My encounter with Hamaka Adventure ATV in Bali was a terrifying ordeal. Their blatant disregard for safety measures and use of outdated, poorly maintained equipment put my life and my daughter's in grave danger. The ATVs provided by Hamaka Adventure were in terrible condition, with worn-out tires lacking proper grip. Additionally, the brakes were virtually non-functional, making it impossible to control the vehicle. This led to a heart-stopping incident where the ATV slid down a hill in the rice terraces, even when we pressed both brakes with all our strength. The ATV eventually flipped over, causing injuries to both me and my daughter. We had to seek medical treatment, and the fear of potential long-term leg issues for my daughter has haunted us ever since. Hamaka Adventure ATV's disregard for safety is deeply concerning. I urge anyone considering their services to prioritize their well-being and find a more reliable and responsible alternative. The experience I had with them was a nightmare that I wouldn't wish upon anyone.

Riding an artificial road under the hot sun with a low-performance motorcycle over and over again 2-3 times. Your arms and shoulders will hurt from adjusting the steering wheel. Not good value for money. Personally, I don't recommend it

Pros: track was fun, they have tour guide, the price is affordable Cons: atv quality isn't good, helmet is unpleasant smell, documentation of the video is poor (where we need to pay more for the photo & video)

I have only positive things to say. There were a few places where the track got uneven but seriously, slow down, brake and take your time on turns. We did prechecks on the ATV and checked brakes and treads on wheels. ATV's were responsive and worked well under all terrain surfaces. Terrains vary from soil, muddy, water, dirt tracks, roads and more. You will start first by gathering at the camp, signing a waiver, fitting your boots and having the choice of having a plastic bag around your feet. Next, you will be taken to the ATV's where you can do pre-checks, check the brakes, accelerator, gear and handles. After which, follow the guide and group closely till you get a break near the end of your trip for drinks (paid) and head back to camp. The guides and the photographer/traffic controller were caring and attentive and would rush to your aid should you have any ATV problems. The group we were with were courteous, patient and weren't rude, speeding or breaking traffic laws or driving like they own the place. Calm, patient and level-headed driving ensured a fun cruise around the track with guides always present and watchful and directing traffic. Would gladly recommend and can't wait to come here again.

First time on an ATV, had so much fun. Spent $A105 on a tandem ride. There was a stench of the helmets though considering the fast turnover of riders. Guides were nice, water provided at pit spots and pictures taken for a price. Our trip got held back by other participants who couldn’t ride and follow route well. Nevertheless, so much fun! Definitely a must do in Bali!

Our group of 14 people came here and did the ATVs. We had a great time! It is a great course but just wish the tour went double in time. The course is challenging in some places and the guides were great in helping those in our group who weren’t comfortable with the downhills. We had 4 children in our group aged 6-10 and they loved it! We did have issues where a couple of bikes had no breaks (2 bikes) but for us that added to the adventure rather than a dampener! Everyone is close together it isn’t an issue and the track in dug in with walls on each side. The nasi goreng they provided for lunch was delicious.

Overall, it was a fun experience, but the condition of bikes was not good. We had a couple breakdown on us, which meant we lost 10 minutes of fun time. The overall course was also very short. No communication from the guide who I believe cut our tour short because of the bikes conditions, but wouldn't know as no one said a thing. When we arrived back and received our lunch, I asked if we would go out a second time and was told yes. Clearly, they didn't understand my question because 10 minutes later, we were told to remove the boots and helmet, and we were done. The two stars are generous only because it was fun for the time we got, but overall, the experience was not worth the money spent. 1 star for value, 1 star for communication, 1 star for condition of machinery, 4 star for fun.

First of all i would like to say that do not waste your money on this beginners ride. There bikes are mechanically faulty. Even the brakes aren’t working so consider your safety. Secondly the route is sooo pathetic like we are having atv rides on the roads so what use of it. You better ride on scooters.

Safety is a joke here the quads here have no brakes and i saw a person fall through the fields in front of my eyes. My fellow friends quads were having wires dangling, tires with no threads etc.. overall wouldn’t recommend to anyone who wants to have a good experience and wants to actually drive your ATV’s.

Very disappointed in what we received today. If it was possible to give it zero stars, I would give it 0 stars. Firstly the route we took was below average, more suited to a total beginner. For the price that we paid, we expected the ride to last at least 1 hour & 30 minutes, not 40 minutes. We also spent more time on the road than the actual route/activities. For the price we paid, I expected to see a waterfall as promoted on their website/brochure, I expected to see & go through a large river, rice paddies. All we got was a lame ‘waterfall’, a tiny tunnel, and a few muddy tracks that they made us do loops around. The helmets were worn out, and definitely passed their due date. The ATV’s themselves were outdated & dangerous. The brakes are basically nonexistent, the wheels have no tread. Should an accident have occurred, it would have been very consequential. Furthermore, in order to purchase photos of you, they make you pay an extra 250k for ALL the photos they took, including photos of other people not in our group which I think is disrespectful & unacceptable. You cannot choose photos of only the people in your group. The food we received was disgusting, it amazes me that they are even allowed to serve food. I would not recommend this place or this tour to anyone, EVER.
