NED university of engineering and technology is one of the oldest government based engineering universities dates back to 1920. It's 100 years old and recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. The semester fees of NED university is as low as 25 thousand rupees. NED offers all the facilities which a private university is providing to it's students including good education, laboratories for different engineering majors , a mosque, there is a separate gym for boys and girls ,a girls common room, more than 5 canteens with delicious food at reasonable prices, basketball court, football ground, cricket ground and so much more. Most of the teachers teaching at this university have either done masters or they are PhD holders.

One of the best engineering university of Pakistan. Reputation is good and seems good too. The students who are studying there seems satisfied and this quite a big achievement. Nice and old college that is doing a good job for engineering level education. They have set some good standard that made it an ideal choice for the students. Teachers are good and professional with very well equipped laboratories and attendants. Location is also very optimum for the students to reach easily via several buses. if you need better results go to this college and avail some excellent education. Strongly recommended

NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi, is the best university in Pakistan. Its offering bachelor, master and other programs. It's located on the main university road. It has a large area. I appreciate the environment, which is neat and clean, green, and the classes are well maintained with projectors, The wash rooms are really good and clean which is the symbol of the best administration. Security is also admirable. They are managing the Pre Entry tests in a well manner.

My experience studying at NEDUET has been extremely unsatisfying. Throughout the duration of my degree program, I found myself constantly struggling to find relevant course materials and instructors who lacked enthusiasm for teaching. Additionally, administrative processes are cumbersome, and student support services leave much to be desired. Furthermore, campus facilities fail to meet basic expectations, with limited access to technology and crumbling infrastructure. Although enrolled students may see initial promise upon first glance, I strongly advise prospective applicants against pursuing education at NEDUET. Instead, invest time researching institutions truly committed to providing academic excellence and fostering learning environments conducive to success. Ultimately, I cannot recommend this university under any circumstances. It's simply a waste of resources and potential.

NED university is the best university of sindh. A dream university of Engineering students. This has very peaceful atmosphere. This uni has international way of study. This uni has every engineering department. This uni is built very awesome. This has clean roads and awesome building . Teachers are highly qualified and students here get opportunity to go for any field and there many development programme happens and seminars. There are also sports grounds and everything that in student of university needs.

I reluctantly took one start off. Once the premier engineering educational institution and falling behind. I can see a lot of effort being put in but they need a lot of catching up to do. This is based on my interactions with students from NED and other universities. Attended flag hosting ceremony on 23 Mar 2022. A wonderful experience. Hope next it would be better organised.

All teachers are good on teaching we they took online classes ❤ to be honest if you want to chemical engineer you should first go through the outline of it without looking into, if you are for it, it will feel like hell for you

NED University of Engineering & Technology is most prestigious educational institute in Engineering field particularly which is named after Nadirshaw Eduljee Dinshaw (NED) who was the son of famous philanthropist Seth Edulji Dinshaw. The institute have 26 major departments further more classified into sub departments which offers various degree programs for Bachelors, Masters and Management side as well with top notch foreign qualified faculty.

It is one of the best university of the country. Because iam giving review on maps therefore, i will say that it is much beautiful and vast university.

Overall it's great. Infrastructure is good. Proper departments except mechanical, civil and electrical. Some teachers are really cooperative while some just waste time of students. They don't provide online classes (just in case of emergency like corona)

Very reputable engineering University. Discipline and quality of education, almost all Laboratories are well equipped. NED University Also offer short course, certificate and diploma course and workshops in regular basis to enhance the capabilities of professionals.

No doubt One of the best public sector engineering university. But They should care more about there students worst class rooms no ventilation. At least put air conditioner in class or make the ventilation better. In peak sunny day it feel’s no less then a hell.

In my early days when I was a university student. I love the way university is maintained. I have studied MS Telecommunication systems from electronic engineering dept. I found my professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers extremely professional. During my tenure with this prestigious educational institution, I helped many other technical staff and lab technicians to enhance their education level. They all love me and i love them. I leave this institution after graduating with great CGPA. I am proud to be NEDian.

NED University of Engineering & Technology is situated at Main University Road , Karachi . It was established in March 1977 under an act of the Provincial Assembly of Sindh after upgrading of the former NED Government Engineering College, which was set up in 1921. It is one of the oldest institution in Pakistan for teaching and producing Engineering graduates.

Really good university with nice environment and security, they don't allow ppl to come and visit like a picnic place tho if you have a reason then you can enter. Offers several stem engineering fields such as Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Chemical along with many other advanced engineering fields such as telecommunication, materials, bio, environmental etc. The most affordable university in Karachi with semester fee around 35k PKR.

Dream university it was! And Alhamdulillah currently I am studying at this university. If I talk about this university it is good in theory classes but practically I can rate them 3/5 cause some teachers just give a lecture as a theory and they give less time in labs. As it takes the low amount of fees (around 35k-42k) among other universities of Karachi or (overall Pakistan ) so according to fee the facilities are good overall,this is a good university, and depends on us how much time we're giving to learning skills.
