Breakfast (Buffet) experience gone well here. Lassi, Orange Juice, Tea, Mutton Paye, Makki Rooti, Yougrt were great. Puri was kind of dry (thandi), puri channay was not good at all, halwa was good. Other options like bakery items, porridge, eggs, sausages were also available. Congested place but management is good. BBQ tonight should improve channay for puri. Overall good experience with breakfast (8/10) Dinner is average very traditional taste with lot of oil in every dish (3/10), BBQ is too spicy, Mutton ribs (5/10), Chicken Ginger (1/10), Daal (8/10). People like this place as you will always find it very crowded evertime "like food is selling for free here". But I didn't find any reason of so much crowd with this below average taste and presentation. Valet parking is available but you have to wait for long in order to receive your car back. Lift management is good, staff respect female guests. Absolutely not a good option, no value for money.

Awesome! Not only this place serves one of the most delicious food I ever had in Karachi but also with a magnificent chilly weather view. Their Malai Tikka is one of the best. The chicken literally melt in your mouth and tender. Unlike most bbq restaurants, it’s dry but this restaurant perfect it with the juiciness.

Visited after around 2 years. It is still the best in taste and now bit economical too, compared to other big restaurants. Bar BQ tonight is always my first choice for family dinner, but this time kids asked for lunch. Meal was good and freshly cooked. Kids enjoyed steak, prawns and chicken handi with parathas very much. Thank you BBQ tonight for making our day memorable.

Delicious food. This buffet is much recommended for those who love mutton ribs. Their mutton ribs are way too delicious. If you order their ribs from ala carte menu, it is going to cost you PKR 2,500 + tax but you have live mutton ribs that is too unlimited where the entire buffet cost you PKR 2486.00 including tax, where you are going to get many more items like chicken bbq, prawn chowmein, tea, coffee, drinks, cakes & several sweet dishes. Also if you have bank cards you can avail discount too. You can call them & ask for the complete list of bank cards on which discount is applicable.

Bbq tonight is no longer that "safe" option. Tomato soup was an abomination - just ketchup and water. Disgusted by it. The rest of the food was bland, even the karahi and malai boti. The hummus with garlic nan (seriously) was too salty. The only saving grace was the strawberry orange juice.

The ambience is excellent and beside we chosed roof top for sitting, the food served was hot and offered a good taste. The serving was also good and the staff was humble. We had chicken corn soup, brain masla and mutton karahi and I would recommend it for dine in specially dinner.

Great food and service, questionable chutney. As always the food at this location has been excellent. The service was also good overall. The one issue I had is that their chutney was a little off in flavor so I sent it back with the manager who came back to me and acknowledged that the imli chutney was rancid bit did nothing to fit the issue, he sent us back another rancid bowl back which was disappointing. When I asked him about it he acknowledged that the imli may have been bad and said he would fix the rest of the batch but I didn't see them check other tables or being anything back. That was a surprising and disappointing experience but otherwise the food and service were great. Normally a five star experience and hence the minus 1 star for the rancid chutney and return experience on it.

It's a great place , especially the rooftop has a very amazing vibe to it. It must be noted that the place is crowded usually. Food was a solid 6/10 , not very unusual but we only tried 2 dishes so let's give it a chance. The best sizzling Bar B Q joint in town, located in Clifton ample of seating capacity with sufficient car parking and valet service, all major cards are acceptable. The food is excellent with a large menu to choose from, starting from soups to Bar BQ dishes, curries like chicken ginger, handi roast chicken and lamb leg and not to forget the tasty Qabili Pulao. The service is quick not much waiting period with courteous staff, sot out or dine in Air Conditioned hall, a visit to a restaurant you will not regret.

It's good on the rooftop, that's where you get the best experience, only of course when the weather is great. Other floors are chilled but there are certain areas for many tables that don't have air conditioning near it so it isn't the best experience for people sitting there. The service is great. The food though is average and not many good combinations in buffet for dinner on a saturday, example 3 of their chicken kababs taste exactly the same even though they are named & made differently. Peri bites have no place during dinner menu. There is only 1 flavor of ice cream available and that's chocolate chip which tastes more icy than creamy. The mint lemonade is too sweet, I don't know if the majority prefer that way but it shouldn't be that sweet, anyone wanting more sugar can always use the tiny sugar packs offered by the restaurant. One last thing worth mentioning is that for a restaurant based on BBQ there aren't enough BBQ options for dinner, I haven't explored different time slots but I heard the menu is different so hopefully there's more options in other slots.

A place worth going for BBQ at the least. It's the oldest BBQ joint I know of and it has class and taste under one roof. Not your five star type class but a decent air in the room for all. Recommended for meat lovers and especially BBQ lovers. 14 people ate for 7200 approx rupees. Not bad for such tasty BBQ

Yesterday, i took one of my guest who came from Isb to Khi saying that i will take you to khi's best restaurant but what happened with us was so unexpected. We ordered chicken karahi which was served after one hour. Chicken karahi had smell in it and my friend asked me that something is wrong. I then told the staff and they said they will change it but when they brought karahi i was amazed to see that same rotten food was further added with strange pieces of chicken looking blacky as u see in picture. Will anyone believe? May be not but this was what happened to us last night. Worst quality. They offered me other foods but i rejected. May be its the best restaurant but for sure i am not going to recommend it to my friends and family circle.

We tried Mutton Full Leg and Rashmi Kabab. Chicken corn soup was ok. Rashmi Kabab was excellent but Full Mutton Leg was not good. It was very dry and like just Reheated. May be they precooked it and then hear it back. No taste and so hard to chew.

Went to BarBQ Tonight restaurant on 30th August after their reopening. The food is as usual fine. They are not serving on 2nd floor and rooftop yet. Buffet is still not on offer as well as some of the items on menu like Kuneffe, Ice cream. Being holiday, the restaurant was full by 2100. COVID 19 SOPs are being followed. Specialy The distance between tables and within same table the distance between chairs are being maintained.

This the original BBQ Tonight in Defense area. We went to the buffet. A large variety of not only bbq items but other items as well. I thoroughly enjoyed kababs and meat chunks from other parts of the world including Turkey and Iran since they were not as spicy as Pakistani bbq. There is a variety of sweets, salads, and drinks as also available in the buffet. Definitely recommended a visit.

Dolman Mall food court has a number of eateries catering to many tastes. We decided on BBQ Tonight due to our experience at Lahore but the food did not meet the expectations. It was indifferent. cold and tasteless with slow service. Possibly the difference could be attributed to Lahore being a full functional restaurant and Dolman a mere outlet in many.

Before I go to my dine in experience, let me tell you about my phone and reservation experience when I called them to make reservation. I was told that they don't take same day reservation; however, they would accommodate on a first come first serve basis. I was told that they have 2 slots available for their dinner buffet, 7 to 9 and 10 to midnight. I got there a little before 9 so I can have the 2nd slot available but to my utter surprise, I was told that they won't be able to take any more people for the buffet since all tables had already been booked. I was advised with cold shoulders to wait till 11 just to see if they could accommodate us. That's utter ridiculous to ask your patron to wait for 2 hours without any guarantee that they will have a table available by that time. I was also advised to go to the ala carte floors instead. I myself saw several empty tables on the buffet floor but I was told those were already booked. All floors were over crowded and people were literally standing right over and next to those who were dining at their tables. Kids were running around or crying loudly. They have waiting areas on each floor right next to dining areas. It's highly advised that they make the waiting area away from the dining area because people continue to crowd that area where most patrons just want to eat with peace. They should make just one central waiting area, preferably on the ground floor, and send patrons to the available tables upon availability only. They should strongly discourage people crowding the dining floors. While waiting, I observed a few things that suggested how much this place has gone down. The gentry was not the one which used to throng this place before. In the past, there were exclusive people, dressed appropriately for dinner, smelling clean and fresh, eating quietly with their friends and family etc. But now the clientele is very much different. I saw people in dirty clothes and sandals, smelling awfully bad, and talking loudly to each other. I certainly don't mind people from any community or area to come enjoy here but please at least take a shower and get fresh, change your clothes and sandals from what you'd wear at home, use a deodorant and look clean; you'll love yourself and will enjoy your outing experience more. After waiting for over an hour, we got our table which was thankfully away from the crowd. The service was slow apparently due to rush. They'd bring one thing and you'd have to wait for the other to arrive later on. Luckily the food arrived together. The quality was not much different from what you'd get at another similar restaurant, it was just OK, although I'd like a more unique flavor from them. There was further wait for the billing and to arrange packing for the leftovers. If you're looking for a peaceful, hassle free and quiet dining experience then avoid this place on the weekends.

Overall experience of buffet was very good. The only item which I did not find good was Mutton Ribs which was used to be their star dish. Spent a lovely time at Bar B.Q Tonight for brunch on Sunday. We ordered American, Mexican, and Pepper Steak of Beef and Chicken, Hummus, and chicken wings. The taste was so good, and the quantity was quite enough, but some French fries were missing. Mint Lemonade was so delicious.
