A nice traditionally built place in haveli style. Food is good but they can work on expanding their menu as it doesn't have much options right now. Beautiful place for hangout and small. get together . You can also enjoy food at the open area or outdoor seating . Nice service and food . Snacks and shakes are also good . Staff is also good in nature. The place is beautiful and interior is also good and outer is decorated with plants . Ambiance is also good . Everything is upto to mark and well maintained .

I was the regular customer of Baithak. I visited again a few days ago and during my latest visit I feel they prepration of food is changed and prices are increased. Food quality is not that much as per the expectations. We tried snacks followed by lunch. It was not a great experience.

Great experience. Food was delicious and the ambience is awesome. We had a 3 course meal which was good. Great place to have a small get together. The staff was humble and welcoming. The service we received was amazing and we will definitely be back again. Menu is extensive.

We went to Baithak for a special family dinner. I really liked Chilly Garlic Mushroom in starters, Matar mushroom and kadahi paneer in main course. Breads are as usual expensive similar to other restaurants. We loved the ambience and the decor. I would say overall it is bit pricey but good for special family nights or gatherings.

This restaurant has very good ambiance and is well maintained. The problem is their service and food. When we asked for a table(looked like a hut) outside they said they are cleaning it will give it in 5 mins. When we enquired after 5 mins, they said that it is given to larger group and we are just 4 people. I had also asked for a baby chair for my kid and it took them 5 reminders and 15 mins to get it. The whole staff is new and inexperienced and the manager as well. We ordered mushroom cheeseball(it didn’t had any cheese only breadcrumbs), tandoori paneer( very salty and paneer was also very hard, didn’t look fresh), tomato dhaniya shorba( very sweet, no dhaniya, thick like soup. I even informed the manager, but instead of accepting anything, he said that’s how shorba is made). I would not recommend this place to anyone. They should train their staff properly to be courteous and polite, and focus on food taste and quality. We just had starters and left, after that we went to Qabila in Zirakpur(it was great experience) for having main course.

Best in class! Parking space is very good. Peaceful place. Dining area is very very beautiful. All the cuisines were up to the mark. Snacks are tastier than main courses. Small bar is also inside if you want to booze. Staff is very professional and service is also good.

I visited them a couple of times both on weekend and weekday. Every time they stood upto my expectations. Food, service, ambience all were great. Specially during weekdays when its not too busy. A must visit place.

This is an excellent place to dine for a lunch even better for a dinner. Their menu is authentic and yummy. We were a group of friends spend about couple of hours and we're very happy about the service and tasty dishes. A must visit in Chandigarh.

The food and the overall ambience is really nice. And the live music also enhances the whole experience. The only thing i didn't like was the service, probably they had few waiters and that's why service was really slow. If they can improve kn the aspect it will be appreciated. Otherwise the whole experience was really good👍🏼

I recently dined at this restaurant with friends, drawn in by its classic interior and promising menu. The staff, overall, were attentive and accommodating, although one member's persistent gaze felt intrusive. For starters we ordered paneer delicacies, desi noodles, and spinach corn rolls, all of which were nothing short of lip-smacking. The burst of flavors left us eager for more. The beverages were just decent. cold coffee passing our expectations and mint and peach ice tea were okay too. Moving on to the main course, both the mushroom do pyaza and paneer six mirchi dishes stood out for their impeccable taste. Accompanied by perfectly baked breads. However, the peanut masala chat failed to impress, lacking the depth of flavor we had anticipated. While the culinary delights were commendable, the table and seating positions were adequate but lacked the coziness one might expect for a leisurely meal. In conclusion, the restaurant offers a delightful combination of classic ambiance and delectable cuisine, with a few minor areas for improvement. My experience was the worst. I was not aware about the service and the food they serve otherwise I would never be there. Their menu description about food is totally different than you get there. Staff is very nice.. Be careful when ordering. Over priced🥴

I would suggest not to waste your moments here. Food was below average. One of the dishes we ordered was Cream Chicken tikka which was not properly roasted. It tasted like raw chicken. Vinegar Onions were served on demand and that too was not edible, smelling bad because these were served directly from the freeze. Service was also not upto to the mark.. the cream chicken tikka which was not edible was cancelled by the staff and was not re-served until it was asked to do so. The kofta-e-khas was like kofta-e-roohafza was too much sugary. We didn't have the courage to complete the food. The photos attached here are of the food we left on the table. In comparison of the ambience and food quality, food is completely overpriced.

Baithak has an ambience that of a cottage. It has gazebos for sitting arrangement surrounding the hotel and you may find brazier(Angithi) in winters outside and enjoy hot meal with drinks. Food is costly compared to its taste and mocktails are okay. One can enjoy live music on special occasions and weekends. That's worth paying for. If you eat meat then do try mutton delicacies.

The options in Veg. Main Course are very limited. They served Dal Bahara (the mixed dal) instead of Dal Makhni and the service of the waiters were too slow. They were looked very lazy. Food was good. Nice preparation. Good for lunch/dinner.

It was my second visit to Baithak. The food at the restaurant is awesome. It’s a wonderful place to dine in with family and friends. Restaurant Manager Mr Arvind is very humble and cooperative. The staff are also supportive and humble. Overall a wonderful experience at the restaurant. Live music enhances the beauty of the place.

Hated the quality of food, it was not up to the mark. Won't ever visit it again. Dish was too salty Naan was stale and hard After all that it was over priced Rs735/- for fish tikka (5 pieces) + taxes

Aesthetics are eye appealing.. Food taste is average. Staff is highly un-trained for hospitality. When we complained about quantity of food, the waiter apologised and brought the dish again. If you don't complain, you will suffer. Worst part is food quantity and prices. Too costly priced by @30%. Much Better options are available in the city.. Not worthy of going again..

The food was delicious. My family members called the chef for special praises. We went for a lunch for 12 people. The ambience was serene. We ordered one veg and one non veg snack after which we ordered main meal containing one non veg and three veg items with drinks. The presentation and the taste were commendable.
