Loved the ambience and simplicity of food. The best part was the service, the way they served the food was amazing. All the dishes were good in taste. Loki daal, chicken karahi, aaloo tarkari, daal were the best in their thaali. Also the iftar and their green pickle. Overall its a good place.

You will feel for a while that you are in indian restaurant. You will enjoy background music. Person comes to the table and offers traditional hand washing services. There is fixed menu for everyday, it is served on a big plate (thali). I enjoyed the food. It was good quality and tasty food. It was very economical. Tea was very tasty. Area is very crowded, so you have to find parking. You may pay bill thru cash or card.

It's all together different experience from other restaurants as they have only one fixed menu for the whole day and the serving style is also unique. First, they place empty thali with small bowls on it, then start serving vegetarian dishes in small quantities in the bowl and white rice and achar chutney on the Thali . If you want typical Rajdhani experience it's your place to go. They have the "thali system" here. So as you go you're served with a thali which consist of starters and main course and to end it with yum kheer and elachi chai. Too good, would definitely recommend.. It cost 1200 per head.

Taste was 1/10 We were 3 and asked for 2 thaalis but they said every person should have their individual thaali. 1200/thaali. So, 1200 per head, it wasn't worth it at all. NOT RECOMMENDED

I visited this restaurant with my friend on a Saturday evening. We had to wait for about 15 minutes as the place was very popular and had limited seating capacity. However, the owner was very kind and attentive, and arranged us a table as soon as possible. So make sure you have time to get in waiting que if the place is full. We ordered the thaali, which consisted of various dishes such as dal, dhokla, roti, rice, salad, chassh and various items. The food was served in large metal plates and bowls, giving it an authentic feel. 2 persons can easily eat up in 1 thaali. Refills are unlimited. The dishes were flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. In the end we were served with the traditional halwa and chai.

Never had Gujrati food before but this seems authentic in taste and presentation. Thali is more than enough for a single person but I think they charge the same amount for adults and children both. Comfortable sitting, nice environment and helping staff.

This place had been on my list since long. I had first known about this place from a very reupted news television program. I guess BBC or DAWN. But for one reason or the other we could not make it. We requested hotel owner to let us park our car near the table, so he sleeps with in. He agreed happily and as I pulled my car near. He offered us a cosy, warmer area for the sleeping child in this cold weather. He himself pushed couches to gather them in an arrangement that my son does not fall in his sleep. Everyone was very hospitable and warm. Infact owners family was sitting near us and they welcomed and greeted us with warmth and smile on their faces. Coming to the food, this was the best desi food we have ever experienced. From starters papar and dhokla to main courses it felt so tasteful and clean as at home. We loved main courses panir, chicken, daal, chana, allo ki bhaji with rice, roti and puri. And soji ka halwa in dessert was cherry on top. Enjoyed the masala karak chai at the end. It is a must try place. Infact I will be taking my kids here on regular basis beacuse they are not very meat lovers. They liked allo ki bhaji, desi foods and puri. Being a food lover and a professional dentist hygiene and food quality are no compromise for me. And I found everything in there thali buffet even halwa for my sweet tooth and desi appetite.

I had great experience there. I will suggest that it's a one time experience place. Because it wasn't about food its about experience. The food was average. Chicken curry was also average and bhindi was also like normal homemade bhindi. The thing I don't like is that a tattooed man was continuously walking in the restaurant and giving instructions to staff. If he was a manager than he should be in manager like dress. I think people who come with their wife, mother or sister will feel uncomfortable due to this behaviour.
