I visited the park after a long time before that it was a best park regarding to maintenance and facilities like greenery and play items for kids the most appreciated was the sea side track for jogging it was awesome. But now it is destroyed by all aspects.

Authorites did the bare minimum to create something here, which is occasionally looked after :P But its location makes it prime venue for various events and open environment in the surrounding makes it great for a general stroll. Attended couple events here including Karachi food festival, found ok.

Benazir Park in Karachi is in a great spot, making it easy to get to. What I really like is how clean and pretty it is. Located at boat basin, huge in length, have a best view with boat basin lake, there was a floating pedestrian way in the lake but now that is removed (3 days ago, my last visit)... Please reinstall it... 😹 Not too much cry crowded ever, big green lawns for children play, visit up to 7 pm not later than this, however no issue of security. A big food street situated just opposite the park but not recommend ☺️ Just check white biryani stall in front of itza pizza...

Muhammad Bin Qasim Park (old name) or Benazir Bhutto Park (new name) is one of favourite places since my childhood. It is well maintained, ever green park. Some scenes of Pakistani drama serials are also shot in there. It has also seen different festivals and fairs in different times. The darker side, is the ticket guy. They ask you for a random amount for parking + entrance fee, but don't provide you tickets. It's really irritating and they often go offensive. But for a Peace lover, such small amount of money doesn't matter.

It stinks even to pass from there. Authorities should figure out a way to clean the basin. And then utilize the space for public entertainment.
