So I go there and the guy hands me the menu. I was with 2 foreigners friends. The menu had jacked up prices. About double the normal price. I asked the worker about it in arabic. He said this is the tourist prices and then he gave me the local price. That wasn't cool, and it's illegal to do that in jordan. The falafel we ordered was cold. And when I asked the waiter to get me fresh falafel he just said no. Bread wasn't fresh. Houmous was average. What they did with the tourists menu thing was just bad and doesn't reflect how tourism in jordan is. It was sad. and I wouldn't recommend any tourist to go there.

I highly recommend this place. Delicious local food at very attractive prices. I ate too much, but it was a shame to leave anything on the plate. Extremely nice owner, who allows you to feel the "spirit" of Jordan

Hidden gem in Al Karak, with great food and a very friendly and welcoming owner. The meals cost 4 JOD each and we could all look at them before deciding. We also got some sharing platters and salad which were also great. The restaurant is a 3 minutes walk from the Kerak Castle!

This is the place when you want to eat traditional food from jordan for a fair price. The restaurants closer to the castle look rather scammy so we chose this place. The owners were really friendly and explained how they made the best hummus I have ever had. I strongly recommend this place to all the people who come to Karak. :)

Great food and prices and a perfect location right beside Kerak Castle. The owner is extremely friendly and took care to show us all of the food options. The food itself was fantastic with good portion sizes. We all left full. They also have English menus. They do not have a bathroom. Prices range from 1-4 JOD. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner along with a visit to the castle.

Best restaurant experience so far in Jordan! We came close to them closing, but we could still dine in and got great food and had a lovely service. It was so great we came back the other day for brunch. The omlettes are really great for that, but also every other dish tasted fantasic. The best thing about the restaurant is the welcoming atmosphere! Everybody wants to make you feel welcome and comfortable and has a smile on their face. You really feel like you experience the food and hospitality of Jordan best!

The owner is one of the friendliest Jordanians we met during our travels and could speak good English - the food was all home made he took us into the kitchen and showed us what he had cooked up that day - all fresh and it was delicious!

We have been here after our visit the Castle. I highly recommend this place. Very tasty food, good prices and the owner and his son is very friendly. They helped us to find accomodation in Al-Karak. The restaurant founded by the father of the current owner and his son is working there also, so its father to son business which is very likeable. :)
