3rd floor of civil hospital (emergency ) of SUIT. Recently we have to experience the quality of services given BY SUIT. An AV fistula (AVF) was made on a patient name ********* Age 63 yrs dated 12 April 2021. who himself is a donor of suit .the procedure was satisfying and the patient returned home the same day. However on Sunday 18/April/2021 swelling started in the (AVF) followed by pain, we visited NATIONAL MEDICAL CENTER and were directed to the place where AV fistula (AVF) was made in the meantime the hand had swelled three times the size of the normal and uncontrollable pain has started however we were directed to 3rd floor of civil hospital (emergency ) of SUIT. There were 4 female doctors occupying the seats doing nothing on the counter and a few nurses roaming around, they told us to wait for the doctor as he is already occupied, after waiting for one hour the doctor who was in theater goun(green color) DR.BABER came and told us to wait. Passing one and half hour was reached we insisted to look at the patient who was in an unconscious position due to the extreme pain and surprisingly DR.BABER sent us to the operation theatre (OT)to get a bandage done ( a simple procedure which I can perform at home) we were surprised to return to the emergency asking the doctor about life-saving pain and expecting any IV to relieve the pain and were scolded by DR.BABER that we are not waiting and getting heasty , as 2 hours has passed in this time. DR.BABER main attention was on the patient's young wife who was suffering from a UTI infection, as he was busy flirting with her while many patients were qued up for his response. after 3 torching hours we were told to take NUBERAL FORTH and water has filled in the harm due to which there is paid, nothing serious so don't worry. suffering all night with agonizing pain we rushed to the place where AV fistula (AVF) was made in SUIT , they operated on the hand and came to know that the AV fistula (AVF) was busted and they had to remove a huge amount of blood cloth and informed us that this problem if not attended rapidly could have resulted in the amputation of the hand. Being this incident circulated on SOCIAL MEDIA a lot of donours are questioning the supervision of emergency of SUIT the negligence of DR.BABER would have caused the patient his hand , during the 3 hours we stayed there one of the patient expired also . we request the senior authority to look into this matter and restrict doctors like BABER to ruin the dignity and reputation of SUIT

واذا مرضت فھو یشفین۔ Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation known as SIUT. It is the real gift of Almighty Allah, Dr. Adeeb Rizvi sb, his tram, Sindh Government and trustees/donors to people of Pakistan. Health services at Zero cost are unmatchable. Patients are receiving the same Treatment as any World's best health institute. Patient Curing, Hospital cleaning, Health environment, No Charges to Patients, Zero cost of Medicine and other procedures makes SIUT the remarkable institute. Last week I visited my friends they were admitted in the hospital. I observed world class treatment to patients without any discrimination. They came from Mehar Taluka. Their patients are getting sound health and treatment at SIUT. It is requested to support SIUT and regard it's administrators, staff and every contributor.

Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation ( SIUT ) is located in Nanak Wada , adjacent to Main M. A. Jinnah Road , Karachi , near Jama Cloth Market , behind Civil Hospital , Karachi. It is one of the best Renal Transplant Hospital in Karachi. Many Kidney Patients from various Parts of Pakistan come to this Hospital seeking Medical treatment for the Kidney and Liver related diseases. Since it runs through charitable trust and Sindh Government is Patronizing the same so the treatment at SIUT is free of cost . Pathetic behaviour of staff and specially security staff. They are downright hostile towards patients and attendants. I would request SIUT management to train them if not, at least tame them. Kahan say pakar k latay hain inko pata nhi.

Suggestions/Complaints: * Waiting area for patients and attendants not available. * Some of the doctors/nurses/security are too rude, while some are too helpful and always available to help and answer any query. * Not much information about the patient case is given to the attendant, attendant should find the doctor and ask them. * During the round time there is no waiting area available for the attendants, security staff behavior toward the attendants are too rude. * No green area available inside the hospital, this may help patients mentally recover soon. * Attendants should be allowed all the time with their patients in order to be fully aware of their condition and talk to the doctors on their behalf, specially during the round time. * Stressful environment for the both the patient and attendant. * Bathroom conditions are too bad plus not enough bathrooms are available. Overall their free healthcare service for the needy peoples is highly appreciated. Hope these positive changes are brought into the hospital ASAP.

It must be improved. The bathrooms are not cleaned in OPD 14. I noticed Rude behavior of staff. Only one lady doctor was available for check up while checking in chest ward. Most of the staff in OPD 14 were not present today. Dated : Tuesday, 13th September 2022

This hospital is one of the most prolific hospitals i have been to in my entire life. The management, the staff, the nursing staff, evrery one from bottom to top is dedicated and loves to do their job. There are few areas of public concern though, There is no parking place for tge visitors and the attendants of patients. The road outside main gate is worn out, damaged, still is busy like any other road. Road space is also not enough to maintain traffic flow. Alloting appointment no's to patients also needs be reviewed. There is a long que in the morning when people gather to receive appointment no's. Hence, it takes a lot time in the process.

Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) is a beacon of hope and compassion in the healthcare landscape, offering a remarkable service by providing free medical treatment to those in need. Situated in Karachi, this welfare hospital exemplifies the true essence of healthcare for all, regardless of financial constraints. SIUT's commitment to urological and transplantation excellence is evident in its cutting-edge medical facilities, skilled medical professionals, and advanced technology. Despite the vast patient load, the hospital manages to maintain high standards of care, ensuring that every patient receives personalized attention and treatment. The hospital's philosophy of free treatment is a testament to its dedication to the well-being of the community. By catering to the medical needs of the underprivileged, SIUT not only saves lives but also upholds the values of empathy and social responsibility. Furthermore, SIUT's impact extends beyond medical care, as it engages in medical research, education, and community awareness programs. The holistic approach reflects its mission to uplift healthcare standards and promote preventive measures. Though the hospital's services are commendable, long waiting times for appointments and treatments can be a challenge due to the high demand. Additionally, continuous public support is crucial to sustaining this noble initiative. In essence, Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) stands as a shining example of humanitarian healthcare, offering a lifeline to those in need while exemplifying the potential of healthcare institutions to create lasting positive change in society.

Sindh’s hospital has actually retained its excellency over the period of time. They are popular for curing all the diseases related to urology with trained staff and doctors who are extremely professional and supportive at the same time. They initiated the transplant thing and this Center in specific is known for transplants and all other follow ups for it.

This hospital building construction is goo but service is very poor this place not good for everyone is right for unemployed people who have time to spend all day in this hospital just for a checkup. I waited for more than an hour for the doctor but my number did not come. And peon told me you have to wait more 3/4 Hours so I decided to leave the place without checkup. I suggest the Karachites Please see a private hospital so that you don't have to wait for all day for a checkup.

Although this Hospital has qualified doctor, staff and advance equipment most important free Treatment for needy person. But be careful with some of the doctor are hell interested or seriously checking the patients in OPDs & Emergency, they are mostly insulting the patients or their companions. And forcing patients for operation without even listen or giving proper details. Same like other Govt hospitals this hospital is badly managed and it will take your all day time from Token to OPD Lab and other check up 12-16 hours. Hospital has no proper sitting arrangements and you will find patients and family laying outside footpath.

I have no words to explain how brilliant the service is here in SIUT. A great initiative with a clear goal and a competent team for execution. There is no discrimination in level of service as it doesn't matters who steps in they will receive the best treatment in the region. I have been suffering from the last 4 years and the best urologist and labs from UK weren't able to trace the problem but here in SIUT i was diagnosed in matter of hours due to the level of experience of the great team. This great project is alive because of the kind and humble people around the world who donate and save million of lives. Please donate and save lives as this project must go on forever.

Hospital is fully equipped with advanced technology and doctors are highly trained . But unfortunately some doctors and 80 % lower staff are rude . Their behavior is very bad with patients and attendants . Guards , staff and doctors literally insult the attendants . They don’t have any scintilla of ethics . Moreover, no parking and waiting area facility for patients . My three stars are only for the hospital and equipments.

Senior doctors won't even talk to me, and others don't know what to do. I've been bringing my patient here for four months, and their condition is getting worse by the day. I approach the so-called doctors, but they just listen and ignore me. Some tell me to take tests, but when the results come back, they don't tell me what's wrong. My patient is losing weight so fast, but they don't know why. Instead of referring me to someone senior, they just ignore it and are so rude. It's been four months, and I've never met a senior doctor. I don't even know where they are. The staff and system are the worst. People who can't afford private treatment are going through a lot. I don't know who to talk to!
