Maui Makeup Artistry is an incredible team. I did a spray tan a few days prior to the wedding and loved it. The day of the wedding my bridesmaids, the moms and I all got our hair and makeup done. Liz and her team were so professional, talented and personable. All the ladies looked fabulous and I'm so grateful for how my bridal look turned out. I opted for glam waves and Amber made me feel like a Hollywood movie star. Liz did my trial and day-of makeup - it was the perfect blend of dewy/natural and glam. I loved it. The Maui Makeup Artistry team did an amazing job and exceeded my expectations! I worked with them through my wedding planner and each step was seamless. Even adding additional services for my bridesmaids at the end was stressless and they were so easy to communicate with. They met us at our hotel suite and worked so timely and efficient we were even early for our timed schedule. My bridal experience was incredible. My hair and makeup lasted all night and didn’t budge even without touch ups. I still felt like myself and that was really important to me! Best experience by far.

Liz and her team are genuinely GOOD PEOPLE and the MOST talented in the game. Dana (Beauty Coordinator, Spray Tan): Dana was our prime point of contact for booking and scheduling. She was prompt with her responses and super friendly. She arrived at our resort the day before for a spray tan. She was early, organized and efficient. More importantly, she was so fun and friendly. I’ve had some pretty “meh” spray tans in life, but Dana did an excellent job. No streaks and the color was perfect!! Amber (Hair Stylist): I had sent hair and makeup “inspo” prior to my big day, so Amber knew ahead of time what I had been looking for. I had had a horrible hair cut at my home salon prior to my arrival in Maui and was terrified my hair wouldn’t turn out the way I had wanted. Amber was super sweet and calmed my nerves. She was FABULOUS. Did EXACTLY what I wanted without any issue! I could have cried I was so happy! Liz (Makeup Artist): Liz did a PHENOMENAL job. She is an artist, hands down. When the appt started we were total strangers and when she left we were friends. She is the utmost professional and an awesome businesswoman. She is just the best!

Thank you to Maui Makeup Artistry for getting myself and all of my girls ready for my wedding! I am from San Diego and did a lot of research on hair and makeup for my big day. I found Maui Makeup Artistry via Instagram and I never looked back!! I did not get the chance to do a trial and was pretty nervous, but thankfully had a lot of inspo pictures. My nerves were gone quickly the day of the wedding when the team showed up including Marissa and Val on makeup & Amber and Kenzie on hair. They listened to all of our requests/needs and truly made myself and all of my girls feel confident and beautiful. I cannot thank Maui Makeup Artistry enough. The Maui Makeup Artistry team exceeded my expectations in making my wedding day perfect! They were so kind and easy to work with and always on top of details while I was planning from the east coast. The ladies showed up to our resort and kicked off our wedding day celebrations in no time. The Maui Makeup team was THE dream team for my bridal needs. Liz, the owner corresponded with me often to ensure my vision was understood months leading up to the big day. Being a destination wedding, there can be some anxiety working with people hundreds of miles away but I always felt I was in good hands. Liz also has experience in doing glam in LA so I feel like she understood the more modern “clean girl aesthetic” techniques that are sweeping Hollywood right now. I felt it was the much newer “more is less” than the often heavier bridal looks I’ve seen, which was perfect for me. I wanted my look to be classic yet natural so I could look and feel like myself, not some mega glam version I wouldn’t recognize when I look back on these photos in years. Even having met Liz only twice before the big day, she knew exactly what I meant and delivered just that. She listens to your needs and has a great instinct with creating an overall look. She also gave me a second lip color for my after party dress change! Another bonus, Liz was simply easy to talk to and a pleasure to spend time with which is exactly the person you want on a potentially chaotic, stressful event. Anna, who did my hair was also phenomenal and such a pleasure to work with. She did an incredible job with an updo that was perfection. I’ll never be over my wedding look. Every single one of my bridesmaids, mom and sisters were so happy with their looks. Everyone looked gorgeous! My bridesmaids and I had such a seamless and positive, stress-free experience the day of the wedding. Maui Makeup made everyone feel so beautiful. I could not recommend Liz and her team more!

I had a good experience with Maui Makeup Artistry. They were professional and prompt with communication. They answered any questions I had prior to my day. I think the makeup artist did a good job with the inspiration photos I showed. The eyelashes were a little uncomfortable but I got used to them as the day went on. My hair artist was great. I really liked the style she did and the curl held all day during our adventure elopement. They both arrived early to our scheduled time and finished really quickly. The only thing I wish is that they communicated which artists were coming prior to the day. That way I could visit their personal business pages, see their work and feel more comfortable upon their arrival.

Both my makeup artist (Val) hair stylist (Amber) were great! They were so friendly and talented. I loved my bridal hair and makeup! Maui Makeup Artistry was flexible and able to come to a new getting ready location after the wildfires changed our original wedding plans.. highly recommend!
