I've tried 6 different stylists, most thru Groupon, and 1 at Ulta Pearl City. While they all claimed to be "color experts," NONE of them could match the one picture of haircolor I've been seeking. After wasting hours & hundreds, the Ulta in Kapolei offered to correct my hair at no charge. Kathy, the salon manager with over 30 yrs experience, corrected my hair in only 2 hours AND matched my sample picture! She is a Godsend and will now be my Stylist for life.

I got my haircut by Nicole and absolutely love it! I was referred to her by my friend and I cannot recommend her enough. Nicole was very knowledgeable and trustworthy. I usually only get my hair cut once a year but I will definitely be back sooner!

Just want to give this store a big applause because before I came to know about them, I just thought cosmetic stores only had stuff for women. I picked up some moisturizer for my face to help after I shaved and it has worked wonderful. Also, their cologne and perfume section are better then any other department stores because they have testers for all of them and you don’t have to be tied to a staffer asking to smell this or that. The staff no matter the location are very nice and will go out of their way to help you find what you need.

I love shopping at ulta. But at kapolei today, I felt I was being treated very rudely. Paid 55 bucks for a designer makeup bag. As I was walking out, one of the workers said to me “are you going to pay for that” I replied “I have my receipt wanna see it?” Mind you she was standing in there on her phone doing nothing, acting like she didn’t know I paid for it lol. I showed it to her and she started laughing as I was walking out. Had to control my anger in that situation lol. Some people are so ignorant.

They have great items but when asked the worker to help match shade for a specidic product, he comments immediately that he doesn't really work with that product so I don't know if that meant for me to find another worker who knows the stores product or it meant I'm stuck with the item he gonna sell to me? At the end of my shopping I had no choice but to go home with the product to try it and hope I don't have to go back and give another item to try, although I could go to another location in hopes their workers much more helpful or confident on what they are selling. Also, I know I didn't have get the item but I was in need at that moment.

Staff was very nice and helpful. I wish they would fix the Google map for their location it had me circling another building

Overall a great store to shop at. However, was very displeased with the benefit brow bar. I will never get my brows done at this location again. I asked the girl before she did my brows to please keep my shape which was thick and also informed her that I did not like thin brows. She proceeded to map out my brows and I explained to her that the shape that she was mapping out was not the shape that I have on my brows to please follow the shape that I have and to only clean them up. Needless to say she waxed my brows unevenly One was thinner than the other. Do not come and get your brows done here.

I love this Ulta location, especially their salon! They have so many great hair stylists who take the time to understand what you want done and really make sure you get the time to relax and indulge in the experience. The store has a great selection of cosmetics, perfume, and skin care—I always find what I’m looking for and more.

I just went into Ulta Kapolei and I had the best shopping experience thanks to the workers there especially an awesome worker name Adam. I don’t usually write reviews but he literally made my shopping experience so much better, he was so helpful, so patient, and so nice. ULTA NEEDS TO PROMOTE HIM!!
