Sunehra beach also host more than thousand anglers of Karachi during the fishing season and lucky ones comes back with smiling face and bag full of catch. Hundreds of people departs from Sonera yo witness the underwater beauty of Coral gardens and rare species of fishes by snorkeling and scuba diving around Charna Island. Pakistan has a lot more to offer and it all depends on how intense is your passion to explore.

Great and beautiful place by nature, blue sea clean air, but facilities aren't available by the authorities, without family not allowed but you may enter by "Pakistani Tariqa" 😜. Bring all necessary things with yourself because nothing are available there. Specially if you looking to go to Charna Island than you must have life jackets and medical kit.

Entrance fee is high as compare to other sea sites, water is clean but sand make it sluggish, stones in the sand and sea shore are very sharp they can easily cut your feets if not wearing any shoes or your hands if you fall in water. In evening when water came from the dam side its become warm and small fishes are visible in it.

Has been closed since Ramadan. Please check before going. Only the fishing port is open for small boat rides. Water seems contaminated due to the power plant near by.

Nice beach.. needs to be kept away from all the human waste and pollution.😇

A nice beach, the water here remains warm becasue of hub power plant near by. The beach is clean and there are plenty of huts, also you can go to charna island from here by hiring local fishing boats.

Oh, how do I miss this place! Been there only once - a decade and a half ago, to be precise - but I've never had the same beach experience anywhere else in Sindh!

Overall it is much more better than sea view clift space is open and less polution

This location does not take you to the channel side where boats are present for fishing, it rather takes you to other side of Sunehra which I believe is for water sports activities.

Sadly closed by Pakistan Navy due to security reasons. Beautiful & natural beach, clear water, high mountains for hiking lovers. A must visit place for picnic. Sunehra Beach Karachi (Golden Beach) is a wonderful beach for Families, located near Gaddani, Mubarak village (Goth) Road, Sindh, Pakistan. It is 43.2 Km far from Karachi city and cover the distance about 1 hour 27 min.

I think this place is unique beacuse of Island which vanishes infront of your eyes where you were standing a while ago. Boating and water sport is superb.

So unfortunate that Sunhera Beach is now closed down for public for good.. No announcements were made in this regard... Atleast govt should display a sign from hawk's Bay turn (nisar brohi hotel) so people can be spared from traveling 30-40 min more and shift their plan to any nearby beach... In addition, if you take a turn towards sunhera Beach and Mubarak village, you will find multiple check posts and nakas collecting money and almost all of them are fake check posts run by local villagers..

Charna Island is an egg shaped Island in the middle of the Arabian sea, it's only for you to admire the beauty of it and there is no place to be stationed as it's not a big land and nor does it have a flat surface and to reach to this island you have to go via Divers Reef Karachi. At Charna Island you go do Scuba Diving, snorkelling, Speed boating & water scooter ride which is all organized by Diver’s Reef, They charge around 4,000/ Rs per head. It’s fun and must try experience and its very exclusive.
