Wow .... what a great experience today I took my parents for Covid vaccination and I was impressed to see arrangements there. Staff is very Cooperative and courteous they are managing the whole process systematically and no hustle bustle at all. You can bring your elderly people here for vaccination without any worries. An average local neighbourhood hospital with basic medical care facility. Dr. Rifat wassiullah (peads) is an experienced and fine doctor. Forget to mention it does have an Emergency care unit too.

It was a very bad experience, the staff is very untrained specially Dr. Shahnaz of Gynecology is an extremely rude woman. No care for the patient When I asked about the patient condition , Because she was unconscious after the c section for the last eight hours instead of telling, she was told very arrogantly, I am a doctor, not a servant when I tried to make her understand how you are talking and she threatened us that I will discharge your patient now.

I recently had the opportunity to visit this hospital and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with their services. The laboratory and radiology departments were equipped with state-of-the-art technology and the staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I also had to make use of the emergency and intensive care unit services, and the doctors and nurses were attentive and responsive, making me feel comfortable during a stressful time. The pharmacy was well-stocked and the turnaround time for prescription filling was quick. Additionally, I had a great experience with the gynecologist services. Overall, I would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of medical care. The staff is professional, courteous, and dedicated to providing top-notch care to their patients.

Very difficult to reach them on the phone. When they do answer there is no extension for OPD appointments. A hospital this size should have more than a single landline (their line is busy all the time) If they have more lines it doesn't indicate on the web site. I am writing after trying to call them 8 times for a follow up appointment. We will learn more as we go.

Highly unprofessional staff and customer care ,I called for an appointment with psychiatric doctor Mr. Inam and opreator told me no need for appointment you can walk in, the consulting time was 7 pm to 9pm, we reached the hospital at 6.30 pm and the doctor receptionist told us why you came without appointment, we told him the operator told us no need appointment, he told us wait one hr. there are 10 patient before you, we wait for 1 hr. then he told us still there are 5 more patient, we told him to give us appointment , the receptionist was not having any clue for giving appointment, he just wrote our name on a paper, thats all. we lost 2 hrs and drive from malir without any result. so disorganised

Regarding COVID Vaccine, timing is 7a.m -1 p.m. You have to reach before 7 a.m. as there is a long waiting and you have to wait in the queue and you will get a token at around 8:00 a.m.. Only 200 people are getting vaccination each day. Overall things were managed properly.

Had my first child there honestly it depends on the person how you treat others you will be treated the same. Dr Shenaz bibi is one of the best doctor for gyne she is so kind and knowledgeable that she will clear all the doubts. There was once Doctor For psychiatric but after government take over he's not there anymore he was the best. Receptionist are great specially Sajjad Bhai he's great person he helped alot during an emergency. The environment is good and hospital is clean and staff is also good.

The hospital is top notch and just like hospitals that are abroad. I recently visited it. It is neat and clean alongside being very well managed. I would highly recommend others to visit it.

Big thanks to Doctor Zakia and to the staff at Reception, especially brother Ovais Rana. Always patient with us and answers all our questions and guides us the right way. Doctor Zakia looked after my wife throughout the pregnancy and delivery. Can't thank them enough and also the other staff. We had three minor issues, all of which can be easily remedied. First the staff on the second floor for private rooms was often busy and they took some time attending the patient, they should raise their fees and hire more nurses, often there was only one on duty and she was doing everything she could to handle probably a dozen patients. They are only human too, so management should help them. Second thing is also easily-fixable, which is cleaning. The private room we had had tiny bug/cockroach infestation, and even though the staff was dutiful in cleaning the room every couple hours, it will take a deep cleaning to fix the infestation. Third, the toilet seat in the private room was uncomfortable for the patient, it caused severe back pain. Otherwise, the room was quite good and comfortable, air conditioning, fridge, freezer, microwave, washroom was all in good working order. They have a prayer room which is very convenient for Muslims, women side partitioned in the back as it should be. Jazakallahu khayr to everyone who helped us on our journey to parenthood.

I have visited today 1st time and pleased to find that all the staff were cooperative and vaccination process completed with in half an hour, location of Modern Hospital is in heart of district at main University Road Gulshan e Iqbal near Safari Park Karachi.

It's not a big Hospital but looking clean and nice, this Hospital is under Sindh Government, now a days public came here for COVID-19 vaccination, it's about 700 - 800 persons daily vaccinated. Stuff is pretty good but little bit lazy. No timing and other precautionary measure written on any notice board,( i.e sugar & blood pressure patients) when people reach at vaccination point then Doctor check such patients and advise to sit 20 - 30 more mints and it is not easy to settle down the required parameters at that moment, it's a time consuming method. I experience yesterday as I reached 1 O,Clock and finished at 5.35. This is what happens to me and other some peoples.

Covid Vaccination Second dose: Went again there for 2nd dose. They start giving token around 7 and there are only 200 tokens. Highly inadequate and extremely disappointed. Lots of people had to go back to home as tokens were finished! Government thinks 200 tokens per day is adequate for a hospital that is in the middle of the city! Ramzan timings are 8 am to 1 pm. Friday Saturday off. First dose: Went there to vaccinate my parents against Covid. Timings are 9AM-3PM. Whole procedure was fast and smooth hardly had to wait for 30 mins as there were less number of people.

Today 6th NOV 2021. Emergency Doc went to Asar namaz and came back after 1.5hr. is it you call emergency???? The service was good in their initial days, now theyare pathatic. The physiotherapist they have is a fraud. They charge 1500 rupees per session and commited 6-7. We have gone through with 12 sessions after that he has given some scary statement for my father's health and advice us to go to some other docter. We were happy initially considering it a good hospital but i will not abvise any one to visit them.

I went along with my kid today evening at around 1700 H. As my kid described his condition, the lady duty doctor started to make fun contineously as he decribed his condition alongwith the ward boys. The ward boys also started to make fun as he described his condition. And they all started to laugh including the lady doctor. This pathetic and condescending behaviour is unacceptable. It shows the mentality of doctors and ward staff for the less priviledged patients that come in for a govt. subsidised checkup.

Worst hospital emergency, kindly avoid going into emergency as they have no doctors available and nurses in emergency are rude and disrespectful and they don’t know anything apart from taking about biryani other stuff, mareez ki koi fikar nahi. I will never visit such a pathetic hospital again, only building looks good, rest is just horrific. Nurse name “Daulat” was the worst! BTW, they are also evading taxes by taking only cash, if you require emergency then kindly go somewhere else!

Ran into Emergency OPD around 3:30 am on 30th January 2024 (Tuesday) with extremely high fever and flu. The guard being kind guided us into the female OPD room and asked us to wait for the doctor. After waiting for about 5 minutes, a lady doctor (don’t know the name) came in and asked us to leave the room in a way no educated and ethical doctor would. And as we informed her that it was the guard who brought us here, she still asked us to leave murmuring something for the guard and us. It is shocking to see that someone with this precious profession and high level of education can still lack basic manners and ethics. As far for my knowledge, The Modern Hospital is semi-government. Hence, our government should at least be hiring people who can afford to honour their profession.

Visited the hospital during late hours and the ICU staff took care very well. All they were well mannered and have professional attitude. Especially thanks to Doctor Sana who handled every single patient very efficiently.

Reasonable fees , experienced doctors, good treat everything was just 👍👍👍

Dr Raana best gynaecologist. Environment and staff is super there. Also very reasonable.

It's a good hospital. It facilitates patients with experienced and professional doctors, specialists, and surgeons belonging to almost all types of diseases. The fee is just average as per locality and machinery equipped there. But overall experience was always good even some of my relatives have worthful thoughts too about this hospital.

Better experience with modern hospital, but there is no availability of ultrasound in after 10:00pm, and discount policy for only parchi wale persons.

Unprofessional and careless staff. I took my father to the emergency room, where the staff inserted the cannula into his hand incorrectly and in an unhygienic manner. After one day, my father developed a high fever, and his hand became swollen and infected and he's also diabetic patient he was already unwell and now he's also infected due to careless treatment by the staff of Modern Hospital.

Currently waiting for the ENT doctor the security set the time of the doctor is 12 and now 12:30 and the doctor is still not here the situation of the patient is bad in no one is here to tackle that everyone is waiting for the ENT doctors and the other paramedic staff it was the first time to visit this hospital and even so it is my last
