Well we’re in 21st century but they are still lives in 18th century. They procedures should more advanced & paperless. In the night time only few staff are working this cause delays in checkin checkout & passengers also frustrated. Now a days they are asking PCR test from outside which is unnecessary if they are taking rapid test in airport. Well fro rapid test you must reach airport at least 5 hours before your flight & rapid test booth is on arrivals area so you must go upstairs for rapid test the reports will come after 2 hours & they do have card payment service as well which is good 👍🏻

Spacious and clean airport. Friendly and professional staff at check-in desk. Customs clearance is fast. People with weapons scare, especially those tourists who have never seen it before. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants and cafes where one could wait for the check-in. If you are traveling with an infant, please be aware that airport does not have a baby room where you can breastfeed.

Jinnah International Airport, Karachi is one of the best Airport in Pakistan. It is providing quality services to all the Passengers flying from Pakistan or landing at this Airport. It has adopted all the features of an International Airport and the standard is matchless. It has short term and long term parking facilities for all the passengers or their family members. There are many shops inside the main building , providing an opportunity to all the passengers to do last minute shopping or buy some gifts for the relatives. There are food out lets , serving , tea , coffee and cold drinks along with the snacks. There is a Money exchange Kiosk for travelers to manage their foreign currency requirement. There is a famous sweet shop offering a wide range of traditional sweets. A famous Book shop is selling a wide range of books . They are providing free internet facility in the departure lounge. They have well maintained sitting areas and one can witness the quality of cleanliness at this Airport. Over all it has been a very pleasant experience for me whenever I used this Airport , I am sure you will also endorse my opinion.

Great experience I'd say. It's spacious and clean and the layout ensures easy navigation. What I despised about the lounge is that there's NO socket to plug the phone in. What year are we in? Such a huge letdown. My phone ran out of juice and had nowhere to charge. Pathetic!

The most busiest airport of Pakistan is Jinnah terminal of Karachi. The first to be built among the latest of airports of country, although not so big in area covered by passenger terminal but still has big covered area al together. Proper parking facility with high security maintenance across the vicinity.

Small airport with almost no modern facilities but experienced yet lazy staff. Very limited seating capacity with no proper food or beverages option. No charging stations, old washrooms, poor lighting setup and runways are almost of their dead age.

Unfortunately I was born in Canada. I could speak a little Urdu. The little I could speak didn’t seem to be appreciated. I had to wait twice in line for a CoVid test because my documents from Canada didn’t seem to matter or nobody explained that you had to write on a small slip of paper. In immigration I had to wait in 3 different line ups because nobody wanted to speak or help an East Indian tourist. Then I was told to wait in a different line because I already had an E visa and fast track with all my documents uploaded. (nobody cared). A customs experience that took 2 1/2 hours while others got through in 30 min. While Canadians and Americans of East Indian origin just roaming until we could find the right line up. I hope this is not what Pakistan is about?

Very nice, comfortable, clean airport. There are two lounges, medium size, about $34 USD per person. The airport has mithai, Rehmet e Shereen shop for a last minute sweets fix and gifts. A handful full of souvenirs shops as well, basic enough to get last minute traditional Pakistani style souvenirs and gifts for colleagues and friends. Leaving the airport is always a bit chaotic at immigration, although the lines move pretty fast. Coming to the airport is usually fast, or has been past few years I have travelled from here. You don’t need 3 hours, 2 hours is enough to be on time to get everything done, including getting some chai at the airport:)

What a nice airport: clean, functional, easy to navigate. It is also spacious and staff are nice, despite security needing a little more organization, as it felt chaotic. The architecture is really nice too. ✈️️

Karachi is world’s 7th largest and Pakistan’s 1st largest city. Airport is not up to the mark but better than other airports of Pakistan. I ll rank it 2nd in Pakistan after new Islamabad airport. However flow has been designed carefully. I would like to see it competing with international airports some day inshAllah. Yes !! It has very famous Mcdonalds outlet in its parking and people visit there for food only as well beside visiting airport specifically. Cleanliness is better as compare to rest of karachi areas. But need much improvements plus you dont find a lot of facilities here with respect to shopping etc. There is no duty free concept and thats what our airports lack badly.

Airport is beautiful, facilities are also good. Super stores and food corners are expensive. Parking and sitting arrangements are good enough. Sometimes the luggage arrival is a bit late, to be improved. Taxi services are available 24/7.

It could be better. The cooling of central AC were slightly dead. The management should take a good look at Dubai or Jeddah international airport and learn what creative design and architecture they can put in this Karachi Aiport. Karachi is the hub of Pakistan, the highest tax payer city, don't know where they put all these money.

Built in the 90s, was state of the art international airport and has been kept pretty much in check but feels very small as compared to if you are flying in from Dubai or Doha airports. We have a dedicated open prayer area and few fast food and coffee options along with duty free and gift shops. Oh and one pharmacy store 🙂

When foreigners arrive Karachi, be prepared. It is messy, especially at the immigration area. The domestic terminal got no one checking my passport, can just walk all the way to the plane, a bit strange.

Hands down, one of the best and the most efficient airports in Pakistan. Not so much compared to international airports, but for its age and it being in Pakistan, this is a good airport. It is much more lively, vibrant, and efficiently managed than all other airports of Pakistan. Its location is also a convenience for travellers, being almost centrally located in the city. Food options are good in both domestic and international lounges. Domestic side has premium lounges from Alfalah and UBL bank.

I had an incredibly pleasant experience at Jinnah Airport Karachi. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unexpectedly fast immigration process. The cleanliness of the toilets was impressive, adding to the overall positive atmosphere. A highlight of my visit was discovering the Rehmat-e-Shireen sweet shop inside the airport. The prices were reasonable, and the quality of their products was truly remarkable. What stood out even more was the exceptional friendliness and engagement of the salesperson. From start to finish, my journey was filled with positivity in every aspect. However, it's worth noting that the lack of upkeep in certain areas, particularly the exterior And interior of the building, detracts from what used to be the most beautiful airport in Pakistan.

Jinnah International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Pakistan. It is located in Karachi, the country's financial and commercial capital. The airport is named after Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan. JIAP is a hub for several international and domestic airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), Air Indus, Shaheen Air, and airblue. The airport has two terminals, one for international flights and one for domestic flights. The international terminal is relatively new and has a number of amenities, including a business class lounge, a duty-free shop, and a currency exchange. The domestic terminal is older and smaller, but it still has the basic amenities that passengers need. The airport is well-connected to the city by road and rail. There are several bus and taxi services that run between the airport and the city center. The airport is also served by the Karachi Circular Railway. Overall, Jinnah International Airport is a modern and efficient airport that provides a good experience for passengers. However, there are a few areas where the airport could be improved. For example, the waiting areas in the international terminal can be crowded and noisy. Additionally, the airport could offer more dining options. **Here are some pros and cons of Jinnah International Airport:** **Pros:** * Modern and well-maintained facilities * Good connectivity to the city * Wide range of airlines operating * Competitive prices **Cons:** * Crowded and noisy waiting areas * Limited dining options * Lack of signage in some areas **Overall, Jinnah International Airport is a good option for travelers flying to or from Karachi. However, it is important to be aware of the few areas where the airport could be improved

I came to this airport to drop and receive family, and have to say the customer care isn't a known word here, no seats for the people in waiting except for few far away just Infront of ge domestic arrival flights, none for the international arrivals or departure, if you do want to sit you need to find a place very far from/at where you drop/receive family or friends, would suggest to atleast arrange some sitting arrangements not Infront but near the waiting area

In a limited resources a very well organized Airport, a rapid COVID test facility available at departure and Arrival, Marhaba and CIP lounge are worth to spend time before departure. Don't forgot to grab authenticated Pakistani sweets from Rehmat-e-Shireen and Pakistani tin pack food from Lal Qila Outlets I'm front of CIP lounge. A small duty free shop is also serving passengers

It pains me to say this, but this is probably the worst international airport in the world. Just have a look at these scenes to get the gravity of it all. This is not a war torn city. And this horrific situation happened just because the CM was conveniently passing through, to the utter inconvenience of the masses who elected him. Deplorable.

some tips for navigating Jinnah International Airport in Karachi, Pakistan: Arrival and Departure: Arrive at the airport well in advance of your flight's departure time, especially for international flights. It's recommended to be there at least 3 hours before your flight. Check-In: If you haven't already checked in online, locate your airline's check-in counter to complete the process. Make sure to have all necessary documents, including your passport and boarding pass. Security: Be prepared for security checks. Have your ID and boarding pass ready, and follow security procedures. Luggage: Ensure your baggage meets weight and size requirements, and be mindful of any restricted items in your luggage. Shopping and Dining: Jinnah Airport offers a variety of shops and dining options. Explore these if you have time before your flight. Currency Exchange: If you need local currency (Pakistani Rupees), you can find currency exchange counters or ATMs at the airport. Mobile Connectivity: Consider purchasing a local SIM card at the airport for mobile data and communication during your stay in Pakistan. Transportation: Arrange transportation to your destination in advance. Taxis and rideshare services are available at the airport. Language: While Urdu is the official language, many airport staff speak English, so communication shouldn't be a major issue. Remember that airport procedures can change, so it's always a good idea to check with your airline or the airport's official website for the most up-to-date information before your journey. Safe travels!

The only airport in Karachi and probably one of the biggest airports in Pakistan. The airport has a rush of passengers and visitors almost every day and maintaining the area to meet the needs of everyone is truly a daunting task. While there are areas of improvements, one cannot ignore the services and maintenence the staff does daily. The washrooms are mostly cleaned and there are cleaners regularly mopping the floor. The canteens and shops there have ample options of food to pick from and the staff is helpful despite the crowd and several tasks at hand. The international area is taken better care of than the domestic one, however, that shouldn't be the case.

Beautiful Airport, Neat and Clean, one of few airports in the wotl with free luggage trolley as compared to western world and few other countries where nothing is free. So you can carry your luggage easily. Departure is from the 2nd floor and arrival on the ground floor. Also there are chairs outside departure area which is rare like in Sabiha Gockcen airport, Istanbol, Turkey there was no place to sit.

Jinnah International Airport, situated in Karachi, Pakistan, serves as a crucial gateway for travellers entering and leaving the country. As a neutral observer, my experience at the airport was a mix of positive and negative aspects. On the positive side, the airport's size and modern infrastructure are commendable. Its spacious terminals accommodate a large number of passengers, providing ample seating areas and several duty-free shops, restaurants, and cafes. The availability of free Wi-Fi and charging stations is a convenience for travellers needing to stay connected during layovers or delays. Furthermore, the airport staff I encountered were generally polite and helpful. They appeared to be well-trained in managing various situations and attended to queries promptly. The airport's security measures were also noticeable, which is reassuring considering the current global climate. However, some aspects left room for improvement. For instance, the signage within the airport needs enhancement, as navigating through the terminals can be somewhat confusing for first-time visitors. Additionally, more visible information desks or interactive kiosks could be implemented to aid travellers in finding the necessary information. The cleanliness of the facilities also deserves attention. While certain areas were well-maintained, others seemed to require more frequent cleaning. This could create a better overall impression and ensure a pleasant experience for all passengers. Moreover, the immigration and customs process at Jinnah International Airport can be time-consuming during peak hours, leading to longer waiting times. Streamlining these processes could significantly enhance the airport's efficiency and make travelling through it a smoother experience. In conclusion, Jinnah International Airport boasts several positive attributes, such as its modern facilities and courteous staff. However, there are areas where improvement is needed, such as wayfinding, cleanliness, and efficiency during immigration procedures. Addressing these aspects would undoubtedly elevate the overall airport experience and leave a more positive impression on both domestic and international travellers.

Jinnah International Airport is the largest and busiest airport in Pakistan. It is located in Karachi, the country's commercial capital. The airport has been praised for its modern facilities and efficient operations. However, it has also been criticized for its crowded terminals and long security lines. Pathetic . For an international Airport , Pakistan really doesnt care about either the cleanliness or the smell. It reeks this weird smell when you get here. They have a very small duty free area. You get double checked by very weird officers. Even if you exiting the airport they check your luggage . So annoying.

It’s smaller compared to other commercial airports but it supports good number of travelers. The staff is friendly and the wheelchair users can special attention right from the entrance to the aircraft. At times, the check-in counters become very crowded so it’s advisable to reach early.

Round Trip from ISB to KHI via Airsial. The first passenger terminal complex at the Jinnah International Airport was opened in 1992. The general construction contract was awarded to Sogea Construction. Terminal features The airport has a seven-level main passenger terminal with a total floor space of 115,000m² and capacity to handle up to 40,000 passengers a day.
