#letsguide The Silayukti Temple in Padangbai bay is something amazing. The statue of Empu Baradah is facing the Sea. There are several ceremonies conducted here in traditional way which attracts lots of local citizens. What I could observe is the temple, it premises, streets all are littered. Garbage is thrown around everywhere. I'm sure it's not the tourists, but the devotees who visit the temple be responsible. Normally, Balinese people are very particular about garbage disposal and Go Green, Save the Earth principles are followed. But here it's not seen May I request you all locals to take care of Padangbai .

Great surounding near the beach. The sound of the wave is peaceful. Sometimes monkeys peep when we are praying. But they are manageable.

Silayukti Temple, perched gracefully on Bali's southern coast, emanates a serene charm that beckons both history enthusiasts and spiritual seekers. The seaside setting offers a picturesque view, creating a tranquil ambiance for contemplation. The ancient stone carvings and remnants tell tales of Balinese cultural heritage, inviting visitors to delve into the island's rich past. Though smaller in scale, Silayukti Temple holds a unique allure, blending spirituality with coastal beauty. The absence of crowds enhances the meditative atmosphere, allowing for a more intimate connection with Bali's historical roots. Silayukti Temple stands as a hidden gem, unveiling the island's cultural tapestry.

Have to watch out in this village its run as a racket to rip tourists off. Bottled water is fixed at 15 thousand a bottle when it should be 8to10 thousand, same with washing 35 a kg instead of 20. They charge you to come and go from the village and some of the beaches 10 thousand and no foreign taxi is allowed to enter town or its harassed. No Go gek drivers allowed. The Taxi I arrived on, a guy on a scooter was bashing the back window of the taxi tell in him to pull over and shaking his fist. It was quite distressing the violence and aggression he displayed. You can see it in other posts as well they harass them out of town. If you don't mind being ripped off by locals then no problem.

πŸ‘ This Beach has soft dark sand. Waves are pretty good, with few surfers. Its not very clean, was a lot of garbage floating around in the beginning of the Beach. There is a few stores that sell water, cookies and snacks etc. closeby. ☺️ Good parking space. Please hit πŸ‘ If you find this useful.
