Nava Brindavana is a shrine of nine Maadhva saints of the yore. There are nine brindavanas or graves. It is on this island situated in Tungabhadra River near Anegondi, Raichur district, Karnataka. It is about six minutes boat ride from the shore. The shrine also has two tiny shrines: one of Hanuman and the other of Sri Lakshmi Ranganatha said to be the overlord of the island.

Nava Brindavana is guru sthan of Shree Raghavendra swami. This is also the holiest place for madvas as shree raghavendra swami is know to be their ila velupu or family god. To reach here you can travel in bus from every district to hosapet and from there you should reach anegunde. Via train hosapet is connected with train from different cities, mainly bangalore and hyderabad, as far as i know! Once you reach hampi or anegunde, you need to reach the banks of Tungabhadra and hire a Coracle Boat and they charge 20 to 40 rupees for one way depending on the crowd. during heavy flow of water in tungabhadra it is tough to reach the place but in summers its advisable to go as the flow of water is less. Once you reach the place you will flow in bliss of divinity and really start feeling the power of the place. this also happens to be the capital city of lord of Monkeys, Sugriva and Vali. there are many such places which one can explore but one should be patient enough to explore.

Nava Brindavana gadde is located on an island in the Tungabhadra River at Anegundi, near Hampi, Karnataka, India. Navabrindavana has the tombs(resting place) of nine saints, followers of Madhvacharya, and predecessors of Sri Raghavendra. You have to take a boat ride to reach this place.

A must visit place. Very divine place to visit. It has a large history. It is surrounded by river and rocks. Beautiful view for the eyes. We have to travel by 2 boats to reach the spot. For this they will charge 25₹ per person. But the place is worth the visit. It contains the Brundaavanas of nine Hindu Madhva holy people, who have a place with the Uttaradi Mutt, Sri Raghavendra Swamy mutt, Sri Vyasaraja mutt and the Sri Sri Padaraja mutt and other various prominent madhwa mutts. It is situated on an island in the Tungabhadra River

Right now the road is under construction almost completed. Still one can easily reach it. When we went there coracle to cross the waters was not available. The entire area is very scenic and beautiful.

Very beautiful and vibrant place. Have visited thrice staying at Sri raghavendra mutt. All saints attaining brindhavana leaving the middle area for the saint who as prahaladha did thapas on Narasimha, and that saint is great shri Vyasaraja mahaprabhu. All saints are powerful especially Sri Padmanabha tirtha(direct shishya of acharya Madhva), Sri Sudeendra Swamy(guru of Mantralaya mahan) and others, but for me the hero of this place is Sri Vyasaraja Mahaprabhu due to the work he has contributed, and hence bhakthi still persists among us!

Navabrindavana is a place of history. You can see Vyasaraja's Brindavana and also 8 others Yatindras Brindavana. Place is located in a very scenic place and just on the banks of Tungabadra River. You have to take a boat to certain point and then walk to reach the Brindavana. It is a place worth the visit and pay respect.

This island in Hampi is very powerful place. There are 9 Jeeva brindhavanam. The main brindhavanam of vyasaraja is here. You will have to take a boat to reach this place. Tungabhadra river has many such good places. You need to carry all necessary items with you. You can't gt anything here.

On Arathana days, only Brahmins are allowed inside the temple, while members of other castes are not permitted. Despite this, they then proceed to beg, requesting donations.

Beautiful and serene location. Lot of beautification works carried out on the driveway. To reach here just take the Vijaya vittala temple route from Hampi main road.

A very serene place. In need of maintenance though. The priests rever the place and are so dedicated that they do Not wear chappal while walking for about half a kilometer on the hot rocks to reach the boat. The weather is always hot .

You'll have to take the boat to go to this holy place. It costs 30 per person for one side, the distance is short and hence the ride is also but nice to travel in the boat in the beautiful river.
