👍👍 Came here on a Friday so the tourist train didn't have a schedule anymore.. The place is cool near the mountains, there's a coffee shop inside, there's live music too.. There's education about railroad history, the old trains are still very well maintained, the kids are happy to be invited here. . People often mention train, trains, museum, tourist,

Historical place for train enthusiast. Has lots of ancient engine and station equipment back to 19th century. Public toilet was old but clean.

I really enjoyed visiting the Ambarawa Railway Museum, which is a museum that displays various railway collections from the colonial era to Indonesian independence. Here, I could see rare geared steam locomotives, classic diesel trains that were still in operation, and various types of historic trains and carriages. I can also enjoy a tourist trip by train using an active towing locomotive, which takes me through beautiful and memorable natural scenery. This museum is very well maintained and clean, and has complete facilities, such as toilets, canteens and parking. This museum is very suitable for anyone to visit, whether children, teenagers or adults. Good for educating children, especially those who like trains. You can take the train and there is also electric scooter rental, there is live music, costume rental for photos. This museum can be an educational and entertaining tourist option in Central Java. I give this museum a score of 4 out of 5. I feel satisfied with my experience at this museum, and I hope that this museum can continue to be maintained and improved. I also hope that this museum can be a motivation for the younger generation to respect and maintain the cultural heritage of railways in Indonesia.

Pleasant. Tourist attractions that introduce the history of railways around Semarang, there are historical guides, trains that can make us nostalgic for the places that this train used to pass through. There is Mr. Meneer who tells about the history of this train.

At first I wasn't very excited, but since the little boy was whining a lot, I decided to stop.. The place turned out to be nice, cool, always informative, recommended for parents who want to educate their children about Indonesian railways... It's just better to come on the weekend so you can take the tourist train...

Feels like entering a space into the past with authentic ornaments and items. The atmosphere is very comfortable and there is a lot of knowledge about trains from the beginning until now. If you want to take the tourist train tour, it's better to come at 6 o'clock because the queue is long and you might get the morning train schedule.
