Food was good not too expensive but they must increase variety

My previous visits to Zameer Ansari were not my first, and I must acknowledge that they were likely the pioneers in introducing Chicken Malai Boti and Chatak Kabab in Karachi. However, during my latest visit, I encountered some disappointing issues. It seems that there may have been a minor oversight by the staff, but despite that, I still rate this place 4 stars. The Chicken Malai Boti I had yesterday lacked the same taste and competitiveness compared to other restaurants in Karachi. And Onion was smelly which they changed it quickly after I notified about it. In fact, it was the worst tasting Malai Boti Kabab I have ever had, anywhere. Zameer Ansari should consider maintaining their quality standards and improving the quality control department of the restaurant. Although my experience was unsatisfactory, the reason for giving this place a higher rating than it deserves, based on my experience, is due to its ♿accessibility-friendly features. The presence of a movable ramp at the restaurant and a lift to the dining hall makes this place ♿accessible to everyone.

Great taste and value for money

One of the best BBQ joints in Karachi, located in a busy shopping area. We tried different options which all were tasty and prepared fresh. Friendly staff. Gets very busy after about 8pm on weekdays. Rooftop restaurant is for groups of friends/colleagues while the family restaurant is on level 1. Many customers prefer to enjoy the food outside tables by the road. Lighting wasn't adequate. The bill was partially printed and the lassy we ordered were probably sourced from outside so they were handwritten. Toilet cleanliness has to be improved and only available at rooftop. Still I would recommend due to the quality of BBQ and grill dishes. Hope to see some improvements when I visit next.

19Apr23, went after years and I will have to say if you want to experience good bbq then go to this branch. I had tried the new branch opened in Bukhari D.H.A. but it was disappointing. Last time I had Zameer Ansari It has been more than 5 years and I have to say they have better their quality.

I recently dined at Zameer Ansari and while the food was okay, I was disappointed with the ambiance and service. Easily one of the best barbecue you'll find in the city. I think Ghaffar and Delhi Muslim are still better than Zameer Ansari in terms of taste but it's still right up there amongst the best. It doesn't have the best ambiance but that's not what it's famous for. I found the staff courteous and an open kitchen gives you the satisfaction of relatively hygienic kitchen but it certainly won't win an awards for it. Overall it's just the taste that compensates for all the shortcomings this place has.

All the barbeque dishes are of great taste and quality. Alamgir Road branch is the real Zameer Ansari, all others are his franchises.

It's been a decade or more I have been visiting this place and always ordered mayo garlic roll or behari boti roll. It's the first time I sits in family area and tried green masala tikka and chandan kabab. Food served hot and freshly cooked. Both items were extremely yummy with mild spices which didn't ruin the taste. Enjoyed every bite with pori paratha. A must recommend for bar b cue lovers.

We visited zameer Ansari near teen talwar opposite bacha party. Pathetic service, food quality not good and the quantity served seems liked lefts overs. Not worth it. Highly expensive, not worth the food or ambiance. They are fraud, there bill and final invoice also had differences. We had to ask them to change the plates due to cleanliness issues as well. Not recommended at all.

I heard good about their BBQ, but honestly speaking g, I didn't experience any better food there. Just average food. Not very good not bad.

One of the finest barbecue restaurant in the city. The parking space is a problem, specially in the night time. At weekends parking becomes a more difficult task and the crowded area doesn't spare you either. The sitting area is not suitable for families. It's also not a place for people who are health conscious. It's amazing if you're a foodie though.

Zameer Ansari is one of the oldest BBQ place in Karachi town. Located in the center of the city they have amazing taste. They have a dedicated building of three floors and a top floor. All of the items are delicious however during my last visit I tried gola kabab , Chicen malai boti and Tikka.

5 stars any day of these week. Food quality and taste is great. The waiting time is longer at times due to popularity and scarcity of space but that's worth it.

3rd Floor open to sky is the place for family dine in. Simple rooftop with no investment to give it a restaurant like look. Untrained and perhaps uncultured employees whom I had to scold to tell him that we were there to eat and not to face his unnecessary, unpleasant stares. No Managers were available to report. Three stars for tasty food.

Food taste was mixed. Tried chicken Reshmi. Beef Dhaga kebab and chicken boti they were good. The chicken myo garlic rolls were not good the myo taste was strange. Service was good but cleanliness requires much more work specially the menu pages were dirty from chatni and what not. Parking was easy.

Best thing was environment and BBQ chicken, Mutton fry kabab was only a small serving of Qeema which was half cooked, for 2 leg piece and 1 Qeema 1900 bill was ridicolus. I prefer to enjoy anywhere else in this small budget. Everyone has their opinion, mine I have clearly wrote here

When feeling hungry and want to experience some road side food in average money with some really amazing taste than no place is better than Zameer Ansari

Very famous place of karate for barbecue. It has all barbecue items available with good taste. Sitting place is at 3rd floor in an open sky. You can also enjoy famous alamgir Pratha Near this restaurant. It’s one of the best restaurant in Karachi for food taste.

Very average food quality. The Tikka was not fully cooked and blood oozed out, yuk. The rest of dishes has similar taste. Neither Fresh lime drink nor LEMON 🍋 available. And the service quality is really pathetic. So many people doing nothing, serving of food takes long time.

Our first choice in every event and all our family gatherings for the last 20 years. Still the best bbq items in this area. They are like the king of this area.

Got a chance to visit last night after hearing alot of hype from friends. The food was delicious and the service was fast and the staff was very nice. We ordered beef fry kabab (which was so delicious especially with a good serving of melted butter on top), the waiter recommended their speciality of Chatkhara chicken which was good but not that special but the last item the malai boti was spectacular. Over the food wise experience was good. The restaurant itself could use a bit of improvement. There were open dustbins and cleaning equipment all in the main dining hall instead being somewhere and the table we sat on was wobbly and the chairs were really dirty. Overall experience: Food 8/10 Ambiance 4/10 Price 8/10

Bad experience about new arrival of beef behaari kabab. Meat was not tendered, tasteless dish, over pricing. No taste of meat and look like halwa.

Had an iftar dinner with the office colleagues, food was delicious especially beef bihari and fried kababs... Initially, they offered us a complimentary rooh afza and dates for the iftar however later they refused to give sharbat and provided dates only. Service is a bit slow.

I love its special Chicken malai boti, all food is so delicious but special chicken malai boti is extra ordinary tasty. Service is good atmosphere is nice good hygienic food is prepared.

Visited Zameer Ansari Bhadurabad branch after a long long gap. They new have a large, well design dining area with lifts accessibility. Thanks God, food quality is still good but compare to price serving size should be balanced. Service is also effective but plates have stain marks which ruins the cleaniness looks. Option in food is limited to BBQ...and Partha, chapati and Naan. Overall a nice place.

It's a very nice place to eat bbq items, there speciality is fried kebabs, staff is very nice and co-operative. Even though they didn't have any prayer area but the staff was kind enough to arrange a praying place for us and that too without any hesitation

Zameer Ansari is your answer to authentic BBQ in the City of Lights. It is among the long standing and ever growing restaurant in Karachi that attracts wide range of customers owing to its taste and standard that it maintained year over year. Recently the restaurant has increases its price quite a bit. Now per head cost could be anywhere between 800 to 1,500 based on your appetite, however it's still value for money considering its taste and quality. One area where this particular branch lacks is unavailability of proper sitting area for families. People sit around the road on plastic table and chairs which are not very clean. Overall the restaurant is 10/10 based on the food.

Located in Bahadurabad, right in front of the famius Alamgir Trust & Mosque is probably the best Kebab House in Karachi (after Waheed Kebab House, Burns road) Their BBQ variety includes a wide range of mouth watering innovations having unique tastes and recipes. Ordered fry chicken kabab and Dhaga Kabab with chapati. Worst food of the century. And service were worst too. When I asked what is this he said whatever it is it is your food. Have it or not. Upto you. I was shocked.

This used to be my go to spot for bbq - but off late since new gen took over, it’s just any other bbq. Especially hate the fact that everything has too much of meat tenderizer rather than natural spices to tenderize! Hope they return to original roots which made them so successful

Best ever BBQ in Karachi from my opinion their malai boti with special sauce is awesome. Overall a good experience. Their sitting arrangement must be improved as its on road side for family their sitting area is average quality.

Avoid dinning as they have makeshift arrangements on road due to covid-19 SOPs moreover cleanliness on the roof top was not satisfactory. Otherwise cooking area was clean and BBQ was good.

One of the best BBQ in K-town. Love their all traditional mouth watering barbecue filled menu. One should try this and bring their filies as well. Also a good option for bringing your foreigner friend to enlighten their tastebuds with Pakistani food. Staff is somewhat slow as they have to cater a lot of customers at a same time. Overall a good experience. Their sitting arrangements needs improvements, specially for families.
