I am from Lahore and I ordered some sweets, and other items for my sister who is living in Karachi. I appreciate their service and concerned behavior for the order. Sweets were extremely good and of exceptional quality. Packing was nicely done. And delivered timely in good manner. Thanks to the owner who was polite and helpful. I recommend it to all those living in the city or outside if they are looking for such great quality sweets delivered to their loved ones. 👍

Ok it's mehmood sweets but i dont know why they charge for being mehmood sweets. Like they are super expensive. You can get a kg of sweets from other bakeries of the same standard for 200 to 300 rupees less price. For example nowadays a kg of sweets is 1200 rupees mostly. But it's mehmood so it's 1500. That's a super negative.

Sadly the standard and quality has deteriorated drastically over time whilst their prices are highest in all of the city. They used to be my fav mithayi shop, however a recent experience had me highly disappointed. Got a kg normal mix mithayi for a whopping Rs. 1300 / kg. Halwas were above Rs. 1,600 however the quality and standard was nowhere near the price they charged. The mithayi looked and tasted not very fresh. Halwas were very good but you can get the same taste from Rahmat e Shireen, Asr e Shireen and other shops for a lower price. Overall everything seemed over priced and not very fresh. Milk bottle that I got rotten in two days. Not visiting again.

Consistently keeping up the Name and quality from Decades at waterpump, Halwajat & sweets are thier staple, Almost all items are tasty, though they are a bit high on price as compared to thier competitors in the Area, but they deliver Value for the money in terms of taste & quality and most importantly hygien. Other items like honey desi ghee products are also available.

Very rude behaviour. Not taking 75 note. Too much expensive. Some items are very best in quality but further are average. We have several options for sweet. They need to improve the behaviour of their staff.

This is the best sweets shop in Karachi and I have known it since around 1970s. They have done to maintain their quality.

It's not amongst THE BEST sweets in town but raised its prices like crazy. The near best competitor I.e. Rehmat e shireen is selling at 1450 per kg whereas, Mehmoods prices per kg is approx 2000 Rs

  • 1/5 tahir k. 1 year ago on Google
Very very expensive, quality is not that superior as it is public minds. Rehmat-Shireen have far more quality stuff, at much less prices. I don't know why people are so keen about Mehmood.

A little something special.about their Rass gulla type of sweets. A wide variety and each one of them has its own unique flavor.

Been shopping here for over 30 years. Everything thing here is delicious, fresh and clean. Even the employees are dressed properly. Reason for giving 3 stars for atmosphere is because the shop was very hot when I entered on a December 7th night. Outside was much cooler than shop. Management needs to fix that issue.

Although the shop is much famous and recommended by friends but found it much way expensive. Items are not worth the value of money they are asking. You will loose 1800 PKR for kg of mix mithaee with normal taste of any normal mithaee shop. Shop, however, is built quite commercially presentable. Location is very good. Disappointed experience. Not recommended, by the way.

Too expensive.. Just enjoying their goodwill otherwise people won't pay Rs.1800 - 1900 for one kg Gulab Jamun, which is atleast Ra.600 cheaper at United King..

Best quality sweets in all city around but Karachi is cosmopolitan city has got poor people's not going to afford it so the minus point is only price they should work on it without compromise the quality of sweet and also one thing reminder their business is sweet they should not come on bakery items their bakery items are worse also soggy things thinks for reading the review

Good Halwapuri Nashta available right after Fajr prayers. They have Arabic paratha like available at Fresco and also they have beef minced Kachori. I like halwa and Kachori worth trying.

  • 2/5 IMRAN M. 8 months ago on Google
They claim to prepare sweetmeats (Mithai) with pure (desi) ghee and charge high price. I doubt bcoz pure (desi) ghee doesn't cause throat irritation and heavy feeling at stomach. I feel regretted to opine that we, as a nation, are corrupt. We use all means to become millionaire in one night so we never leave any chance to deceive innocent people and get their hard earned money, by negative means. No speciality just ordinary mithai as available on any shop in the city.

There is no doubt that quality and health/hygiene of Mahmood Sweets is very good. But at 980 Rs./kg (as of 6th August 2021), the cost is very high

One of the top sweets places in Karachi, Pakistan. It's one of the big names, and has a very good variety of Desi Sweets and Halwajat. Furthermore, their packing material is decent looking, so it's a good place for getting gifts. One of the best desi gifts is a box of mixed Halwajat, and with their variety it's a really good place to get a desi gift. 👍🏼

Got 10kg of special malai khaja made to distribute on my son's birth. After distributing all the mithai when we opened a box to eat at home, a stone came in the first bite and a cherry pit in the second. How did a stone and cherry pit end inside of the malai khaja?! All we could do was pray that none of the other boxes were a similar case. Extremely disappointed and angry with the poor standards of quality.
