Gatco Supermarket is a welcome addition to malir cantt. Gatco is located close to askari star mall and previously, Pak China supermarket was located in this place. The Gatco management has seriously upgraded the ambiance of this place. The quality of items and variety is quiet good. The place has received a warm response on its opening and its hoped that it will continue to garner more customers keeping in view that Imtiaz supermarket is closeby. However, there are areas of improvement. The staff though courteous, needs training. Specially the counter staff needs to be quick just like imtiaz counter staff. I was pleasantly surprised to see christmas celebration items being put on sale. Moreover, Baskin Robins and Habitt have also opened their POS inside Gatco. All in all, it is a good option if you want to avoid the mad rush ar imtiaz.

Good addition in Malir Cantt. Meat shop is good. Rest of stuff has limited variety. Staff is cooperative.

A good place for shopping and one dollar shop is also available within it.

25Mar2021: Visited for the first time while going to Iqra Library, opp: Fatima Jinnah Park. The store is disciplined, neat and clean. But prices cannot be compared to Intiaz or any other wholesale store. They charge full amount without any discount. They pack in very good brown paper bags. The restaurant/tea shop with a Rickshaw is very eye catching. Local brands not 8n big quantity.

This store offers pretty much everything one needs to purchase routinely, including vegetables, meats, frozen food, dairy, general groceries, cleaning items, kitchen utensils, toiletries, confectioneries, and even some electronic accessories and toys. Both imported and local items are available. Prices are not the lowest, but not the highest either. The place itself is not crowded, but it is usually difficult to find a parking spot in the evenings due to the profusion of fast-food places nearby. Parking is usually no problem in the daytime. It's one of my main go-to places when one needs to quickly pick up just a few items in daytime and is not keen on battling the crowds elsewhere. No rush at the checkout counters either. For those wanting more, the adjacent pharmacy, dairy, salon, tailors, fast-food outlets and mall are additional attractions.

Finally something to cheer about!!! Since my return, I was not able to find a single shop which have decent products near to my house. They have the variety, not the high end one as compared to any regular departmental store in International market but atleast enough to give you the feeling. The store is by any standard is the best I have visited recently. The staff is efficient and working hard. The products have quality and variety and still not too heavy on pocket. The launch is an excellent step, lets see it they will be able to continue it or not.

The staff was rude. The air-conditioning was not working and there are no fans in the mart.

If you are looking for variety pof quality brands grocery in Malir Cantt, Gatco is the right place to go. Staff is most courteous. Parking gets tricky in evening.

A good go to grocery shopping, some kids toys, some crockery n frozen stuff. Samosa outside the shop was also tasty. Spacious parking. They have service to deliver ur cart home if nearby.

Overall atmosphere is good. But highly expensive

Really needs to keep the complete range of grocery available all the time or else people would be left with no option other than Imtiaz inside Malir Cantt.

Can get almost all items of daily use under a the same roof. There is wheel chair accessable parking. Well staffed super store with wide variety to choose from.

Pharmacy is the best. Gatco is recommended as a one stop solution. Prices on some of the commodities are on the higher side.

Nice place to shop, but they should stock up more imported items
