The restaurant is situated quite far from central Karachi but is well worth a visit. It is situated near Marina and is very pleasant in the evening. Decor and ambience is good and an excellent place both for family visit as well as business dinner. Food was excellent. Tried BBQ platter, paneer reshmi handi, mutton Peshawari karhai, chicken Peshawari karhai, lahori fish and kabuli pulao. Paneer reshmi handi was the best I had tasted. A must visit place !!!!!

Food here was of good quality as compared to Do-Darya. We have officil get together here that gone well and perfectly managed by staff. Every item we ordered was good. Kolachi accept card payment here but try to avoid at Do-Darya, I don't know why? Overall if you want to eat quality food than come here and if you want to enjoy sea site than you can go do-darya outlet.

Went to this restaurant for dinner on November 26, 2023 as group of 7. Place looks stunning and very picturesque located at seaside. This is huge restaurant which was very busy too. Unfortunately good things ends as soon the food arrives. We ordered many items and non was tasty. Most of the items were very salty and in small portions. Chicken Tikka was came in foil which make it soggy, also size of tikka was like for kids meal. They charge top price for every items. If food is good then we don’t mind hung price but it was terrible. After the meal they bring the phone to us to record the review. I didn’t give good review there as well. They quick bring two pieces of very small Malahi tikka ( just two pieces) for me to try as compensation.this was embarrassing that after spending $23,000 rupees this is what we got ( two pieces) we were not looking for any compensation anyway but felt embarrassed. Lightning was also strange as everything is red in color and you don’t even see true color of food you order. This restaurant is great to take pictures of your Social Media page not for eating here. Stay away there much better options are available.

Good restaurant for Pakistani cuisine specially for BBQ lovers. Our family of 24 people visited here for dinner and enjoyed delicious food. We liked Chicken Peshawari karahi, Mutton Peshawari karahi, Chicken Reshmi kebabs, Chicken Malai boti, Chicken Makhni handi, Afghani Kabulli polau and Humus. All items were made fresh. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Overall nice experience.

Kolachi is to Karachi, what Monal is to Islamabad. It's a grand landmark that you must visit if you're in town. Secinic view of sea with superb food and customer services would make it worth your while. Try their Karahis, Kebabs, and boneless chicken handi paneer, you'd love it. While my stay in Pakistan I heard 3 hype things for Kolachi. Food, Service and Location/Ambiance. I can attest all those 3 without any second thoughts. I visited with family friends and ww ordered Beef Behari - which turned out to be winner of the show. Hunzai Kabab was juicy and fresh, Pehshawari Karhai was right on spot. Garlic naan were quite good and Puri Paratha was awesome as well. Above all was their service, reminded me like i am being served in USA. This level of service is hard to find in Karachi. The place is located in Do Darya, the exact point people can see in Pakistani TV Serials. It has a splendid sea view and a great atmosphere. Their yellow dim lights add to the beauty during the night and watching seagulls all the time is a different craze. Menu is having almost all kinds of options and is a bit pricy... but that is obvious considering the location and the cohort which uses this restaurant. There is a long booking line and you must get the appointment through telephone to avoid an hour long queue. Their staff is super sweet, super friendly and my family felt extremely warm there. P.s. if you are planning to visit during the nights of December/January, I recommend you must carry a heavy shawl to avoid cool breeze from the sea.

It is the hottest day in Karachi when I went to Kolachi in Ocean mall. This restaurant is at the roof top so the wind is blowing and it is a pleasant ambience. The service is ok and so are the food. Ambiance wise it was excellent, service was also good. But the food was no way near up to the standard. The Steak I ordered (medium rare) was chewy and rubbery. The Dry beef chilly was, let's say I've had much better. The only thing I liked were the Dynamite Prawns. To put it simply, I wouldn't recommend it.

If you experience delay in service or food not up to the standards, their manager Shahzad Soomro personally makes sure you're well looked after. Whether getting you a fresh meal or dessert on the house. But I wonder why not ensure correct items from the onset? Staff's courteous and overall food's good. You may find reviews telling you plastic money's not accepted. I too was a bit taken aback by the fact, a name this big don't accept debit or credit card. However, it's not the case anymore. Had their Red Snapper, Pepper Steak, Brain Masala and Mutton Karahi. Everything was upto par, but I'd say tastewise their Mutton Karahi is not as good as Dua (Bilawal House), other than that the place is very welcoming with courteous staff and nice warm lights. I'd recommend it for formal outings, stags can go elsewhere, cause Kolachi is quite heavy on the pocket.

The saffron kulfi was the best. Maybe next time I will go to this restaurant to eat this kulfi. Overall I found this restaurant overrated. More people go here because the name is famous otherwise other restaurants serve good food at a lower price.

The food quality is just amazing and they keep asking you about the taste ... if you don't like the taste the dish is replaced immediately. However, there is a long wait time if you don't have the reservations but environment and seating place for waiting is good enough.

Food was pricey, however the taste was up to the mark. Their service was excellent as they changed my Burger which had dry patties. Bbq was tasty but the chullu kebab had a small piece of minced meat. Nothing would beta them if they increase their food portion or reduce the price a little bit.
