On the rooftop in the middle of Shahra-e-Faisal, dining in Karachi's evening breeze was a pleasant experience. Really liked the vibe of this place and the desi food goes well with it too. We ordered Makhmali Chicken Kababs, Chicken Makhni Handi on waiter's recommendation, and it was quite flavorful. Especially the kababs, they were super moist. Mint Lemonade and Falsa Juice were alright. Their Gulab Jamuns are the best I've had in a very long time, though 4 mini jamuns for Rs. 290 is a little overpriced, imo. Overall a very pleasant experience. Value for money needs to be worked on though.

Ghalib Restaurant is located on roof top in the heart of the City. It has impressive ambience, good service and reasonably good quality of food. Staff is hospitable, quick but needs a little more coordination. Recommended for dine-in with family and friends.

So there's 20% discount on HBL first, which we didn't know if. The staff wasn't well trained. We've to literally dictate him the dishes we decided. He didn't guide us properly although it was our first time at ghalib. The ambiance is ahhmmaazingg. The grand look both indoor and outdoor gives you a grande outlook. That W-11 also gave a typical truck art Desi touch, but keeping the contemporary theme alive. The food wasn't good at all. We ordered simple fries for starter. And they were literally simple and small* fries. With a sweet ketchup. When we asked for chili garlic sauce, they said it's available, which was really odd. The main courses weren't really good too. They were okay. Not too bad and not too good. Overall, a must try if you're planning for fine dine.

A really good experience. Ambiance is amazing and the food complimented it really well. Service was on point. The only thing they can improve is to enable reservation system. They have added number for reservations on their menu as well but they currently not accepting it, makes it a tad frustrating.

The restaurant's ambiance is inviting, and their menu offers a variety of options. While some rice dishes fell short, the Makhni Handi was a delightful surprise with its rich and tasty flavors. Dynamite prawns were not that good like other restaurants. Cheese naan os good though. Despite the food highlights, the prolonged waiting times can be a drawback, occasionally affecting the overall dining experience. Nevertheless, the potential for improvement in service efficiency makes me inclined to give it another shot. With adjustments, this place could evolve into a consistently enjoyable dining destination.

Overall it's a good place to visit once, but not a place to visit frequently as it's not value for money. Taste is good but not exceptional plus serving size was small.

The ambience is good. Indoor and outdoor, both options are available for dining in. The service was good the time taken to prepare the order wasn't much considering I visited at peak time. The servers were polite and helpful and the waiter was patient. The theme is quite different from other restaurants and the menu offered a wide selection range. The food tasted good and the serving style was appealing too.

Had dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. This rooftop restaurant has a very aesthetically pleasing environment, corporative and friendly staff, soothing ambiance and above all delicious food. They even have decorations representing Pakistan's culture. Moreover the manager, Mr Nauman, also provided excellent customer service. Highly recommended restaurant.

I heard a lot about this restaurant on my trip to Karachi this time, so I decided to go there and check it out by myself. The place has a very good ambiance and the rooftop sitting is just perfect in this weather. The restaurant is very well decorated, it screams fine dinning from every corner of the wall. The menu has just about everything for everyone and the food was good too, however the service could've been a bit better. But a very good experience overall.

A Good experience overall. Went with my wife and kids (yes was given a baby chair). The ambience and the food was worth it. Gotta get there earlier though and with a reservation via phone call (number updated on their google location) in advance, Instagram reservation on messages isn’t acceptable. The service could have been tad better but since it was iftaari, can’t really put it on the rozakhors you know. Kudos to Majid Gill for managing his 11th restaurant launch!

Good place, good food, great ambience and great prices. The only thing that bothered me was sitting. It was too far from the buffet, and prices were high compared to other restaurants offering more or less the same menu.

Exceptional Ambiance, delicious food and W11 wala touch. But a but pricey for my liking... Value for money hai... But itni value chaiye nae thi... But overall an amazing option for lunch and dinner. Malai boti and Garlic naan are recommended.

I had an amazing experience dining at Ghalib Restaurant. The location has a very relaxing vibe, dining on a breezy rooftop was pleasing. The staff welcomed us warmly and allocated the requested table. They had right number of staff serving the tables and ensured everything was in order. We ordered mixed grill, chicken steaks and brain masala. All tasted really good, spice was on a hotter side. Ghalib also has a valet service so parking is not an issue. I would definitely recommend Ghalib restaurant.

Excellent ambiance. Variety of options available. I think fast food and normal Desi cuisine seems a safer option. Multiple seating options available including open air (with air conditioner 😁), indoor and top of the roof. Staff is nice and courteous. Not super expensive. Parking options are limited. Valet is an option.

Hello everyone... we went to this place cuz so much hyped it was... It had great ambience which I might not have portrayed correctly in images... it was much more than that... food was excuisite and delicious 🤤 but yes again the prices were really high as always in these fancy places... Overall a good experience, staff was professional and were wearing a smile at all times... We also noticed them discussing what remarks we'd given. We had a nice little photography session as they had some places where u could really click some good shots... Its a Go-to place once in a while when u want to enjoy food with good scenery and beautiful breeze specially in winters ❤️

One of the major drawbacks of my visit was the lackluster quality of the rice dish that accompanied the meal. Regrettably, the rice was devoid of any discernible flavor, leaving me dissatisfied and yearning for a more appetizing accompaniment. Before visiting Ghalib, I heard alot about this place, but never got an opportunity to visit here. But it seems a great decision to get Eid Dinner here instead of Do Dariya, which must be jam pack traffic due to Eid holidays. The ambience, lighting and vibes here was awesome. And ofcource food as well. We ordered a Moroccan Chicken, Shish Touq and half Chicken Karhai with 4 Plain Naans, a sparkling peach margarita and peachy leachy and total Bill amount was 5800/- which is lesser than the restaurants at Do Dariya. They accept credit cards as payment which is good, and I saw wheelchairs which they provide for thier elderly and people with different abilities for free. And ofcource this place is completely ♿ Accessibility-friendly.

I don’t like it personally. Reasons were pretty obvious. The food quantity was very less according to the prices. The quality of food was not good neither the services. The food was cold and to me it was bit oily too. Ambiance was very nice. We ordered: pani puri 07/10 bbq platter 4/10 mutton karahi 1/10 Egg Fried rice 07/10 (there was nothing in the menu to pair with fried rice) Naan and flaky paratha 10/10 Mint lemonade 6/10 ( too sweet) Peachy lychee 6/10 (the was little hint of bitterness after every sip) Total damage Rs.7000/-

I normally avoid going to a restaurant twice specially in consecutive days. But i had to do it for Ghalib as first time my friends invited me so i loved the ambiance and atmosphere so second day i came with family so they can experience the same. After looking at menu i think they have very reasonable prices. We ordered BBQ platter, in which chops, beef kabab and afghani boti were good others were ok. We also ordered chullo kabab and it was fresh and juicy. The Ghalib special Karhai was average. Garlic naan were good as well. But winner of thw show was Mint Lemonade, it had right amount of lemon and mint. It’s been a while i had a good Mint Lemonade. Service was fair enough also. The servers were little busy and was not available all the time but managers were judging by customer reaction and was coming by themselves to ask if we need any help. Overall a good experience inwould say. Visited for the first time with friends and the atmosphere and vibe is definitely the show stopper. The food was lovely, we ordered BBQ, handi and pasta with rabdi for dessert. We are visiting overseas and I’d definitely come back to again mainly for the great vibes.

Dined at Ghalib Restaurant Karachi, a new rooftop addition to Karachi’s eatery. Loved the rooftop/terrace open air ambience, with beautiful chic decor. A great Insta-pic spot. Also great food presentation. However, the service is very poor, everyone seems very confused. Waiting time to get a table can take upto 2 hours if you are with a group of people and the taste of the food isn’t that great. The bbq and Karahi were nice but handi and chicken wings were not great. They need to work more on there taste and customer service.

Very nice ambience with open and indoor seating. A bit crowded, you should better do reservation before visit. Food was also good. Tried their hummus and cheese nan, the nan was super loaded and delicious. Also tried chicken steak and fish n chips. Steak was ok but fish was like below average. Also their drinks were also average. We tried mint lemonade. Overall a good experience.

I visited ghalib with family a month or so ago for dinner. It was peak summer days, and they had arranged AC units for the outside seating area to enhance their customers' experience. The food was delicious, especially their handi. It is a good family place, and the arrangement was nice.

Finally got a chance to visit Ghalib Restaurant. We did not have a reservation, and waiting was for 45mins however we were seated in approx 15mins. Waiting area is decent. We started with the meethi puri for appetizers which were 5/5, perfect flavors. For the mains we got the kabab platter and the chicken makhni handi as recommended by the server. The chicken handi was really good and one must try it. It was rich, buttery and right amount of saucy. Next the kabab platter came, ut mustve been made already because it was not hot. The rice that accompany the platter were cold so we had to request the server to actually reheat it. The mutton chops were very dry, cold and rubbery. The chicken malai boti were the best in the platter imo. For dessert we ordered the kulfi faloda. It was served in a fancy platter and was quite okay. The total was slightly less than 9k. I believe I have had better food in that amount but I suppose it was worth trying out this restaurant, once. Also note if you want to bring kids or the elderly, it does get very loud as it was packed with people.

A great experience with an exceptional environment. The food was flavourful. Starter, chicken strips with fries was just normal like any other restaurant. We ordered persian khas kabab, and it was delicious. Normally I don’t like mutton kabab but this kabab had balanced spices. The reshmi handi we had was like melting in our mouth with a burst of flavour. Cocktails were luscious. It was cuban peach. The only thing that bothered was the reservation system. They have to improve that. They have enough space for more seats to be arranged. Had to wait for half an hour. Just need to work on that. Other than that great experience.

Nice exterior overlooking Shara e Faisal to enjoy Karachi breeze as well as accommodate inside an air conditioned dining area or hall. Well furnished with mostly cane interiors and some greenery. Price range is an average of 1100-1500 Rs. Provides under-ground valet parking with a lift direct to the restaurant. Serves both desi n continental dishes but better to order desi. Service sufficiently alright.

Guys! Don't even try... Sincere advice.. FOOD and SERVICE both were POOR.... Ambience is good.. but what to do with Ambience if Food quality and Services remains Poor. HIGHLY PRICED , ZERO VALUE FOR MONEY. Visited it on Thursday 7th April'22 for iftar/ Dinner.

The ambience of the restaurant is great but food isn't. As they have alot of things in the menu but there isn't available, such as they didn't have any chinese menu nor burgers nor desert but they had ice cream and jaleebi and gulab jamun. As we visited yesterday and ordered mix platter but the meat was raw and couldn't be eaten at all. If in the menu there are things aren't available DON'T MENTION IT IN THE MENU AT ALL. This is worst restaurant to be visited. Waiting takes 45-50 mins.

The food tastes good, though quantity seems less, ambience is excellent, chinese, desi and fast food are available. Service is ok too, waiting times exceed 2 hrs.

Experience was good but quantity doesn't match with the price. First of all we ordered starter which is hot and sour soup it was hot and good in taste and the main course we ordered is Mix platter with saffron Rice which was not enough for two persons.

Great ambience, nice food. Wings could have been more delicious. Ease up on the spice guys. Music was all coke studio, truth be told I was expecting some Ghalib ghazals sung by Jagjit😂

A very unique restaurant on roof top of Habbit on Shahrah-e-Faisal, pleasant atmosphere nicely decorated, cultural environment of Karachi. Food quality and taste is nice but little expensive from others. I recommend you to visit for one time at least.

The ambiance was just amazing from the environment to experience. The food was good too but their serving is very less keeping their standards. Moreover their staff is very untrained they don't know what the best they offer or even what would come in specific serving. If we are spending so much they should hire trained staff at least. Atlast their waiter asked us to give good reviews on feeback card. Food was good but service was not.

A mediocre place with overhyped reviews. Waiting pretty long, even though had a reservation before hand. The menu offers number of desi cuisines. The food was okay. On a lighter note, the service was a little disappointing. The ambience is worth appreciation.

To get there have to go through habitt or the side entrance and there is direct elevator to the rooftop. The place was very nicely decorated, big spaces with 3 different aesthetics and some indoor spaces to sit as well. The food overall was good and nice to host larger dinner parties or bringing guests from abroad to try clean safe paskitani food. Do NOTE on the weekend: We went early around 745 so easy to get a place for a big party it was more or less empty at that time but by the time we got done 930 it was a mad house people just kept coming up and huge parties watiting in chaos, with no space walk, the elevators taking forever to come and valet was overwhelmed.

Beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant to spend my last day in Karachi with my great aviation friend. Food was incredible. Waiters were hospitable, to make sure we got everything we need. They even also brought fresh hot naan for us if our naan gets cold. Would love to visit again in the summer to try out other dishes.

For service you actually have to chase them to bring drinks woth the food not after food . Rest all is okay great atmosphere & food is great. Why For kids menu they should add options

This was my first experience at this Ghalib restaurant and it was really bad. The waiters took my order and forgot everything. First, they served me some strange-smelling dynamite prawns, and the waiters didn't listen when I called them. It felt like I was at a wedding, waiting for 30 minutes for the next dish, which was a raw and tasteless chicken steak. Then the pizza arrived very late and had no flavor. They were eating roti, but it felt like a really terrible experience. I wasted my money, the food was expensive and terrible. I will never go there again🥲 not recommend..
