The oldest and biggest fish market of Karachi. Best time to visit early morning after Fajar, as shopkeepers come this time therefore marketers deal in wholesale prices. This place is too much smelly and dirty all over but still worth visiting. As you can buy variety of fishes, crabs, prawns etc. Poor Bangali fisher boys roam around you to help you buying fish you need. In return they just want you to cut off fish by them at 20 or 30 rupees per KG. Most of them are too expert in making finger fish and flay.

This market is one of the oldest & biggest market in Karachi. You can find all varieties of Fish, Crabs, Lobsters, Prawns here. I recommend people to visit here early in the morning like 6 AM. Visit the place completely then buy the fresh ones, dont rely on some kids who come across with customers. Do must wear water resistant shoes and long coat if you can. Well enjoy your visit and have fun.

The fish market at Fish Harbour Road Kemari is a great place to buy freshly caught fish at wholesale rates if you can tolerate occasionally wading ankle deep in icy cold water melting from all the huge ice blocks used to keep the fish fresh mixed with overflowing sewage water. A strong smell of fish pervades the air. Years ago, when I was in school, whenever the class was acting more boisterous than usual, one of our teachers would rhetorically ask, "Is this a class or a fish market?". I never fully understood the meaning of that term till I visited the Kemari Fish Market.

Fish fish everyone! One of the best, probably Pakistan's best Fish market. Fishes were coming out live infront of us and they were selling in the mix rates. There should be a banner from government about the rates of fish.

One of the most popular and biggest wholesale sea fish market of Karachi. There you can buy for yourself. The market selling time starts from 5AM. But the retail prices are average, not profitable. You can buy fish at the same pricing from your location's retail Market. The place is totally time wasting... Don't waste your valuable time.

This is the best place to get fresh fish/prawns. Visit there in the early morning for a good bargain or by 3:00 pm in the late afternoon from Saturday to Thursday.

Loved the experience. The quality of the fish is, for the most part, quite good. However, those who know how to judge the quality of seafood as well as how to haggle, should avoid the "guides" who come to you to help you get the best fish. They are a nuisance and distract you from the entire shopping experience. If you are a fan of quality fish, then I recommend that you visit this fish market.

The oldest and biggest Fish market in Pakistan, remains crowded all the time with buyers and workers with trollies, over 80 percent of the Pakistan's sea fish and seafood are trading and dealing through this market, market has no proper sewage system or drainage system, smelling water on the floor all around, better to visit early morning at around fajar. There are local boys who helps you finding fresh and then clean and cut your fish. They charge 20-30 Rupees pr kg.
