I
recently
had
the
pleasure
of
dining
at
Coconut
Grove
in
Karachi,
and
overall,
it
was
a
delightful
experience.
While
there
were
a
few
minor
hiccups
along
the
way,
the
quality
of
the
food
more
than
made
up
for
it.
To
start
our
meal,
we
had
initially
ordered
the
"Crab
Rangoon"
as
an
appetizer.
Unfortunately,
it
was
unavailable,
but
the
staff
promptly
offered
us
a
replacement
dish,
the
"Salt
and
Pepper
Calamari."
This
dish
turned
out
to
be
a
pleasant
surprise,
with
the
fried
calamari
being
perfectly
cooked
and
infused
with
a
tantalizing
blend
of
garlic,
ginger,
and
hot
green
peppers.
The
spiciness
added
an
extra
kick,
making
it
a
memorable
starter.
Moving
on
to
the
main
courses,
we
opted
for
the
"Chicken
Morocca
Steak."
The
chicken
fillet
was
incredibly
tender
and
served
with
a
generous
amount
of
the
much-loved
Moroccan
sauce.
The
flavors
were
well-balanced
and
complemented
each
other
beautifully.
It
was
a
satisfying
and
well-executed
dish.
For
our
second
main
course,
we
tried
the
intriguing-sounding
"Dragons
Nest."
The
crispy,
tender
beef
strips
were
coated
in
a
delectable
sweet
stick
sauce,
creating
a
delightful
contrast
of
textures
and
flavors.
It
was
accompanied
by
a
side
of
egg
fried
rice,
which
provided
a
perfect
accompaniment.
This
dish
was
a
definite
highlight
and
left
us
wanting
more.
To
quench
our
thirst,
we
ordered
the
"Coconut
Cooler"
and
"Boba
Passion
Fruit"
from
the
drinks
menu.
The
Coconut
Cooler
was
a
creamy
delight,
offering
a
refreshing
blend
of
coconut
flavors.
The
Boba
Passion
Fruit
was
a
fun
and
fruity
choice,
complete
with
those
delightful
chewy
boba
pearls.
Both
drinks
were
enjoyable
and
added
to
the
tropical
vibe
of
the
restaurant.
For
dessert,
we
indulged
in
the
classic
"Kunafa."
The
sweet
and
cheesy
pastry
was
a
fitting
end
to
the
meal,
leaving
a
satisfyingly
rich
and
sweet
taste
lingering
on
our
palates.
Regarding
the
service,
there
was
a
slight
delay
in
the
serving
time.
However,
the
quality
of
the
food
justified
the
wait.
The
staff
members
were
attentive
and
friendly,
ensuring
our
dining
experience
was
pleasant.
In
terms
of
pricing,
the
total
bill
came
to
around
7000
rupees,
which
was
expected
considering
the
quality
of
the
food,
the
ambiance,
and
the
overall
experience.
