Good place for one day escape, not far from Sofia. There is a parking lot available, free of charge, not far from the trail start point. Now, a boat trip along the river is available. Good for birds watching and photosafary. Also, you can rent a kayak.

This place is perfect for a weekend afternoon. Quiet, not very difficult to have a trek. I probably visited in the best time possible - spring! Everything was blooming. I'd definitely come back in the autumn to see some different colours.

Lovely eco-trail suitable for children. It is only 1.7 km per direction but If you want you can rent a boat. The boat would take you all the way to the cave houses.

Lovely and beautiful. Clean and pristine nature. Fun to take a riverboat, water wheel or a kayak along the river. The parking lot is big enough. Could go for more (and cleaner) toilets. Overall, a great place to spend a day walking, picnicking and enjoying nature. For most parts suitable to visit with children, although you have to look after them - it is a river after all.

The trail itself itself is very beautiful and easy to walk. Just at the start of the trail there is a boat company which offers boat tours of the river and trail. I would recommend taking the long route (45 min) which takes you to the end of the river ( you can’t get there by foot) on the way back they can stop you where the trail ends/ starts and you can walk back. This way you are not walking the 3km, you get to enjoy the river and see 2 more caves that you don’t get to see on the trail.

Cool place for a lazy walk. A bit too many noisy teens... Didnt get comments about paying for entrance, it is all free. You pay only if you rent a water bike or kayak. In the end of the path there is a vending machine with drinks and snacks.

A nice place in nature to spend a few hours. The walk it's by a slow river and there is also a lot of vegetation. You can find a cave along the path and a lot of places to sit by. You could also rent a cayac or a pedal boat.

Amazing place, but slippery and muddy in moist Weather. Walking back and forth to point 6 is about 1,5 hrs total, in a decent pace. Proceeding from there is only possible by boat from the point itself or from the entry point of the eco trail. The trail is well marked and have some very unique wooden bridges. Take a little time to check the cave inside, you will not regret it.

Super cool. We went with our boys 6 and 7 who really enjoyed it. Easy to access the bridge... walking or by boat. Very peaceful.

Beautiful scenery, the trekking is about 1 hour but I highly recommend taking the boat ride along the river for around 20USD.

A trail in the forest absolutely worth the visit. This is a fascinating place to drop in with your family and/or friends. It is also really good for photographers, the path goes alongside the river and the views are magnificent, especially at some turns. If you’re going there in the summer, do expect quite a lot of mosquitoes, hot weather, and humidity, because of the river and the low altitude. For me, personally, the mosquitoes part was the only real issue.

It used to be a 5-star review, but due to crowds, loud boats, noisy traders around the trail I can give no more than 2 stars... You can't see the nature over the posted everywhere notes with the prices of the boats. You can't enjoy the quiet blue River over the noise of motor boats. Prepare to wait endless queues of people who don't know what they are going for, on EVERY river bridge! Totally disappointed what tourism did to this beautiful place!

90 min are enough to visit and be back in the parking lot. It was crowded during the weekend. There is a small cave at the end of the trail.

Very beautiful place for a walk! In the end, there is an interesting wood house place (in renovation at the moment) with nice wooden tables and benches where you can sit and relax, maybe when it's ready even eat/drink something. Tip: take a coin with you as there is a prophecy that if you through it in the river your wish will be materialized in your life! ✨

Amazing place for a walk. It's around 40 min in direction. There are also walks with a boat for 15 BGN per person, but I would recommend the old way. The only thing I don't like so much is that the way back is the same way, so you have to turn around 180deg and walk again 40min the same way

Easy to walk but very muddy, so be sure to bring proper boots. A torch might be useful as well, if you want to explore the cave you reach. The best thing about going during late autumn is the lack of people. Since the walk is very easy and very accessible I can imagine this being quite a hit and easily overcrowded.

You have the choice to take a motor boat, which is operated by a guide. Paddle boats or kayaks are for rent and you are on your own. There is a walking part, which is about one third of the total length of the trail. You can come off the boat and walk back for the last part. It's good for kids.

The trail is short, but very well maintained. There's a huge parking lot at the beginning and a few places where you can buy food and drinks. The trail goes next to the river almost the whole time. There are a few gazebos throughout and a bigger picnic area at the end, including a small shop.

Great for a short walk, around 1h30. Be aware of the mosquitoes.

Very nice place for walk. If you are going for the first time there you can take a boat trip.

Nice place for a walk, but during the sunny days you should be very careful because small snakes are present across the river.

Very beautiful trail, easy to hike even for people who are not very active. You can also take a boat on the river for 15lv.
