Very Nice place to rejuvenate and Have refresh feel. Oil massage available at Rs.100-150 full body. The Waterfall is not from big heights but a Decent one. Good clean water,If Its Raining You will be lucky enough to get heavy Fall. A good place for a quick refreshment. There are lot of monkeys ๐Ÿ’. Beware of belongings, No plastic bags or carry bags having any food items. Closely shut all the windows if traveling by Car/Bus. If you have bike Tank Pouch-Pockets or leather storage with Zip before leaving UnZip & keep it empty. Monkeys will tear it for in search of Food. If you Unzip they will open, peak inside and leave when found empty. Or else be ready to get it repaired ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Water falls all through out the year. Good refreshing place to visit.. itโ€™s a small water falls. Need to be careful near the false as it is slightly skidding Lot of monkeys in and around. Paid Car Parking available. Paid Rooms available for dress change but not so clean. No need to walk long distance to reach the false from parking... just walking few steps will lead to water falls. safe for kids No hotels in and around need to carry ur own food.

Amazing waterfall where you actually get a good massage by the water itself ๐Ÿ˜‚ Not a much trek but easily reachable. A personal transport is recommended and there is also a place for parking. We have food stalls for breakfast, lunch near the falls. Just to stay cautious of the monkeys where you can lose anything to them. Not advisable to keep any stuffs in the pouches on top of the petrol tank of the bike since monkeys explore a lot. There is also a temple near the falls dedicated to Lord Shiv and Parvati. The only cons is people making the place really very ugly by bringing soaps and just throwing it off behind the falls. And disposing off shampoo sachets here and there. Not a proper cleanliness is maintained. Also, there isnโ€™t a proper room to change the clothes for gents.

For me, It is not a place to visit. It is my home where I live. I go over there quite often to get some fresh air. It's not a problem for me spend some 1-2hrs daily here since I live at the same village where falls is.. I'm not exaggerating the things, It is my home ๐Ÿš๏ธ

Two hours from Chennai. Nice place to visit during weekdays. Avoid going weekend. Heavy rush will be there. Try to reach before noon. You can enjoy without crowd.

Waterfall with a good scenic view and temple beside it. But polluted with plastics, soaps and shampoos and no proper maintenance even though it is under AP Tourism scope. Ticket of Rs.10/- for entry. Actually it is a religious place but people wrongly depict it as a picnic spot. The crowd below the waterfall makes it more annoying than enjoying.

It was around 80km from Chennai and we reached in 2hrs approx , route was awesome and must travel roads , The place was good and the first falls on the way is small and nice. You need to walk only around 100m from parking lot to reach the falls. There were two mini food outlets availbel where you can have some food. We ordered well in advance, they charged 500 rupees per kg for chicken, 50 rupees for fish fry and rice for 60 rupees. It was little bit spicy, But it was ok for me. Like if it was useful !

Best thing about this waterfalls is.. It's just 50 meters from parking lot. Hence a family of kids and elders can reach the spot without any discomfort. Amost all other waterfalls in this region needs a 2+ km trekking. . The concern.. As the waterfalls falls just like our shower...all visitors may not like it The water level is less and space to enjoy is very narrow. Hence we have to stand in a crowd. But it's safe with its iron rails. Even if some one falls, they will fall just about 5-10 feet below. Hence no issues about life threatening dangers. Careful with monkey menace.

A weekend place to visit with Family and Friends. A lot of monkeys exist. Enough car parking space is available, they charge 50 for car entry. For fall entry, they charge 20 for adults and free for kids

Good waterfalls for a fun day trip near Tirupati. Good accessibility by car. You need to walk only around 100m from parking lot to reach the falls. There are no good food places nearby, so plan ahead on the food arrangements or you might need to travel to nearby town to get good restaurants.

Okayish place.. Really small water falls. Ideal for large families on a budget, religious pilgrimage or bachelors. Lots of thrash and broken beer bottles lying around. Wouldn't recommend for safety conscious folks... Beware of the monkeys, they steal anything even in your hand. Including my ice cream :(

Trekking towards the falls makes more adventurous. There is a small pond over there and very pure and fresh. Suitable for bachelors โ˜บ๏ธ There is no entrance ticket but someone stands at the entrance and collect amount based on the count. Good place to visit !!!

It's a good place to have some fun with friends and family. Scenery is very good and you can have fresh waterfall here. The problem is. there is no special queue for ladies, so you need to prefer the timing where you can find less crowd. The total are to enjoy the shower is very short and only very few people can enjoy the shower at a time. 1 prefer the best timing as morning 10. 3 to 12 pm, this is the time 1 don't find much crowd. Parking fee for 4 wheeler is 50 rupees. But the area is very congested. There is no organized place to park our vehicle. There were two mini food outlets availbel where you can have some food. We ordered well in advance, they charged 500 rupees per kg for chicken, 50 rupees for fish try and rice for 60 rupees. It was little bit spicy. But it was ok for me.

WE VISITED ON 20.10.2021 , It was around 80km from Chennai and we reached in 2hrs approx , route was awesome and must travel roads , The place was good and the first falls on the way is small and nice (suitable for family) and the second one which comes inside the temple is okayish and that's only suitable for families so untill this it's best for a one day trip for family , but if it's a boys gang , go for the 3rd waterfall which has to be reached with 20min of rough trekking but it's worth it. Water flow is amazing there and kinda private swimming pool , alot of fishes but they never harm . It was a amazing trip and must visit location. I've put the pictures of all 3 falls below ! Like if it was useful !

As usual like other falls this place too got ruined by our people. (mostly crowded always) Full of garbages and liquor bottles. People lacking in responsibility on keeping our natural habitat clean and green. It gives quite disappointment and distress. Please do not litter with garbages... Please๐Ÿ™ (Entry ticket for vehicle Rs. 10, 15, 20 and individuals Rs. 5) 23-07-2021

A really good getaway place from Chennai. Situated at just 85km from Chennai, this place is really a kind of, therapy. After a long hectic schedule, for most of us, this is a must to-go place. The place is suitable, even for families. Entry is just 5rs per person, Car Parking is 50rs per car. Food is available there, and the best part is that. There are some people there, and before going for a bath, we could just order food over there, and they'd cook it fresh for us. They only use Country Chicken(เฎจเฎพเฎŸเฏเฎŸเฏเฎ•เฏเฎ•เฏ‹เฎดเฎฟ), fish. There are Veg options too. The food too, was really affordable. And guys, beware, there are a lot of monkeys in the locality, so be careful while carrying snacks and eatables. Overall, 5/5 for the place, 4.5/5 for food.

Went on Oct 1st (Sunday), around 1 pm. Most of the early crowds had dispersed then. Not much water though (on Oct 1). Two places you can stand one under the falls and another below that (for people who donโ€™t like to get wet and just for photos). The main water falling place is just 30 sq ft (on Oct 1st) so crowded. Once people enter that place they are unwilling to come out to give others opportunity. Entry 10โ‚น per person, car parking 50โ‚น. Food: I saw two places one near the falls (where there are shops) and another just when you enter the hill, there is a small village. I ate in that village place but I donโ€™t recommend it unless you donโ€™t have any other option. You have to eat outside either seated in a cot or table. There are more than 10 dogs that will surround you, but does no harm though. Fish fry and country chicken was good. Rest all okay.

Kailasa Kona - My home town(Narayanavanam) near by 5 KM location, Such a wonderful water falls hidden inside these mountains. Sure lot of enjoyments are there in this natural endeavours. Need to develope transportation facility as much required. In weekends there is a huge crowd, so prepared in week days, it'll gives you some more space. In this falls there is a Shiva Parvathy temple - believed to be during Sri Padamavathi Sametha Kalyana Vekateswara swamy, Kalyana(Marriage)at Narayanavanam Temple(birth place of Sri Padamavathy Devi) they stayed here. Please visit all these must visit places and get a soul full tour.

Visited this place on 26/12/2021 Summary: Went to this place for weekend drive. It was an average falls with minimal water flow. The place is quite small to stand and take shower. Both Men and Women have same to place to take shower. There was no proper amenities around the falls. There was mini water stagnant in bottom which is much isolated and great for bachelors.

Good travel experience. Road conditions are good. Food and snacks available. Parking free. Falls entry fees only 10. Food also has a lower cost. Plan before ensuring water level because we went to minimum level only.

Another Easily Accessible Waterfalls! Hardly Takes 10 Mins From The Parking to Reach This Mini Falls โค๏ธ, Water Flow is Good Now, Not Much Deep one can Easily Bath Here Without Any Fear. There are Much More Small Ponds Above this Falls Where We Can Bath Privately and One more Main Hidden Falls is At The Top of This Trek Path!

Nice wall falls.. like heavy rain breeze.. Water drops feels like injection on ears. Nearby temple and jeeva samathi is there. Best for family and kids as there is no need to trekking to reach falls. Enter ticket and park tickets mandatory.

Please avoid this place during weekends, too crowded. Don't carry snacks while going to the falls, there are lot of monkeys on the way to the falls. Water flow is very less now, best to visit during Monsoon and on weekdays.

There is not much to enjoy. The water from the falls are polluted to our view. But the falling water is cool and refreshing. We need to pay โ‚น10 per person along with โ‚น50 for bike parking to enjoy this few minutes fun. If you are coming to Nagalapuram, visit here once , it's Fun to come here once to enjoyy and shower in nature with your family and friends.

A weekend place to visit with family. Lot of monkeys exists. Enough car parking space is available, they charge 50 for car entry. For falls entry, they charge 20 for adults and free for kids. They maintain very greenery fully. Oil massage is also available. If we want to spend time with family , can book the APTDC resort which is just outside the falls entrance

  • 3/5 Shobhana S. 1 year ago on Google
Good place to visit if there is good rain and sufficient water for the falls. Can be kept cleaner as there is a lot of plastic and cloth lying around. Public awareness and care in this case will decrease the problem. Beware of monkeys!!

This is one of the worst waterfall i have ever seen. From parking it's just 100-150 mts, very poorly maintained, with lots of garbage here and there. Water flow is very small in amount from a height of about 50-100 mts. Don't go on weekend it will be very crowded. I went on weekday and then it was so much crowded.

  • 4/5 Arun G. 9 months ago on Google
Nice place to visit. Enjoy. This place can be more clean and tidy. Should be properly maintained. Tourist should not use soap and shampoo to avoid polluting the natural resources. In weekend the crowd will be there. Try in weekdays.

Good spot for chill out โ™ฅ๏ธ also secured for families. People's should stop throwing used clothes and papers and covers and local government should take action on that. Other than it's a good place

It was pretty good to go to this kind of places in vacation but not regularly. Water flows all 365 days. The steps have been made there to climb up to the falls easily. It has no management to maintain it organised. Some local people has businesses there like cool drinks and snacks shops. Must be aware of your surroundings to not to fall in the eyes of thieves. Lord shiva temple will be there. No rooms available for changing dresses and also no rest rooms available there. No separate queues or partitions for women. One large area where all people will bath in the falls which makes inconvenience to women there.

One of the best weekend place near chennai. Only thing is you have to check water is there. Before going to falls we ordered a food buy to prepare chicken for breakfast. Had a nice breakfast with idly. 1kg chicken they charge 350/.

One of the best places to enjoy your weekend. Budget place and you can also ask the local ppl to prepare food for you which is homemade as well.. Body massage is at a low cost which is average... ideally a good place to spend your weekend and it's nearby Chennai

It's a good place to attend with family or friends for a day. The first part of falls is very easy to go. If you want to see the water flow beginning point, you have to climb the mountain but the path is very difficult to go. But overall the experience is good.

The place is good for a short one day trip. The sheer breath of the falls have gone down over the years. Best times to visit would be post monsoon after a good rain season. The drive to the place is comfortable. Just be aware of the number of naughty monkeys, avoid packed food or snacks which the cute monkeys would forcefully grab ?
