Stayed here on a recent business trip and could not be more pleased with the experience. The room was clean and had everything I could ask for--spacious, clean with kitchen, washing machine, living room and all! The facilities in the hotel were beautiful (gym, pool, multiple restaurants), and the service was friendly and timely. I would definitely stay here again on any return visit to Lusaka!

It's a wonderful place, beautiful and luxurious. Conveniently located next to Manda Hill Mall, with a police post and hospital just within walking distance. It has a restaurant with a beautiful view of the city below, and a pool. It also has an all you can eat buffet restaurant on the ground floor. I'd definitely recommend trying this place out.

Amazing hotel, the managing director is very ambitious. The style is slick and modern, Cousine is amazing with indian Chinese and continental dishes.

Had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel! The service is impeccable from your first walk through the front door to your room accommodation. Everyone greets you with a smile, asks if you need assistance with anything, provides you with the assistance if needed, and then, sends you on your way with another smile. The rooms are modern, spacious, and clean. Nice pool, where you can relax and grab a drink. The staff accommodated our group of 9 for a fantastic out door dinner experience. My compliments to the chef for a fantastic meal! I can’t thank the hotel and staff enough for a wonderful experience. I highly recommend anyone visiting Lusaka to stay here.

We stayed for a week. The room was clean and the hot water and water pressure drainage in the shower was fine. The breakfast in the restaurant is delicious. The service staff was courteous, especially the chef, Sikh winder. He would wrap up any food I wanted to take back to my room and prepare a hot meal for me. Overall, I am satisfied.

The food is great, the speed of service leaves room for lots of improvement. The drinks ok but if you order a room temperature drink (lager), be ready to wait forever. 😠

A user-friendly venue for workshops. Been there at least 4 times with a year. On this occasion, though, the hotel carpark was however full and so had to Park at the next premises. Not a great experience.

Stayed here for over 2 weeks and I understand why my coworkers rave about this hotel. If you’re hesitant, run, don’t walk and make your reservation here! First of all the SPACE. It’s like renting a 1 bed 1 bath apartment with a full kitchen, a counter, a dining table, and in-unit washer and dryer. As a business traveler working long hours this setup is amazing. I can do my own laundry, heat up left overs, cook meals (they even provide kitchen stuff like pots and pans). As a female with lots of delicate clothing items to wash, you’d understand why having your own washer and dryer is a huge game changer. The bed is so comfy! Second of all is LOCATION. You’re right across the street from a grocery store, restaurants, you name it. It’s central and good for work meetings. Third of all is the SERVICE. Everyone on the Sarovar team treated me so well and not fake friendly (if you know you know). Everyone’s so nice! Every afternoon I got a piece of cake delivered to my room. So nice. Fourth of all is the FACILITIES. It has a good gym, a pool, and sauna to unwind after a long work day. Fifth of all the BREAKFAST is GREAT. See my separate review of Copper Pot. On a busy work day they can bring you your breakfast for 300 kwacha. Amazing. On one of my last nights I came back to a bottle of wine, cakes and fruit. Such a nice gesture! I will definitely stay here again if I find myself in Lusaka and I wish other hotels take note 😄

Everything here is above and beyond! Breakfast is amazing with so many choices and many custom made fresh for you options. The rooms are large and clean with slippers and robes for you along with many other top of the line amenities.

Pros: Great location, Easy parking, Excellent security, Top-notch reception, Delicious food, Comfortable, stylish rooms, Lovely pool. Cons: Pricey, Noisy (traffic), Service can be bothersome at times (frequent interruptions)

I am yet to try out the rooms. Yet to spend a night. But the restaurant is great. The menus comprehensive and great food. The service is excellent. From the chauffeurs to the waiters.. I intend to visit it as often as I can.

It’s a good hotel to stay for business travellers. Everyone in the team is super helpful especially Mr. Santosh(Chef) and local Zambian staff. Would recommend anyone who is travelling to Lusaka to stay here.

The service was fantastic. Sydney in particular managed the bar with great professionalism and his team with the inclusion of Martha (the supervisor), James, William and the entire Smokehouse team were lovely and the food was great. We will be here again for our Gala and Conference.

It was a very good hotel. The rooms were clean and the housekeepers cleaned them every day. There was a cake service in the evening which was very tasty. Also, a shopping mall is next to the hotel, which made it very convenient for grocery shopping. We stayed on a plan that included breakfast and the breakfast was very good. It suited the Japanese palate and we looked forward to it every morning. The chef, Sukhwinder, was especially kind and helpful, explaining the dishes to us and preparing what we ordered immediately. The staff were all smiling and it was a great experience. Thank you very much for all your help. Thank you very much.

I had to wait an hour for my masala tea, the buffet food really wasn't K400. Their cake store is pretty the desserts could taste better. It's a pretty place, ambience isn't much.

I came to Zambia for my birthday I’m glad I chose the right destination to celebrate my birthday. I only had a 20 hour layover in Lusaka and i chose to stay here. My stay at the Neelkanth Sarovar Premiere was amazing thank you so much to the staffs for making my stay perfect they was super professional, friendly, helpful with all my needs. The room I stayed in was big and spacious and super clean, the food was delicious I would definitely recommend this hotel and I would definitely be back thank you :)

Super hotel. Staff were always extremely patient and helpful. The room was excellent and the hotel in general was kept spotlessly clean. Great breakfast choices and the Indian menu is really wonderful. Location opposite Manda Hill mall gives some outlet from hotel life.

Stopped by for a quick breakfast, great service and very orderly and courteous staff. Breakfast runs from 6am to 10am which is very convenient even for non-residents. No prior reservations required.

Food was well seasoned. 2 medium sized prawns for K350 seems somewhat unreasonable, food was cold, my waiter disappeared for a good 20 minutes.

We had breakfast at Sarovar a couple of times. The staff is extremely attentive to detail and very welcoming. The food was also excellent with lots of variety. A special mention to Annie who made sure we had everything we wanted and always brought our meals with a beautiful smile on her face. 😊

This is the best hotel ever! I loved everything from the service to the spacious luxurious room. I am so sad that I can’t find other locations outside Lusaka. This could easily be the only hotel I stay as I travel across countries

From the moment you enter, someone is at your service. The suites lend themselves to long term stays - Work desk, kitchen (with microwave, hob, pots, crockery, cutlery), laundry room, dining area, lounge and of course bed and bathroom. There's a pillow selection, based on your preference. Right across a mall. The menu is varied. There's Zambian, Chinese, Indian and other international cuisine. Pool is great, but right next to the bar, feels a bit crammed. Friendly staff High on aesthetics ✨️ 👌 10/10 recommended!

It is centrally located, transport is easy to find, alot of entertainment all around the area, its opposite a shopping mall (Manda Hill) The food is very tasty, the rooms are spacious & clean. Service is excellent. It also has a lovely clean pool & Gym.

My experience of Sarovar Hotel was memorable. The hospitality was felt from the security officers at the entrance to the receptionists, to the attendants at the restaurant, to the housekeeping team. I will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Lusaka👌. The only down side that needs to be looked into without delays are the elevators. They're very slow. They probably need to be upgraded or recalibrated for efficiency.

Service is excellent but food consistency is missing. Dishes have more salt than necessary. Parking is very tight and limited.

We took advantage of thier SmokeHouse Grill Roof top dining. First, to be clear, the "roof" was only on the top of the second floor and also included the pool. You could see some nice views of the city. As for the food...it was great! The meat had great flavor and the seafood was done perfectly! The seating is limited and they do not have sufficient umbrellas to cover the tables and protect all seats from the sun. This made some seats uncomfortable in direct sunlight. We were lucky enough that another family departed right as we realized the sun was shining in half of the table's face. I recommend getting there early or making a reservation if you can. Nice lunch!

The rooms are more spacious and have more amenities than your average hotel room. You can in fact have a private meeting right from your room, do your own laundry or if you're tired of eating hotel food, run across the street to Mandahill Mall to get something you can cook for yourself, yes, because you can cook from your room. The service is very good too, and the staff both friendly and helpful. Oh and don't forget the view.

This place is my favorite go to when In Lusaka. I can speak with confidence about it as I had stayed there for long stays (2-3 weeks) during multiple times. The service is great and they really care in making sure your stay is a memorable one. From the front door (shout out to Sydney with his great smile as soon as you step in) to the chef, cleaning crew, waitresses, maintenance, reception team to the management who care about your comfort and giving you a 5star expect. Keep doing what you are doing and will see you soon!
