I
started
my
journey
to
J&K
with
my
family
on
5th
of
May
this
year
in
this
travel
company,
and
it
was
the
second
time
I
was
going
through
the
same
travel
company
(i.e.
Gandhi
Travel).
The
experience
was
almost
the
same
since
the
tour
manager
Mr.
Samir
was
accompanying
us
this
time
too.
The
driver
of
the
bus
Mr.
Gurmeher
Singh
is
pretty
skillful
driver
as
he
drove
the
Volvo
S400
flawlessly
both
on
the
well
built
national
highways
and
the
hilly
regions
of
J&K.
The
bus
itself
was
comfortable
both
in
terms
of
seating
and
performance,
felt
a
bit
like
being
in
an
airplane
when
it
moved
on
the
freeways.
4
cooks
and
1
conductor,
all
were
well
behaved,
and
managed
our
luggage
impressively.
The
bus
used
to
get
cleaned
by
the
conductor
Narayan
Rajput
during
our
night
stay
in
the
hotel.
The
cook,
Mahesbhai
used
to
make
food
that
almost
had
the
taste
of
the
meal
cooked
at
home...
slightly
different
but
decent.
Though,
the
food
always
used
to
be
the
regional
and
regular
one
that
we
eat
in
Gujarat
for
the
convenience
of
the
passengers
and
their
stomach
:).Though
the
breakfast
was
always
delighting.
Kashmir
is
a
worth
visiting
place
and
our
tour
manager
had
all
worked
it
out,
from
hotels
we
stayed
in
starting
from
Jodhpur
to
Amritsar,
to
Srinagar
&
Pehelgam,
lastly
at
Katra
and
Bikaner
along
with
the
arrangement
of
mini
buses
to
travel
in
Srinagar,
horses
to
go
uphill
in
Gulmarg
along
with
some
extra
food
services
like
lunch
at
the
site
of
Dal
Lake
with
the
view
of
mountains,
giving
packed
mug-puri
during
Gulmarg
visit,
thepla,achar
and
dahi
during
Sonmarg
visit.
All
the
hotels
we
stayed
had
24X7
WiFi
facility
including
the
5G
one.
But
there
were
some
bitter
parts
of
this
tour
too.
Mr.
Samir
miscalculated
the
timings
twice.
First,
when
we
reached
Amritsar,
the
checkout
of
already
staying
folks
took
very
long,
we
reached
at
7:30
in
the
morning
and
got
our
rooms
4hrs
later.
We
had
to
brush
in
an
open
parking
lot
(which
was
not
very
clean),
had
breakfast
in
the
basement.
The
hotel's
mismanagement
led
to
the
late
allotment
of
the
room
and
it
disrupted
the
whole
timing
for
lunch
and
site
scene
of
the
city.
Though,
the
Atari
border
visit
was
more
impressive
than
the
previous
time
but
it
wasn't
the
case
with
the
Golden
Temple
visit...
and
we
had
lunch
at
3
in
the
afternoon.
Secondly,
when
we
reached
Bikaner
it
was
8
in
the
morning
and
it
was
the
only
day
we
were
going
to
stay,
since
we
all
left
for
site
scene
around
10:30,
only
the
fort
was
possible
to
visit
and
the
resort
we
were
staying
in
was
30
min.
away
from
the
city
which
did
not
allowed
us
to
see
more
of
the
Bikaner.
However,
the
desert
festival
visit
during
the
evening
gave
the
real
vibe
of
being
in
Rajsthan.
From
camel
ride
to
desert
safari
in
the
gypsy,
the
entertaining
Rajasthani
dance
along
with
chai
and
pakoda.
The
main
objective
of
the
tour
was
to
experience
the
heavenly
Kashmir
and
it
went
well
beyond
my
expectations
as
everything
for
this
part
was
wonderfully
planned.
So
lastly,
I
can
conclude
that
it's
a
worth
choosing
idea
to
go
in
Gandhi
Travel...
I
mena,
who
gives
all
these
thrill
at
a
ticket
price
of
a
smartphone
?
Enjoy
your
break
and
some
of
the
photos
here
:)
