Breathtaking! The tour guide explanation about the cave makes this beautiful place even more amazing. Getting there is a bit of an adventure itself since there are not many road signs( just some but so faded and rusted it makes you wonder if legit...) leading you there, so make sure you have your satnav ready. At some point you may think you've lost your way there, since the road is very tight and not in best shape, but once you get at the cave, its all worth it! Amazing!

It was great to return to the first cave I ever visited. Well lit cave, not too steep so suitable for kids. The person doing our tour was kind and knowledgeable and had great attitude towards children.

Absolutely fabulous caves, the best I have even seen. Off the beaten path a little and not well sign posted. Was free even with required official guide. PS heard toilets were really bad.

The cave has nothing special to show ! There are 5 big rooms , very much stairs. At all if you are passing by the nearest town , it's good to check it out for 3BGN.

A great cave to visit on your way from Sofia to Varna. Really beautiful and definitely worth seeing, so the small detour of 10 minutes off the main road will give you a good boost to your trip. Temperature inside is 7-10 degrees, so it's really pleasant and refreshing during the summer. Bring some repellent as there are plenty of mosquitos outside the cave. There are guided tours lasting for 20-25min, so you may need to wait for half an hour if you miss the group.

Nice cave. Easily accessible. There is a parking nearby. Take a jacket with you because the temperature inside is 8 - 10 degrees. The tour takes 30 - 40 minutes and the story about the cave is interesting. The guide is a real story teller.

One of the most beautiful caves I've seen, and I've seen a few. Very nice calcite formations, it can be visited only with a guided tour, I had to wait about 30 min to enter. The explanations were only in Bulgarian, but there are some info panels at the entrance were you can find some English description of the site.

Impressive cave to visit. Located up in the mountains, the road is not quite friendly, a lot of areas that needs improvement. The staff is not speaking English and there isn’t any infos in English also. The price for the ticket is 5 leva and you will be guided inside the cave. Don’t forget you jacket before entering

Just an hour and half driving distance from Sofia. Tickets 5 BGN per person that is absolutely bargain compared to a gorgeous and amazing breathtaking 3 billion year rock transformation Opening in summer 9-19 and on the winter 9-17 You need the guide tour to going and it run in the group so if you come alone or couple you might need to wait to go in RECOMMEND . Visiting on 20 Oct 22

Nice place to visit, may be not the best place for small kids. I had to carry my 3 old daughter half of the tour, but it was still fun to visit.

Absolutely stunning and impressive. It's as if it has a life of its own somehow. The impressions, structure, bats, formations, history and limestone impact is beyond amazing. We also saw a small water snake on the walkway path before the cave which was a bonus!

A beautiful cave! It's very easy to walk inside but be aware there are a lot of stairs. The tour is about 30 minutes or so.

5/5 the tour is about 30 minutes with 3 big main halls. There are a lot of stairs but is suitable for families with kids 3++years. We liked it a lot and later at the summer we are going there again.

Spectacular cave with beautiful stalactites. Entrance as of May 2023 was 10lv for adults and 5lv for students which include a guided tour in Bulgarian (not sure if there is an English option). The cave is also very close to the highway, so I highly recommend you pay a visit.

Warning about poor maintenance in this beautiful cave!! The fence near the stairs outside (near the office where you buy tickets) has wide gaps between the poles. My daughter (4 years old) fell down through the poles on her head, it is 2.5 meters high and luckily she is ok. In addition, the stairs outside and inside the cave are not well maintained as well, the stones are not well placed, not always there are proper railings to hold on to (for example, the railing inside the cave ends before the stairs end). For my parents (65-70 years old) it was difficult to walk safely. It is a shame because the cave is magnificent and should be maintained properly!

I have seen better caves, but mostly very slippery stairs all over, would not recommend for elderly. Horrible restrooms outside.

Great place, you go in a group, international students pay half ticket also. There is some bats sleeping during the winter.

Drove over 2 hours to get there, parked and went towards the entrance, a guy came out saying what? … can we go down to the caves ? No .. you are only 2 people if you were 4-5 more and a guide you could go! The staircase was there, and the place doesn’t need any tour guide! He didn’t let us go and see the caves! … unbelievable, and very rude …

Nice place to visit. Bear in mind that it's only 7 degrees in there. So take a jumper 😅 we visited in the summer and it was a nice change from 33 to 7 😅 otherwise an Amazing place to check out

Nice cave, good smell inside as bats not available during this month ,they appear on October and april .the cave almost 1 hr drive from Sofia airport area. Ticket admission 15 leva ,except for seniors it is only 5 leva. every 20 minutes there is group entry with an assigned Guide. There is only small cafe machine ,soveniers desk there. Parking available with take away coffee shop. There is stairs to reach the cave gate plus inside ,so it is improper for handicaps.you need jackets or heavy cloth inside as cave temp reach 7-11 C

I've loved it. Every time I go there I see how amazing the nature actually is. You have various patterns that you can explore. There is a free parking lot so you can go there with a car without any concerns. The road itself is something that really needs to be redone. The thing that I can emphasize is the staff kindness and welcoming. Thanks a million for your service.

Loved the caves, about an hour away from Sofia but worth the visit. Loved the Concert hall opening within the cave

😠 The girl which is explaining for the farm is really nice and polite. But the guy, probably owner or relative to the owners is really rude to all visitors. It's not hard to understand who's the guy i am talking about when you visit the farm. I will give you a hint anyway, he uses s cane. One more thi...
