Are you considering an operation at this clinic rec. me to read the article series in UNT about the clinic I see that other surgeons, friends, employees and others connected to the clinic have entered and are writing nice reviews. I fully understand that you support and get the grades up. But the reality is that the aftercare and treatment of the clinic towards its patients does not match what you write. In my review, I am not looking to downplay Dr. Lindahl's competence as a surgeon, but I want the clinic to actually think about its way of responding to criticism and actually how important it is with a good response when complications arise. In my case, it wasn't the infection itself that was troublesome. I was well aware that it could occur. What I was not prepared for, however, was the incredibly unprofessional treatment of clinic manager Ewa Idemar. As well as their thinking that I was "demanding too much" and that I should be "grateful" that I got help on two occasions after much chasing by the clinic. I find it hard to understand that it is asking too much when the infection contributed to fever, chills, vomiting, pain and a big hole in my stomach. I took antibiotics for about 2 months and during these months the clinic went on vacation with the words "just let us know if there is anything, we will contact you on this date". Your sick leave is extended and you will receive the papers on this date. In an email, I receive instructions on how to cut out various stitches myself at home. When the clinic doesn't contact me on the set date and it also takes about 2 more weeks before I get hold of them, the stress is really noticeable. When I convey to Ewa that I need the papers and that I still have a hole in my stomach, it ends up being me, according to them, who has been rude and threatened them. An email comes from Dr. Lindahl that I should apologize to Ewa before I receive my sick leave papers. He is also going to send more invoices because apparently my emails and calls have exceeded what I have paid for. After several weeks of trying to apologize, even though their accusations are not true, to get my papers, it ends with a meeting with Ewa where she makes me understand that I should be grateful that I have been allowed to come twice when I had the infection & where wrong of me to mention Ewa by name, nod or say etc. because it was unpleasant. She says that as clinic manager she decides who gets to talk to Dr L. After that appointment I heard nothing more and at the final checkup Dr. L says that another operation can be performed to remove much of the pain I still have today & the ugly scars. Then I have to pay more but the clinic offers Caroviva Security in all operations & no extra costs should be added if correction is needed. I understand that my complications acc. Dr L is my own fault as I should not have followed their advice on aftercare, which I have done and he also said on several occasions. I will also lose 2 kg "so as not to take the easy route in the form of liposuction". Even though my weight is exactly the weight Dr. L has said I should be for best results (I'm not overweight). In conclusion, I really want you to think before you decide on this clinic. Remember that the negative reviews are not "net trolls" trying to lower the rating. We are real people who are just trying to save you from going through what we went through ourselves.
