We got scammed today at this clinic. My wife and I booked an appointment with Dr. Shabana Naz for a physiotherapy consultation. They charged us 2,000 for the consultation and on arriving at the clinic the receptionist confirmed that our consultation is with Dr Shabana. When we entered the room we found a bearded guy (appeared inexperienced and amateur) sitting who started the consultation claiming that Dr Shabana will be there in a moment. On us confronting him he finally conceded and accepted that Dr. Shabana Naz only visits Mondays and Tuesdays and allows her office to use her name for consultations rest of the week! Highly unethical, guys please beware!!

DHA Medical Centre in Phase 6 , Karachi has been providing medical facilities in this vicinity for decades. There is an OPD and consultant clinics as well. They need to reduce the charges so as to make it more worthful for every patient visiting this Medical center.

Most of the doctors are experienced and sympathetic but the Defence Authority is so greedy for money that their main focus isn't about providing the best services and experience but how much money they can collect from one patient. There should be 24/7 emergency service as there's none of that in all of DHA and they should provide appointments on the basis of patient's pain-level. If a patient in pain has to wait more than an hour to see the doctor then there's no point in having a doctor there. The staff is really rude and apathetic: they treat the patients with complete disregard and disdain.

I had a very good experience with Dr Shaheen It was my first time . She was calm and patient and answered all my queries. The best part was that none of the staff was walking in the room as happens at other clinics. The only thing they can improve on is to accept credit card along with cash !

My today experience is very worst as I went for my wife blood reports checked by Dr. Samina (Rheumatologist) she charged again to see reports which is totally not as per hospital rules which I confirm by local doctors they admit that we are not charged when someone come for showing reports. As I paid firstly when she only only give list of all 13 blood tests amount of Rs. 17,000/- not even single prescription for cure the illness. Even when I go to Agha Khan Hospital they also not charging when someone came to show reports. This is totally looting patients.

Not upto the mark, no seriousness and no depth diagnostic. Rather shallow checkup and money grabbers. Whats comes to mind when you heard DHA? Yea, More money and less services.

I’m not a resident of DHA (just staying local) but went in emergency due to severe food poisoning. I’m from the U.K. and the clinic facilitated me immediately as I was really unwell. The nurse Fahad was really caring even during early hours of the morning, after he left Nurse Saba took care of me. The process of getting the cannula in my hands was painful though, they were definitely not gentle. I guess that’s how it probably works in Pakistan 😅 my hand is still very sore. I spoke to 2 doctors who were friendly and helped with my pain but didn’t catch their names. The facility was clean and there was frequent cleaning going on. Also wasn’t as expensive as we were expecting it to be. I stayed for around 6 hours on several drips and medications, the total cost was around 18,000PKR. Hope this review helps others in a similar situation.

This review has No intention to disregard anyone, rather to improve and realize a Doctor behavior.I just came across a review regarding the same issue my wife faced in recent past. This is all about Dr Samina Ghaznavi, when someone brings the report what she advised the test earlier, she charges again.( Same happened with another patient I just saw in reviews).Kindly advise all Doctors not to charge again for just the report to show. This is really shameful for anyone where as a Doctor.( This is not for favor rather logical).

An acute disregard in providing medical assistance and consultation. Doctor's incompetent advice and even worse attitude. Had profuse bleeding from organs, which she failed to address and have to find another doctor on a public holiday. Dr. kicked us out of her office and told us to leave, failing to even talk about the relevant issue because she was too greedy and obvious about her greediness. She said I have to make money, I have patients waiting. The sole premise is on profiteering from patients. We visited Dr. Shehla Naseem for consultation in a medical emergency, all we received was an inconsiderate advice and literal exit strategy in these words" I have other patients waiting." My father was concerned as i was suffering from acute pain in the left arm and elevated heartbeat. We wanted the doctor to see us on a priority basis. To do the least which is merely a part of her job she did attend me for a moment for examining the ECG. However, after attending her other patient when I was called for examination in her room her attitude was more of commercial business personnel dressed in a lab coat. As my father had asked her to see me urgently, she started antagonizing and making personal attacks on him; I obviously did not go there to get insulted or have her insult my father for what is a very normal reaction of any concerned father. But she continued being rude and insulting in the casual way which seems she does this daily. To understand my existing condition my father asked her some question to which she replied that" Mein aik hi sawal ka jawab kitni baar doon." She said this 5 times herself instead of giving proper information those 5 times. She was not at all ready to answer our queries and concerns and blatantly said " you can go now, I have other patients waiting." Instead of being satisfied in any way, she hassled us out of her office on a power trip like she is the Prime Minister of Pakistan and we are wasting the 3 minutes she bothered to give in the name of a medical consultation. It seemed we had gone there to be insulted by an obnoxious stranger on a power trip thinking she is the savior of humanity and instead of being paid by us for a service and doing her job, she is getting excited by insulting whomever she can, using her professional position. My father and husband were also there and they ignored her rudeness for the sake of my health and because we were already worried. This is a ruthless attitude not expected of doctors or of any health professional for that matter. No consistency in medical advice, 2 incompetent doctors on duty usually and lack of coordination throughput the entire hospital is obvious. Dr. found it funny people being concerned about their and their kids' health. What a joke.

Dr. Shaila wasn't a very good doctor. She advised tests for typhoid which were out dated. Guess Sindh lab gives commission. There was absolutely no typhoid. She gave the same tests to me and my mother who both had different issues. Don't recommend at all and was extremely rude when confronted again when we went to visit another doctor who helped us resolve the issue.

Poorly managed. The doctors in the clinic change everyday. If you come daily you have to explain the whole story to a completely new doctor. They don't retain any records. Unbelievable. Also the doctors are not considerate but rather have an attitude. Don't need doctors like that treating patients who are already dealing with their own ailments.

Hello my daughter visited this place Saturday and saw the child specialist. I’m very disappointed with the care that she received. First off the doctor was very rude and didn’t allow me to stay with my daughter and told me to move out of the way. The doctor was already wearing a respirator so there was no chance of her catching anything for me. The table where she wanted my daughter to sit was extremely dirty and the sheet hadn’t been changed for months. There were so many little foot prints all over the table sheet and I was very disgusted and I didn’t want my daughter to sit there but she insisted. I am from America and I’m very disappointed with the care received and I would like to have my money back for this appointment. Her diagnosis was also incorrect and I’m very upset. Please explain to me why during something serious like COVID-19 sheets are not being changed between patients especially for vulnerable patients such as children. This is unsanitary and I’m extremely upset and I made my daughter come home and take a bath in Dettol immediately. This should not be something which is taking place and also I think the doctor was very unprofessional.

Overall experience is not good. Better to go at some middle class hospital where doctors and staff behave in a respectable way and things are properly conveyed to satisfy patients and families, and not only focusing to get fee again &again on reports consultation. You can see comments of other visitors below.

Visiting from Chicago, I took my elderly mother to see Dr. Prof. Dr. Samina Ghaznavi and it was horrible. I showed her lab work from the states and local lab work and she was not interested. She was not listening to the patient and was rude. I felt like she was a sales person not a doctor. Waste of money, time, and making my family member uncomfortable.
