Worst hospital in Bangalore never go to the hospital they are playing with patients making them to wait for 2days after discharge and billing people are fiting with the patients . 444000 was the bill and sent to medi assist we received the approval remaining the said us to pay rs. 59520 and gave the clearance to go home . After coming down with the patient they are telling us to pay 2lakh and not allowing us to go home . Requesting not to go to the hospital.

Giving Star for Doctors as it was good experience as usual. Nursing Experience was & is bad. When this was complained to PRO as part of escalation matrix it was just a formality talk that happened post which again the nursing staff were more rude & stubborn as we complained.. So totally the nursing aspect is very bad & they are very neglecting & they forget few medicines & we have to keep reminding them above this they get irritated.. Few of them are good but day care nursing staff was the worst. Guess when a patient is complaining it should be addressed properly & has to be taken seriously. There schedule are based on there convenience & patient concerns are not respected

One of the reliable and trustworthy hospitals in Nagarbhavi, they do take care of the patients well. I really want to take names here as they treated my mother (Jayanthi K H) well.... Ashwini, Harshitha, Rajendra, Anu and Gowri from Dialysis unit is doing a commendable job in calming down the dialysis patients and treat the patients as their own family members. Secondly, Ganesh Kamat from the insurance department is doing a great job by helping us in claims at the time of discharge, he will be always ready to help us, kudos to him. Want to thank all the nurses and doctors especially Dr. Veerabhadra Gupta sir who is a Nephrologist as he will always be on his toes to treat his patients with respect and love, he visits the hospital at 11 PM or 12 PM if he comes to know that a patient is in need of him, thank you for your service! Last but not the least all the people from security team needs a big salute as they will manage people well especially Paramesh Rajappa who is very people friendly and interact well with the attenders and patients. Oh I forgot one more name, Sanju from the bakery unit located in front of the hospital, he is nice guy who is always smiling and make sure he brings smile at people's face. Hospital is full of construction dust and very strong paint smell! Recently I had my mother admitted in Fortis Nagarabhavi for viral fever and hospital bill came up 30k for 2 days. With this high charges the services were pathetic and surprisingly we were charged for twin sharing while we where there in a three sharing. We did find many other discrepancies when we went through the bill provided during the discharge. Enquired at the front desk (Harshith) who were very rude and arrogant to say we don’t know what treatments were give or which doc visited. Nobody there knew what they were doing, wrong billing in the name of some other doctor, nurses were extremely busy with computers and files, janitors never come ever after calling for 10times! This is the worst place to go when one needs care.

I don't even wish to give a single star. The 1 star I am giving is for the nurses, security and other hospital staff. My father was admitted with brain trauma and was suggested surgery after initial emergency procedures and test. We had informed them about our insurance and opted for cashless service. I was given an approximate rate of Rs. 404000/- for 7 days (Including Surgery, ICU, Medicines, Doctor charge etc.). This amounts to approximately Rs. 58000/- per day. However after 3 days, post surgery and stay in ICU we shifted to different hospital. The final bill given to us was around Rs. 350000/-. They also mentioned a discount of Rs. 26000/- and gave the total bill of Rs. 324000/- which amounts to approximately Rs. 108000/- per day. Almost double the estimation given. I understand that estimation is not the exact amount and there might be slight increase of say 20-25%. Accordingly with this much increase, our bill should have been around Rs. 217500/- (For 3 days with 25% increase in approximate rate) and with discount it should have come down below 2 lakhs. Infact on the day of discharge, in the afternoon we went and verified at the billing counter as to what is the amount till now so that we could arrange the remaining amount other than insurance company pays. She told me the bill was around 232000/-. I repeatedly asked if this has included surgery and other costs. She said yes and the final bill has to include only few small costs (like that day's medicine, doctor charges and other consumables). So we were anticipating a bill of around Rs. 250000/- (which is also not justified as per the estimation given). When questioned about this, the billing manager Sushma was very rude in her behavior and response. She showed us some chart book telling that she has given us discounted price only something blah blah which was not satisfactory. She is so arrogant and impolite with the patient's family. Moreover she doesn't even spare two mins of time to even talk to us properly. We had to wait for more than 2 hours since she was in some meeting. Since we were getting late to shift from this place we were following up with the insurance handling person Mr. Ravindra whether the amount has been approved and released from the insurance company or not. He started yelling on my elderly mother who is already distressed (One due to trauma to her husband, second due to the Huge bill received). So to conclude, I would mention that this hospital is not for common people. They only look forward to loot people as soon as we enter. I have not mentioned anything about the surgery and treatment here which I will discuss in another review. PLEASE DON'T GO TO THIS HOSPITAL EVEN IF IT'S EMERGENCY. QUICKLY BOOK AN AMBULANCE AND TAKE THE PATIENT TO A CHEAPER HOSPITAL. THE TREATMENT A ND EMDICINE IS SAME EVERYWHERE. AS PER MY EXPERIENCE, THE EXPERTISE YOU GET IS ALSO ALMOST SAME EVERYWHERE.

Have been visited this hospital for Bone fracture surgery. POS: Dr Manjunath Kodihally has treated well and has explained in detail post surgery. Hospital infrastructure and facilities is good. Cons: Not happy about hospital staff, response is very slow and they always follow protocol even if the patient has some emergency, poor nursing staff service. When comes to final bill, they simply add multiple Doctor visits, even though doctor has not visited and they show case papers for reference if we ask. This is a kind of false details hospital adds in your final bill with additional charges like admission, documentation, TPA, medicines, pain management etc. Too many particulars added in final bill just to make huge bill amount.

Fortis (Nagarbhavi) is a very hospitable hospital, took care of me very well while I was been admitted there, they did proper diagnosis and treatment. All the housekeeping staff, other staff, nurses, Dr. Bhojamma (Physician), Dr. Kiran S (Gastroenterologist) and Dr. Narayan Prasad (Surgeon) are very friendly and available any time of the hour even on video call for the consultation. The room was also very neat and tidy. The food provided by the Canteen was good too, special thanks to Armaan for catering my food requirements. Highly recommended.

I was admitted for severe asthmatic condition at Fortis Nagarbhavi few days ago. Dr. Majeed Pasha is an excellent and ultimate pulmonologist who treats acute and chronic asthma patients. His systematic diagnosis and treatment made me to recover in two days. He is a highly trustworthy doctor for allergy treatment. Special thanks to Dr. Bojamma and her team for their timely visit and gave wonderful inputs for the speedy recovery. Nurse staff not forget to mention Gayathri, Alex, Pramila sister, Archa and others, housekeeping services were fantastic. Food services were good and special mention to Chandan, Sadam and Darshan did a nice job. Great medical team with knowledgeable doctors. My experience @Fortis, Nagarbhavi was really good.

Require lot of improvement. Look at special room fan dust, bird droppings in bathroom, cleanliness of bathroom name a few. Being nabh certified everybody in hurry to take signature without even courtesy to explain why signature is being taken. We have been residing near Nagarbhavi for the past 25 years, and Fortis Hospital, formerly Wockhardt Hospital, has been our preferred healthcare destination. The proximity to our home is convenient, but what truly sets it apart is the exceptional panel of doctors, including Dr. Anantha Padmanabha, Dr. Manjunath Kodihally, Dr. Pavan Rasalkar, and more. Recently, my father-in-law underwent knee replacement surgery, and we were highly impressed with the professionalism and care across all departments. The procedures, treatment, medication, nursing, security, pantry, and dietary services were exemplary. The courteous staff played a crucial role in his speedy recovery. We've noticed a significant improvement in services, and it's evident that our feedback and suggestions are valued and implemented. We are genuinely pleased with the overall experience at Fortis Hospital.

We took our father in law to this hospital on recommendation of doctor from another hospital for financial dealing. This hospital is worst than government hospital. Care less staff unhygienic private ward.blood marks on walls,Bedsheets, and curtains. No sanitizer and soap in toilets. More over , they talk package in lakhs and at the ttime of discharge they will charge extra . They will treat us like theifs. Don't have proper communication. Very bad experience. Not only has she taken great care of my mother’s health, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. This is one of the best hospital in Bangalore. My mother in law was operated for "Hernia" and she was wrongly operated and mislead us in Sagar hospital and looted money from us, even after 6months she was facing lot of problem. Later we took her to *Fortis hospital Nagarabhavi and Dr Hanumanthaiah* clearly explained about the complication and also gave us a confidence that he will operate it successfully. Finally we admitted her to hospital and Dr Hanumanthaiah operated for 6 hours and finally she is doing well now and doctor only will call us every day and ask for status of her health. Doctor is very humble and helps patient to come out of fear and lead a comfortable life. I recommend this hospital.

1. Poor admission process: Admission nearly takes one hour , no wonder if patient dies while waiting to get admit 2. Covid negative report: Rapid antigen test kit will be used to determine the covid report. The test kit hardly cost 250 Rs, but I was charged 500 rs 3.Twin sharing rooms has no ventilation, lot of noise due to drilling work in the same building. Room door are pathetic which makes lots of noise when you open and close. Too much noise /galata from staff members and house keeping , not sure If I was hospital or fish market. I could not even take rest for 10 minutes due to the very loud noise. 4:Beware of hidden charges and pathetic Insurance department : My discharge process was initiated at 6 AM in the morning on Monday but Fortis insurance department has sent my final discharge summary to my insurance at 3.30PM in after following up multiple times. No wonder it would have taken another day to send them if I haven't follow up. Very Pathetic I never used pantry service as I stay nearby but still I was charged around 700 rs in final bill telling "patient diet". laundry service : 93 rs Admission charges : 372 documentation charges : 558 TPA processing charges : 930 (I fought with billing department and I haven't paid patient diet and laundry charges) Can you "Fortis" management explain me what do you mean by documentation charges here? I never got proper discharge summary explaining observation and detail analysis of surgery performed during laparoscopic. I never got CD of my surgery. I was charged around 6k for some scissor used during surgery but no where in the report is mentioned why that scissor used? I never got proper bill for the money that I paid for the scissor .

One of the pathetic services i have ever seen. Insurance process takes hell lot of time. (Please note that its not that insurance company delays the process, these ppl sends the documents late, inspite of informing prior), when asked they complain saying we have to get this / that approval, waiting for final bill from ICU / pharmacy almost all possible departments.

Overall Service was good. We had been for nose bleed for my mother. ENT specialist was very efficient. As soon as we reached emergency they immediately contacted the different doctors and tried to diagnose the cause. After admission also doctors visited regularly and addressed all problems. Rooms are neat clean and regularly sanitized. But discharge took very long time. It took more than 8hrs.

Worst experience. I went along with my wife as her anomaly scanning was due in 5th month pregnancy. Later I learnt that they don't allow anyone inside apart from the patient. When asked, they said that due to covid we don't allow anyone inside. If covid is the reason then why don't your employees wear mask in the reception or near OPD. specialized hospitals like mother hood or cloud Nine allow the family members to accompany the patient and doctor's show them growth of baby. Thats a special moment for any parent to be or assisting family member. I don't recommend this hospital. Guys think twice before u visit this hospital.

Had admitted my Dad for CABG Surgery. It took 4.5 hours for the surgery to successful completion. Excellent services by staff both pre and post surgery. Private room given to my spouse dint have even small window, no vwntiventil, lot of noise due to drilling work in the same building. Management and staff did not care for my request to halt the work for few hours. We could not even take rest for 10 minutes due to the very loud noise. So, please avoid this hospital for at least 10 months.

We are very happy with the care taken by the doctors, nurses and house keeping team of Nagarbhavi Fortis and very much thankful to them. The hospital premises is very clean and even the room and toilet are kept very clean by often moping, cleaning, washing and sanitisation. Sisters are very friendly and service minded. Doctors are really super assets of Fortis, with their treatment, care and experience my wife could restore back after a major surgery like hysterectomy and able to walk with in few hours of surgery and discharged after two days only. Hello, overall a not bad experience Pros, nursing and house keeping service was really good especially the service given by sister priyanka and manjula aunty(house keeping dept) was excellent Cons, Very slow in their procedures, scanning doctor was very careless and was on the phone for 20mins when patient was on the bed in scanning room, pre admission procedures are very slow, privacy is very less in twin sharing rooms(difficult to get private rooms in covid times), only few staff are good at nursing n house keeping. Beds are quite old, no multi- Speciality hospital feels. More like a normal nursing home. Worthless for the amount u pay for hospital.

Security lapse.surgery went very well,doctors are good.whatever queries & concerns regarding surgery & post surgery was attended. But there is a security lapse.As I was in surgery my attendants were away from the room,the purse was stolen from the handbag.they should lock the door immediately when nobody is in the room.when the theft was informed to the authorities no action was taken. So beware,don't keep any valuables even after locking the doors.

All the services were good, except the discharge process, it took longer than expected time almost 7 hours . Pantry services were excellent and on time with quality food. Both the pantry guys are very humble. The house keeping team does their work with dedication and smile.

Improper communication, no teams are in sync we are left with only some pointed fingers. 2. After 3 days of stay in the hospital the security guard makes a fuss about attender pass and restricts entry claiming it's important. 3. Except for few nurses, rest all are only whiling away time and show there frustration in patients. Duty Dr.Rashmi present on 06/11/22 Sun can learn some basic sense of dealing with people more keen on calling it a day and rushing out of the hospital. Totally lacks service skills 4. I recommend Fortis hospital.Had a good experience here. All the staffs here are well mannered and very caring about the patients. Dr. Manjunath kodihally is highly skilled and empathetic to the concern of his patients.He is personable and also a great listener. I am very happy with the doctor. I visited the hospital for an appointment with dermatologist Dr Bhanu Prakash. The experience was very good. I visited the hospital twice till now, once initially and the second as a followup visit with the Doctor. I found the hospital to be very clean and the ambience was very good. The opd reception staff, paramedic, housekeeping and pharmacy staff behaviour is very good and they do their job efficiently. The Doctor consultation was very good and I found it to be effective. Overall had a good experience.

Excellent service… I would like to mention verticals. Doctors (Dr Bojamma and team) and Sister’s were fantastic in taking care. Facilities and Securities…Nirmal and her teams were brilliant and make sure it’s neat and clean. Over all great gesture and expect same services in future and get better every day….

Worst experience ever. There were tests to be conducted on discharge. On follow up, it was understood that they didnt send the sample for the test.The nurses were irresponsible and they don't even know about the test. When the doctor prescribes meds for 5 days, pharmacy says they can't provide for 5 days instead have to take for 15 days ie a full sheet. They all think that they are having fun with patients. Nurses seemed too inexperienced. Labs, pharmacy, OPD,nurses nowhere there is cordination. A hospital that doesn't uphold its main agenda which is hospitality. It is just another business market.

Hi All, Writing this review after my wife got discharged on 15 Feb 2023. She was admitted in this hospital from 13 Feb 2023 - 15 Feb 2023. My wife was admitted to twin sharing ward as she having frequent vomits and had lost 4 kgs and she was pregnant. My wife was admitted in 324 room There are numerous issues. Will list them out point by point 1. In twin sharing ward there was fan which pointed to only to the patient. Attendent/ someone who's along with patient wouldn't get air. ( We asked to turn on AC since we had new born baby beside us it was denied. Not sure if AC worked too. Someone who goes please write a review if AC works 2. We were provided with a ringing bell, we were told if we press it nurses would attend us. We kept on ringing bell rarely nurses come and attend. We have to go to nurse station and ask them to come and attend. They will come after 10-15 min. 3. Food - we were delayed in serving food. Breakfast - they used to come to ask at 9-9:30 in the morning what we wanted. Lunch the caterer guy brought the lunch and kept on the desk without notifying us that he brought lunch ( we got a feeling are we in jail?) 4. Regards to billing - They had put extra consumables in the bill- when questioned when have you used these consumables they removed and updated the bill. 5. Insurance/billing - we were covered by insurance. Insurance guys didn't explain how things would work atleast for 10 min? All they gave is bill and expecting us to pay Atleast explain the patient what have you charge/ answer the queries of a person with courtesy Only good thing was - I reported all these issues with the patient welfare officer Geeta mam - She called all the heads like nursing heads, catering guys and made them listen our feedback and acted on our feedback quickly. Veena mam also was very generous to listen to our feedback very patiently I would urge the management to do surprise visits and admit like a patient in your own hospital & experience how things go in their own hospital. FORTIS is BRAND. Please don't spoil your name by yourself. Hope this feedback is taken seriously and acted upon on the above points quickly. Thank you

The experience was really good. Had admitted my wife for LSCS here. The admission and discharge process went smooth. Special thanks to Dr. Sowmya maam. The other doctors involved were also good. The nursing staffs were so responsive and took good care of baby and mother. The non medical staffs and the cleaning staffs were also excellent. Thanks everyone for taking good care.

Worst service in this hospital. Recipients staff not care the guidelines the patients. I am losing two days. When going for scanning they told me machine is repairing. Now I am treated another hospital very good guidance.

This hospital has abnormal parking charges. That idiot parking charge collector does not give any token. Just for parking for 50 minutes he took Rs.70 from me. This is very abnormal and is more than the charge collected by multiplexes and malls. I'm very sure that even hospital management are supporting them. This hospital is taking advantage of the situation and just snatching money without any mercy . It is very sad to see that hospitals are doing business in such an unethical way. And also the estimate given to me for my father's operation including all charges were 2.75 lakhs .but after we said we will claim from insurance they had made the total bill of Rs. 4,30,000. After the doctor said to discharge the patient I had signed and given the docs .reception person had lost the insurance copy which I had submitted and they even had not informed me, after 3 hours when I went to ask weather the claim was accepted by insurance company. They then said we have lost .sign it n give again .luckily my insurance company settled the claim soon. Else we had to stay in the hospital for 1 more day .

Worst experience, I have admitted in this Hospital on 16 march 23 due to I met with accident neck injury & teeth Jaw broken, immediately teeth jaw surgery has to be done, but before surgery neurology doctor has to check if any nerve is injured & he has to give approval for teeth jaw broken surgery, I am suffering from severe pain neck and teeth jaw broken more than 18hrs & and my condition was getting very critical nearer to death, but neurology doctor was not available for more than 18 hrs, Hospital staff they are just saying we are checking, they are not reporting or updating condition of the patient to family members, the plastic surgeon who attended my case he saying to our family members, if our family members are okay he will go head with teeth Jaw broken surgery, how can he take approval from our family members without neurosurgeon approval, so if any challenges if I am going to face in future without neurosurgeon approval who is response and my saturation level was getting down, finally our family members came to know worst service in this Hospital,hence we shifted to other other Hospital. Still i didn't get any reply from your end, I have shared my contact number.

The best hospital in town. Well maintained infrastructure with good facilities. Hygiene part is one I must mention, the management make sure that the hospital as well as it's premises are clean and safe. Another thing noticed is the hospitality of the staffs which is very rare these days. The staff of the hospital are so kind and always ready to help us in every way possible. No patient came were left unattented as they enter into the emergency care.

ICU nursing Staff - Coming to the ICU nursing Staff Sister Sandhya, Brother Shankar, Brother Parshuram, Sister Shalini have been excellent towards their job. Their commitment towards their job is outstanding. I have been very lucky to get my post surgery care under these hard working and dedicated staff.No words can describe their hard work and care given to me. I am forever grateful for their care towards me and God bless them all. House keeping- All of the house keeping staff are excellent. Physiotherapy- Physiotherapy post surgery was very good and I want to thank the team for all the excersises which helped me to recover after my surgery. Food catering and Dietician- Thank you for taking care of my food during the surgery and the dieticians for suggesting the right food during my recovery stage. Lab staff are also excellent. What is the use of being equipped with such good equipments and technology? With overpriced facilities. If you guys don't even inform the attendants about what is going on inside the ICU? It's more than 12 hours and I don't even know what is the status. Last time when I was admitted in 2011, your team was really doing great. Unfortunately your standards inside ICU looks like it's going down the drain. Positive thing - I saw an ex patient taking time to come back and visit ICU staff to thank then for the help they had received previously. But my experience is really bad

I had been here for my pacemaker implantation. I was given HDU, High Dependency Unit from the time I reported to the hospital. Darshan Krishnappa from Jayadeva performed my operation and all is well. The nursing staff and all doctors were friendly, took care of me and also prioritised ward allocation. I have to callout that the food, coffee and any snack provided was always served cold. Though I spoke to some in-charge, nothing improved. Something is horribly bad in FOOD PLANNING department. I wish you take this seriously and fix it asap so that no patient is ever let down in food at your hospital.

Good Hospitality. The stuffs at the hospital are very friendly and they took care of me and my baby very well during pre and post delivery. I am consulting dr. Chandrika Ananda, and dr. Preeth Shetty for my baby, both are well experienced doctors. Had bad experience once or twice with general physician as we booked appointment at 12 but the physician came at 2 PM. The stuffs should intimate the patients if the physicians are coming late and they should follow FCFS method.

The service was very good. We had a good private room very hygienic... Can get treated even without attendent from our side. Good care from the hospital management & nursing side.
