More than 1500 year old temple. Believed to be built by pallavi dynasty as it's building style represents carving of stone in small hill. It was temple of Lord Narasimha who have third eye . Apart from this milagu (pepper) dosai with podi is very good. Turmeric rice paste ia good. Parking facility is there. MTC Bus and EMU local trains (from chengalpet / from chennai beach) are having good connect to this place.

One of the diyadesam in and around chennai limits. Its built by pallavas some 1500 years ago. Moolavar is sri narasingaperumal with his consorts thaiyaar sri ahobilavalli at right side and sri andal thaiyaar at left side. As per bhattacharyar, perumal is in ugrakolam (ferocious) after killing iranyaatchan and having a third eye (speciality) and gave dharsan to japaali maharishi. Temple can be reached by road (GST road and Singaperumal koil stopping), rail (Singaperumal railway station). Please try to visit atleast once.

Amazing and Favourite temple.. you can feel positivity and divine on entering the temple… Must visit Temple. You can bring some fruits for feeding a lot of Monkeys. Podi dosa is the famous Prasadam here. Car can be easily parked in and around the temple they charge 30rs for car parking, without even any proper parking place. You can go for girivalam around the temple. Weekends open upto 12.30 to 1.00 pm

Padalathri Narasimhar Temple or Narasimhar Temple (also called Singaperumal Koil) is dedicated to Hindu god Vishnu (Narasimha) located in Singaperumal Koil, near Chennai City, in the South Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Constructed as rock-cut architecture, dedicated to Vishnu, who is worshipped as Narasimhar, and his consort Lakshmi as Ahobilavalli, the temple was built by the Pallavas during the 8th century. Earlier in Kanchipuram district, it is now under Chengalpattu district. The temple is Classified one among the 108 Abhimana Kshethram of Vaishnavate tradition.

Located inside a small street just 100m from main gst road. A vast open car parking is available backside of temple. Don't forget to visit the Hanuman temple located just at the entrance of parking area. Though small it's a lovely place to give mental peace. Reg the maim temple, it's a powerful temple where third eye of Narasimha swami is shown during aarthi. Located within a small hill, it's a cave carved temple which is worth visiting. Don't ever miss the food items from pradadham stall. Tamarind rice, podi dosa and kesari etc. tasted divinely delicious 😋

2000 years old temple built during Pallavas period. During aradhanai, devotees are given an opportunity to see Narasimars third eye. A soothing place and once done wit prayers when we come out, there is a prasatam stall, where a unique podi dosa served in lotus leaf and pongal, puliothari etc available. While we step up , can witness the cave or small hill within which the temple is available.

Om Narasimhayah namah! We had darshan of Padalathri Narasimha Perumal today morning. Though it was a public holiday (Tuesday) we were able to get darshan in few minutes. A must visit temple with the family. Parking: Opposite to main temple entrance there is ample car parking space for more than 25 cars. There was no parking fee collected. Prasadam: Prasadam counter inside the temple premises serves Puliyodharai, Sarkarai Pongal, Kesari and the must try Milagu Podi dosa. Temple Open time: Morning: 7:00-12:30pm Evening: 4:30-8:30pm

Sri Pataladhri Narasimhar swamy's main sanctum is built under a small hillock. Great vibes of Narasimhar who has a unique 3rd eye. Very powerful deity and the mother's name is Ahobilavalli thayar

This is a place we frequent. The queue system is good and one can have a darshan of the deity. We often go there whenever in the family is unwell. Our prayers are mostly answered. We also donate towards Annadhanam. This service is well organized and one can book online.
