The two stars i gave to Shahzad Eye Hospital due to high fees with average services. I visited this hospital for my mother's Cataract surgery and opinion, the receptionist didn't maintain any computerized data, the fees was 2500 (quite expensive even Tabba Heart hospital's senior doctors charge 2000), i had to pay 2500 in this hospital only for normal eye testing, and one minute reading or vision test with one time eye drops. Doctor examined 10 to 15mins. And i an my mother was thinking why we came here? The fees 2500 doesn't justify the services and quality this hospital is providing, even the receptionist wrote 78000 rupees for eye lens like telling me 78 rupees. No explaination, no sitting, nothing. As compared to this, Haji Rang Elahi hospital charges only 800 rupees, a big hospital with separate rooms for testing and very professional equipment, they give proper time for eye testing and vision examination, even for eye drops (they put eye drops 3 to 4 times with gaps), then doctor examines, i don't know about other doctors or perhaps all doctors are good there but i experienced Dr Tanweer Hassan Khan, and i and my mother were very satisfied. The first visit fees was 800 and the second time we visited we paid 400 rupees with proper examination. I would recommend people 400 to 800 rupees fees with best services at Haji Rang Elahi hospital.

The absolutely worst doctor i have ever seen. i have never seen such a rude doctor how can he tell a patient to get out and scream at them this is inhumane and disgusting. Instead of calming a patient down and giving them hope he answers rudely only beacause the patient went to another doctor to get stitches out of his eye which he wouldnt do anyways because hes a retina specialist not corneal. Even during the whole process he rushed through the procedure and dealt with the eye really badly knowing its a sensitive one with history of injury

I visited Shahzad Eye Hospital for consultation with Dr. Harris Shahzad for floaters and flashing issues. He examined the eye and suggested me an emergency surgery at his hospital due to retinal detachment (vitrectomy). Saturday, is the consultation day for the Dr. Harris Shahzad, but he was kind enough to perform the surgery on Saturday after the consulting clinic timings (2.30 pm). He was in his clinic since 8.30 am. His support staff was available and very helpful in all diagnostic and pre-op procedures, They guided me very well and coordinated on timely basis. Also the surgery was performed on the health policy, so the hospital staff was very helpful in getting my emergency approval from the Takaful company. So, I was not required to pay as the staff got approval. The whole experience was very comfortable despite my surgery which was unplanned and was performed in an emergency situation. Alhamdulillah, the desired objectives were achieved through combined procedures. (Pars Plana Vitrectomy (PPV) and Phacoemulsification (Phaco). After, the surgery I was not required to buy any medicine or eye drops from outside. All medications provided with complete details and follow up instructions. I am thankful to Dr. Harris Shahzad and his team for establishing this wonderful hospital, which can handle such an eye emergency situations. Jazāk Allāhu Khayran

I feel compelled to leave a detailed review to help confused patients with RETINAL DETACHMENT. As i was also confused and worried. My mother has undergone a vitrectomy surgery for retinal detachment at Shahzad Eye Hospital done by Dr. Haris shahzad. The retina was almost 60% detached and there were several tearing as well, along with some other complications. Surgery went very well , treated with upmost respect, everything explained nicely. The hospital staff provided professional and courteous care. She is satisfied and her vision has started to improve. Apart form his professional excellence, Dr. Haris shahzad also maintain a very good atmosphere for patients as he is a caring, smiling, kind and energetic person. Personally I would recommend Shahzad eye hospital over Ag** Kh** and other big names. Specially for RETINAL DETACHMENT. Thanks.

My wife was having a very complicated cataract and some very senior drs had refused to operate her due to fear of retinal detachment. Dr. Rehman Siddiqui operated her both eyes and I want to acknowledge that he is the best Surgeon. We are satisfied and recommend him.

no doubt in terms of the treatment! But I must say worst experience in terms of time management, it is now my 4th or 5th visit not a single day they have followed the given appointment timings!!! today my Father's appointment was at 9 am and after 10 am they have called, what is the point of appointment then! there must be first come first serve basis if you can not follow the time. I my self have taken off from office only for this issue! hope you guys read and resolve this huge problem. People suffer from this!

My mother was consultanting Dr Shahzad and one day she need checkup because of blood tissue in eyes and what receptionist said dr is not available for a month how can u expect a eye patient emergency to wait for a month cant dr see her for few minutes even these of u r going to salon n request for emergency helo they do n this being eye clinic cant help patient,I will not suggest anyone as i don't prefer a doctor whom u need to wait for a month for eyes check n there is no emergency checkup Giving expensive test before check up is just a smart n old way to make money. I called in around 9 to schedule an appointment for my daughter and they received the phone three times and before I could say something and without any hello or greeting just hung up the phone. Called for half an hour and the number is still busy. I think they put the phone down. Poor customer service.

Dr Rehman Siddiqui is one of the best Vitreo-Retinal surgeon in Pakistan, patients came here from all over the country, an Elite class doctor knows very well how to diagnose and treat complex eye problems of posterior chamber, highly recommended for complicated cases, but yes waiting time is 2-3 hours and they doesn't have proper sitting arrangements for patients and their attendants, morever, no card payment facility, last but not least their optometrist are also not good, they have 2 optometrists both are lazy and dont concentrate on patients while testing their vision, both of them should be replaced, I would suggest them they should look into this matters..

Good hospital specially Dr. M.H. Shahzad experienced and soft spoken.He has done my mother's right eye cataract surgery two week ago. Staff is also very cooperative and well behaved 5/5. Highly recommended for eye surgeries and checkup.

For a private setup this is a great little hospital. They have great doctors even doctors from places like Southcity Hospital and AKUH practice here. They do phaco/lens replacement and laser procedures. They are very well equipped and their visual testing lab is good.

Allah SWT has blessed Dr. Shahzad with shifa in his hands along with a kind attitude toward his patients. Unlike some other renowned doctors in the city, he doesn't seem to be in a hurry when examining his patients. He'd give you time and answer your queries even if they're too naive. I had cataract surgery done in my left eye while the one in the right eye will be done in a few days in Sha Allah. It was an excellent experience. It's so satisfying and reassuring when after examining you or after the surgery he'd give comments like "very good progress" or "buhat achi surgery ho gaee". At his age, his stamina is unbelievable. Three days a week, he'd do surgeries in the first half and examine so many patients in the second half without getting tired - at least that's what seems to others! Given the economic situation in the country and the quality of treatment he provides, his charges are reasonable. May Allah SWT give him the energy and the health to continue serving his patients, aamiyn.

So, I was a working student back in 2021. During oct 2021, I experienced anxiety attacks. Due to the extreme stress, I felt a lot of pressure under my eye. My condition got better but the condition under my eye did not. At first, I thought it was a skin issue as i suffer from seborrheic dermatitis. I took appointments with the 'best' dermatologists in town, but they gave me the usual prescription and my condition was not getting better. And the pressure was severe under the eye. I was confused. So I took an appointment with Dr. Harris Shahzad. The doctor was very kind. But he told me I have a bacterial infection under my eyes. Also told me not to worry, as the condition would improve and I was assigned a few antibacterial creams. A month passed by, no improvement. I took the appointment again. Same antibacterial stuff was given to me. (It is to be kept in mind that I was a working student and spending all the money on the cure by by monthly salary). My condition remained the same. I went there the third time after two months. The doctor finally told me I was fine, in fact, I didn't even have the bacterial infection in the first place! I clearly remembering complaining to him about my condition and he clearly said "You are not sick". I was quite confused as my condition was not getting better. Then during the same time period I went to a neurologist who told me my condition was due to extreme stress and anxeity (no skin condition or bacterial infection). A few months later, my condition got better, Alhamdulillah. I just have one complain to Dr. Harris: If i wasn't sick in the first place (not having the bacterial infection), why was i told i have one in the first place. I spent almost half of my monthly salary on taking eye appointments and buying medicines (10k). Then Im suddenly told i dont have the infection, when this wasn't the case in the first place! (I was told i had the infection and was given antibiotocs! The experience with Dr. Harris increased my stress and proved to be a great financial burden on me. Dr. Harris is an amazing person, my encounters with him were really cordial and friendly, but unfortunately my overall medical experience was quite bad.
