Magic, go early morning when no one is around and you have a million dollar swimming pool to yourself :) , as someone else posted the fish do nibble your feet if you sit quietly at the side of the water.

There are no words to describe this glorious natural oasis. It's easy to access, just a short walk past Fortescue Falls. It's beautifully clean, the water is so refreshing. The water is fairly deep so recommend good swimmers here. There's a ladder to get in and there are little fish which nibble at your feet like they are cleaning them if you sit there awhile! If you don't want them to then don't sit there just hop in and swim away. It's meant to be kept quiet as it is a sacred place to Aboriginal people. We will never forget this paradise. Beautiful! So quite place with shade and a small waterfall. We went there two times just to relax and have a swim Take a lot of water with you cause it can get really warm in the gorges

Its a beautiful spot, nit too hard to get to, the staircase into the gorge is the hardest part, then a small walk through an area with beautiful trees and plants, look up and you will see and hear the bats in the trees. Then you get to the fern pool which is a lovely swimming spot although the water is quite chilly, you can swim over to the waterfall and sit under it 😊

Absolutely fantastical. It's a bit of a hectic off-road trip to get there (or an hour drive on road) and a lot of stairs to get down to the track to the pool, but man, what a treat for your soul when you arrive. A little isolated pool, amazingly clean and cool water with a beautiful waterfall in the back drop. 10/10 well worth the visit.

Stunning place, you can swim here and enjoy the waterfall. To come here little bit walking but not that far away. The water is clean and you can even see the fish swimming near you.

Super short hike, we did in flip flops. Water isn’t as clean as everyone claims it is, maybe they haven’t gone to all the pools around Karinjini. Bat droppings everywhere in the water (aka- NOT clean) & asbestos on the rocks. Still cool to see, go behind the falls for a cool pic inside the ‘cave’.

Absolutely unforgettable. Beautiful spot, so clean and special. There were hundreds of flying foxes hanging in the trees above keeping cool. I never even knew this place existed. I could've spent hours there.

Beautiful! A bit cold but amazing. Fern Pool and Fortescue Falls, within Dales Gorge are breathtaking natural wonders that left us in awe. Our journey began with a hike through Dales Gorge, a picturesque trail that culminated in the stunning sight of Fortescue Falls. The falls provided the perfect refreshing oasis after a hot and rewarding hike. What makes Fortescue Falls even more appealing is its convenient proximity to Dales Campground, making it an easily accessible gem for campers. The short walk from the campground adds to the allure, making it an ideal destination for those looking to combine nature and relaxation. The hike through Dales Gorge was well-paced, offering just the right level of challenge without being overly strenuous. It provided a scenic journey, and reaching Fortescue Falls felt like a rewarding achievement. The falls themselves are not only a visual delight but also invite you to take a revitalizing swim – a perfect way to cool off and cap off the hiking experience. The added bonus of Fern Pool along the hike was a pleasant surprise. This natural pool, along with Fortescue Falls, offered excellent swimming opportunities. The combination of the beautiful surroundings, the invigorating hike, and the refreshing water made Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool a highlight of our visit to Karijini. For nature enthusiasts and those seeking a picturesque and refreshing adventure, Fortescue Falls and the associated hike through Dales Gorge are highly recommended. The experience strikes a perfect balance, providing both natural beauty and an enjoyable outdoor activity.

A small attractive swimming pool with a a waterfall at the far end. It is accessible by a 300 m walking track from Fortescue Falls. Swimming is allowed but patrons are requested to enter/leave the water quietly as it is a culturally importance place for the Indigenous people.

Wow! What a hidden gem! This here is the most loveliest falls we have seen, as it’s so soothing to hear the light falls going onto the water which is such a beautiful blue colour. It is an moderate walk from Fortescue Falls (maybe 200m one way), don’t miss it. Come early if you want a quiet lovely swim. “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.

Beautiful spot to take a swim and enjoy the little waterfall fern pool has to offer especially after the wet season. There's even little fish in the swimming hole that will have a little nip at your dead skin

Gorgeous swimming hole with a waterfall that you can swim up and sit behind. It’s much bigger than I expected, also much busier due to school holidays. Definitely worth it on your visit to the National park! The walk is quite easy, just a lot of stairs down the gorge.

Entrance is through the Fortescue gorge, has a secluded natural feel. A great fresh water swimming pool with a picture-esk water fall at the far end, which you can sit under.

(Translated by Google) Along the way, the stone wall spreads the fern, and there are large groups of flying foxes in the woods (should?) hanging upside down on the tall trees to rest and sleep. On the road, we pretend that we are also feeling the baptism of the gods in the holy pond. I didn't want to get wet in the morning, so I didn't get into the water. The uncles and aunts in the water seemed to be very happy (playing at the waterfall hole). There were some dead leaves on the water. The pool was quite clear. Standing by the pool, you can see the fish at the bottom of the pool.
