There were buildings around the streets which were made by the Britishers, giving it the true vibe of Saddar's heritage, many options available for eatery like sajid n bunch of food stalls.. they have plenty of attraction for kids like swings n inflation castle like activity.. Friday, Saturday, Sunday are for families only..I really liked this place. It is definitely a good addition to the city as an enclosed food street. It was quite clean and peaceful, free of traffic noise and jams. They have made a very proper underground charged parking which provides plenty of area to accommodate a lot of cars .

Karachi needs places like these more than ever, especially when the city is becoming a concrete jungle. I like the blend of heritage and modernized structures, although I will request the authorities to put up a little history on the heritage sites so people can elaborate themselves. On my visit I found many curious people looking for information on the structures but it was really hard to even find something concrete over the internet. Management of the People's Square should also consider the acoustic level they were playing music around the place, sometimes adding too much sugar can be harmful. The ambiance was really good, and families were enjoying the time there, The cleanliness was well seen and maintained, arm guards were there also for a Sense of protection. Overall families can enjoy a quality time out there !

The place is well planned with basement parking. Neat clean spot for families. Food is good of sajid restaurant lil but spicy. If you eat less spicy you might need to ask them for it before order. Rides for toddlers and jumping castle for kids is also nice. There is no entry fees. Best thing is its walking street no vehicle is allowed inside

I have heard alot about this place but when I went there at 6 pm it was closes and surprising thing is they don't have any fix time to open it properly. I waited until 7:45 pm they were still washing and cleaning so I came back 😶

Only two proper restaurants there. Food is good but too many stray dogs and cats roaming around and coming very near to you. They don't make them go away excusing that they always come back. Could have been a much better place if the strays were not there. Good parking spaces and good entertainment like a golden man and a joker doing stunts. But a big no because of the animals. We had dinner at Platter house and it was economical and really tasty. Attaching some pics of food.

Visited this place and really amazed by the neat and clean environment. Paid Rs 30 for parking. This place has a play area for kids (Bouncing, swings, and electric motorbike) further there is also a food court where you can enjoy desi foods like Karahi, Sajji, BBQ, and snacks. It also has a public bathroom. The only thing this park is missing is the grass. #publicpark #parking #playarea #foodcourt

Good parking area near to buns road and II CHUNDRIGAR but worst thing is that there are lot of snatching incident are happening over there when people coming back to parking from their office. They have been looted there. Government should deploy security outside and install good quality cameras there

Came here to get some snacks as we were passing by, its a family place, good for evenings, neighborhood families can visit and enjoy fresh air, lots of machine swings for kids and jumping castle, tasty food. Had rolls from one of the restaurant on the left row, it was very tasty and good quantity. Quite safe for women to visit with their kids as well.

Free entrance till date (28-11-2021) Peaceful environment A good place for kids and families only Reasonable outdoor seating arrangement Lovely ambiance Huge variety of food items available including fast food, bbq, desi and all that you can imagine Exceptionally great parking plaza underground for people to park their cars and roam all of burns road Toilets are in poor condition This place is a mini version of port grand I think in coming years this place will become a huge family park and be merged with Burns Park just beside it.

A good spot for sitting with family and friends. Few food shops (karahi, biryani, juices, chat, ice cream, gola ganda, chips etc) were also there with good seating arrangement. Now let's start from the entrance till exit: I left home just for some drive and to have ice cream, so planned to explore newly constructed People's Square. At the entrance, parking ticket machine was either disabled or may be not working. But I guess it was made disabled intentionally because at the entrance in underground parking 3 persons were sitting for parking tickets instead of single machine. Then I was handed over well printed parking ticket of Rs 70 which was valid for some time and afterwards Rs 50 was to be charged for each hour. Actually, parking ticket was returned at the time of exit, which is common, so I can't read complete details on ticket. There were stairs and lifts installed for going up. However, lifts were again made disabled intentionally. Maybe they were to be used for VIP visits. So we went up through stairs. Pan spitting was found in corners, which was cleaned. After we reached at People's Square, loud film music from neighbor country was being played, which was not expected at all for an area where families were there for enjoyment. A large number of dustbins were installed but empty rappers and bottles were found on floor. Security staff was there who should fix penalty for throwing garbage and should fine a handsome amount to keep the area clean. Later we walked complete People's Square. Some families were there for walk, some water playing with their kids, some were enjoying their friends company and a few were there for food. There were about 4 free entrance/exit for pedestrians. Parking was underground which was charged Rs 70 for cars and i guess Rs 30 for bikes. But I'm not sure about price of bike parking; rather I read it on Google. After about 15 mins stay, we went to the parking, and followed the exit path and it was closed. But we were guided to the only exit which was left open and which was just besides entrance. All automatic entrance exit machines were disabled and only one entry exit was manually controlled. A person came to collect back the parking ticket and we left the parking.

Wanna get rid of stress ?? Just Turn you car to one of the best location of karachi " The People's square " People's square has the basement parking with a capacity of 350 cars & motorbikes will help commuters park & then walk to burns road, arts council, burns garden, Sindh Sect, DJ, SM Law & Arts College !! Other than that, the recreational space is filled with old artistic paintings that depict the cultural values of the city. Food stalls have also been installed and special importance has been given to women, who will have their own separate space to run small businesses

Being a metropolitan city, Karachi has been facing a lot of traffic issues. Rush hours are basically real-life nightmares no matter where you are in this town. Recently, the ‘People’s Square’ has been built in Saddar, one of the most populated areas, to help reduce the problem. The initiative was taken by the Karachi Neighborhood Improvement Project [KNIP] which is a government organization.

It was good to walk around the People's Square. It is a good place for families especially kids who want to play games, dodging 🚗. The Sindh government should make more spots like people's squares. PS: it was one of the finest places for families but the environment is getting a bit crowded by some specific groups of people who don't even seem like local residents.

Good place for neighborhood people to spend some time in the busiest place in Karachi. Parking facility is available underground. Some food vendors are available at the spot. Could get a bit crowded on peak times. If you are coming for Burns Road food street then you can have a one time visit here also

The place is nice for a walk and doodh Pati chai, that is very good specially at Sajid restaurant.but there is lack of cleaning at some sides as you can see in my photo aswell. While the crowd of surrounding areas are not civilized enough to bring your decent family here. Therefore they restricted it family only on weekends I.e Friday to Sunday.

The square is a popular destination for families, tourists, and locals seeking leisure activities and relaxation amidst the city's hustle and bustle. Additionally, Peoples Square often hosts cultural events, festivals, and concerts, further enhancing its appeal as a vibrant public space. However, for the most current information and reviews, I recommend checking recent sources or online platforms.

Visited this place yesterday and found it under developed as this place got so much potential yet the eateries and fun element lacks. So much empty spaces ready to be filled out. However got to Experience their new eatery Sajid Restaurant which was good in taste and nice place for sitting as well. Some jumping castles and fun land was average but a nice place for family in coming year if they invest more here!!
