My name is Nimra and I delivered my baby girl on April 15 2021.i would like to share my experience. I registered myself with a very famous Dr. Zaib un Nisa. She checked me first time when my 8th had been started. She asked me to do all the tests once again. I told her that all the tests are already be done but she didn't listen to me and she had started frightening me as I am at high risk due to gestation diabetes which was a fake or an artificial diagnosed by Aga khan I'm sure about it because I monitored my fasting and random consecutively 2 weeks and showed them to another doctor and according to her it was perfect. I spent 30k on tests only in 8th month of pregnancy. If there was a problem how could I complete 8 months of pregnancy! A logical thought. Anyway she didn't suggest or recommend me but she ordered me for induction In 37th week. It was horrible, pathetic and miserable. They admitted me a day before induction. Their ward for induction process is like a school. You can't go outside without their permission, you can't use cellphone in fact you can't even meet your husband. They have prisoners instead of patients. They give treatment one by one like you're in prison and waiting for your punishment. After tolerating so ooooooo much pain I asked for epidural and I also asked that I will allow them to attach catheter and water bag rapture after epidural intake but as I told you I was a prisoner over there and bearing a lot of pain they didn't listen to me and did both before epidural. A very very serious concern is I didn't get epidural for sooooo long why ? Because they have only one doctor who gives epidural and anaesthesia to thousands of patients. When he came for epidural no one listened his knock on labor room and he had gone. After shouting in pain like a bird without wings for epidural I didn't get it because that doctor was in operation theater. Nurses who were there told me to complain him lol all are same there.30 mins before I delivered my baby I got epidural finally. Before I deliver by baby my 10 cm was completely opened and my baby was only 2.8 kgs but still I got stitches. As you know that patients in Aga khan are not patients, they are for practice for junior doctors of Aga khan. I had stitches by a junior doctor in presence of senior doctor and zaib un Nisa. I heard whispering of Sr. Doctor to Jr. Doctor about misapplying stitches and yes I was right after 2 hours of delivery in labor room another doctor found that my stitches have blood clots between them. Then they called zaib un Nisa and told her everything. She came on urgent basis not for in concern of her patient's life but in concern of making money. She came to hospital and talked to my husband that my stitches need to be opened and applied again a surgery is required. She manipulated my husband completely and she successfully got his consent for surgery. I knew everything that's why I asked to meet my husband before surgery but she didn't call my husband and she didn't let me to meet my husband because she knew that if I meet my husband I would definitely tell him about their mistake and he would create fuss about their mistake. Finally I got a surgery I got double anesthesia after epidural doses. She told my husband about surgery that we have given double dose of anesthesia to her due to her mentally instability lol she was still afraid of if I tell my husband about their mistake it might be a big problem for her. I delivered my baby at 2 o clock in afternoon and I was able to meet my family and my baby at 11 o clock in night. Ohh Allah saved me from them otherwise I lost hope of my life at the time they started my surgery. After all that happening it took 2 months in healing my stitches. Just a thought why didn't I go for C section? Might be it would be easier for me than so called induction normal delivery. I won't recommend aga Khan and Dr. Zaib Un Nisa to anyone. 2 of my cousins are pregnant and I told them not to register from Aga khan at all and not to visit that bloody doctor at all.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Aga Khan Hospital for Women to see a patient. In general, my experience was satisfactory, though a few aspects left room for improvement. One noticeable aspect was the lack of clearly defined visiting hours. Despite checking the hospital's online information, I was unable to determine the appropriate times for visiting. Additionally, the hospital's policy permitting husbands as attendants was appreciated, but this wasn't communicated effectively on-site. Parking during off-hours proved to be quite challenging. The limited availability of parking spaces caused some inconvenience, making the process of entering the hospital premises more time-consuming than desired. Once inside, I encountered an issue with the waiting area. It was quite crowded, primarily due to the presence of numerous family members who were there to celebrate the arrival of newly born babies. This left me with no available seating in the waiting area. As my wife visited the patient, I found myself waiting outside within the hospital's boundaries. While I understood the importance of managing the crowd within the hospital, it would have been beneficial if there were designated spaces/areas or facilities for accompanying family members during such situations. In conclusion, my visit to Aga Khan Hospital for Women provided an overall satisfactory experience. Addressing the issues of unclear visiting hours, parking availability, and providing adequate seating in the waiting area could enhance the experience for visitors in the future. The hospital's dedication to providing care for women and newborns is evident, and with some refinements, the visitor experience could match this commitment.

Agha Khan Hospital for Women, Karimabad: Navigating Contrasts in Care Pleasant Atmosphere: The hospital exudes a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, providing patients with a positive environment conducive to healing. Poor Management: Unfortunately, the positive ambiance is marred by reports of suboptimal management, reflecting inefficiencies and organizational challenges. Competent Doctors: Despite management concerns, the hospital boasts a team of skilled and competent doctors, contributing to the overall quality of healthcare services. Good Setting Area: The hospital's location offers a serene setting, enhancing the overall patient experience and contributing to a healing environment. Good Emergency Ward for Women and Children: A notable strength lies in the well-equipped emergency ward, catering specifically to the urgent needs of women and children. Heavy Fees: A drawback for many is the high cost associated with services, potentially limiting accessibility to a broader population. Time Delay of Appointments: Patients often encounter delays in securing appointments, hinting at potential challenges in the hospital's scheduling system. In conclusion, Agha Khan Hospital for Women in Karimabad presents a complex scenario. While the pleasant atmosphere, competent doctors, and dedicated emergency ward stand out positively, issues with management, high fees, and appointment delays require attention for an improved overall patient experience.

I visited in emergency due to heavy bleeding in first trimester. But, they said they cannot handle the emergency cases and referred me to main agha khan or I must wait for 1 and half hour before I can get any treatment. Unfortunately, I aborted my first ever child due to a slight negligence just a week ago. Instead of treatment, I was asked to get an ultrasound done in a 6 weeks pregnancy, FWB. Another professor doctor from other hospital said, it was too early to give an ultrasound (6 weeks) and if she had to, it should have been TVS and not FWB 😢💔...

Pethatic experience! No one was behaving professionally. I felt I am in a Government Hospital. Even more worst. I had to wait a lot for the child vaccination. Their staff not following the right time to open the counter. No one was available to facilitate as per the token number. When people shouted then they realised to handle the people but with unprofessional behaviour. There was no proper sitting arrangement as well. Just charging you high using their name. Not at all recommend! Better to go other private hospitals if Agha Khan is not necessary! Total boycott!

Thoroughly disappointed. During my routine chekups staff & radiologists were extremely rude & ill- manared. Doctor never informed me of anything only 3 sentences: take these medicines, do these test & come back a week later. When I was admitted I was lied about so many things including saying that my perfectly healthy baby has no heartbeat. They don't take care of patient especially in delivery room. Most women are manhandled & put in more pain then necessary. I am a doctor myself & know all about un necessary interventions. They did procedures only for money making. They totally disregard patient's pain & cause more of it. Doctor's or staff they are same & most unprofessional people I had misfortune of meeting. If u don't want a traumatic birth experience never step in this hospital.

Visited first time and management was really bad. We took appointment one day before but the counter guy despite showing the appointment, marked us as un-booked. We had to wait for 2 hours for our number and management was very unprofessionally in dealing this cashier's mistake.

Aga Khan Hospital has 4 sub branches other than main AKUH all over Karachi that are located in Nazimabad, Karimabad, Garden and Saddar. Since Karimabad branch is near to my home, I always opt to render it's services rather going to main AKUH. The services are equally standardized as per their SOP and Quality standards. The staff is very qualified and they handle the case professionally. The prices here are economical so even lower-middle class gentry can also afford it.

The waiting area lacks pedestal fans. The guard has got 2 fans. One cieling and one pedestal. But he does not allow the families to even move fan towards them. In 39 degrees such is the treatment for attendants. Charges are in 6 digits but facilities are zero in the name of covid SOPs. Need to improve the situation. Waiting time for patients after the given time is atleast 2.5 hours. For this there are no covid SOPs. Pathetic

I visited with Agha Khan Ayesha Manzil for my mother checkup with skin doctor Zulfiqar Ali Khowaja. The nurses responded politely and carefully. The doctor was fine but angry on staff because no nurse was available to call patients and didn't provide him a pen. So, the doctor went and took pen from his car. The doctor prescribed an injection and asked to apply today. I asked the nurse like where we can go inside hospital to apply the injection. It's very Unfortunate that the nurse told me "we cannot apply injection in hospital because only gynae facilitate in gynae department". That's really odd and then we went to Fidai Medical to apply injection. Also, medicines were not available in pharmacy and needed to purchase someone else. One more important thing I have noticed that the male sitting on computer outside of doctor Zulfiqar Ali Khowaja was not professional because he was laughing and make fun with other staff and when asked about information he told me come to me on your turn and again starting fun comments with other staff which surprisingly unprofessional. Agha Khan hospital Ayesha Manzil needs improvement in terms of managements.

I just want to know what is camplain number of aga khan karimabad. I got a call from the hospital and I missed the call when I called back I was asking the operator for the reason of the call and confirmation that what time was my appointment I didn't remember the doctor's. Guy started misbehaving I gave him my number and name that i scheduled the appointment on. He put me on hold for 5 mints he said could not find it. And hanged up the call on my face. If you guys have call center that teach your agents how to behave since you charge alot amount. Its not government hospital its a private hospital we dont puy 100 thousands ruppes to get disrespect. Kindly take a note on that!!!

Subject: Dr. Nelofur Babar – A Horrendous Experience I feel compelled to unleash my frustration after the abysmal encounter my wife and I suffered at the hands of Dr. Nelofur Babar during our recent appointment at Aga Khan Hospital. Despite the so-called privilege of having an appointment scheduled a month in advance, we were subjected to an agonizing 4-hour wait. Dr. Babar's dismissive attitude towards our concerns and queries was beyond disgraceful. Her unprofessional behavior, including crass comments about weight gain, showcased a level of insensitivity that is downright repugnant. The ludicrous policy barring husbands or other women from accompanying patients is nothing short of medieval. This, combined with Dr. Babar's appalling conduct, turned what should have been a medical appointment into a harrowing experience. Dr. Babar's blatant prioritization of quantity over quality, seeing an absurd 50-60 patients a day, only highlights her indifference towards genuine patient care. Despite shamelessly pocketing a hefty fee of 1600Rs, she demonstrated an alarming willingness to be outright rude instead of addressing our legitimate concerns. I implore the hospital administration to address these egregious issues promptly. It is my fervent hope that you take swift action to salvage the tarnished reputation of your institution and spare other unsuspecting patients from the torment we endured. However, my faith is shaken when considering the reality that Dr. Nelofur Babar seems to be the puppet master behind the scenes, pulling the strings of the Agha Khan Karimabad administration and business. The question remains: How can we expect any meaningful action when she is the one orchestrating this chaotic symphony?
