For us one of the best camping places in Croatia! Such a relaxed and good vibe! Pure relaxation in a casual way. Super nice and relaxed owner. Picking your own place was a party for us! If you are self-sufficient with electricity or do not need electricity, you can drive up very cool to be a little more private there. Cooking utensils and everything are there, you can use the fridge without any problems and your laundry can be washed. Just looking at the site immediately shows what type of campsite this is, humor and no pressure! Our four legged friend was more than welcome and free ♥️ We went by foot for an amazing hike near the campsite. We definitely will come back!!!

Relaxed friendly vibe and good access to some hiking nearby. We paid 29 euros for 2 people, tent and car for one night. Clean facilities and awesome undercover area to cook and socialise ☺️

Amazing camping! Beautiful mountainous environment, quiet and green camping spaces. Many hiking trails of differing difficulties and bouldering/climbing locations are 30 min walk from the camping. Toilets are clean, smell amazing and have a pleasant background music day and night. The host speaks perfect English and is very helpful. We will definitely return whenever we can to sit by the campfire and watch the stars here!

Amazing camp with great location from where you can easily access mountain trails and it takes just 20 min to the beach on the coast. Luka, the host, was very friendly and helpful. Atmosphere is amazing and we really enjoyed our stay here. Will probably come back.

One of the most peaceful places I ever have experienced. 2nd time here. 10 °C cooler than at the coast. No stress. You can stay in beautiful hobbithouses or in your tent. I become relaxed when I arrive here. Wonderful landscape around. No good place for bourgeois.

A great site to stay on, lovely scenery, cooler than the coast in summer and just a relaxed “respectfully” do what you want attitude. Luka will help you out with anything he can, it felt more like a trip to a family’s house than a campsite. Everything is super clean - the only downside were the showers. They were hot enough but could do with some repair work. I especially liked the arrival and departure having no specific time - arrive at 3am, that’s fine! Ha

Very unique camping experience. Interesting design and graphics all over the place. Plenty of space to put your tent and nice view of the mountain peaks around. Campsite is quite well protected from wind by the terrain. Be aware that although it is close proximity from the coast it's close to the top of the mountains. So you need to drive quite meandring and steep road. But the views are worth every mile! :)

The location of Kamp Velebit is just perfect. Higher up the mountains for cooler nights and days. Its cozy and calm. The view from the campsite is amazing. During the night it is also the place to be for stargazers. The host is easy going. You can just pick any spot on the campsite to put up your tent. Sanitary is fine. Peaceful atmosphere and the option for bonfire and a nice get together in the evenings.

We stayed 4 days (3 nights) at this lovely campsite with our scout group. Lots of space, clean sanitary, epic location, really sympathetic owner and cosy campfire. It's also easy to disturb the owner and ask for amazing hiking trails in the area. His door is always open! All summarized, the best camping we had in 15 days Croatia. Strongly recommended!

Lovely, green, quiet and relaxed campsite. Great host, Luka, made us feel at ease immediately. Perfect base for as well hiking in the mountains as a day at the beach. Lovers of lord of the rings and nature can eat their heart out.
