Shri Yogi Nareyana is also called as shri Yogi Nareyana yathindra. This is the place dedicated to a famous saint "Narayanappa" popularly known as Kaiwaram Thathaiyya. He has composed beautiful keerthanas on Amara Narayana Swamy (Vishnu) in Kannada and Telugu Languages. The Yoga has been explained in detail by him in one of his writings "Bramhandapura Shatakka". The ashram also has "Nitya Annadana Program" where hundreds of people are served in a day and it is worth eating here rather than eating in small private hotels in Kaiwara.

Sweet little religious getaway place for weekends near Bangalore.. It is about 65 kms from Bangalore and is situated amongst a group of hills. Accommodation facility is available and two free meals per day is served to all visitors. Also there is small national park attached to this place. There was once a huge lake next to this ashram but is now completely dry.. Best period to travel - between august and February

Spacious Religious place with many devotees doing meditation in the annexe. The place can be accessed from Amara Narayana Temple by walk. If you need to take your car, then follow the small road at the other end of the village (sign boards exists). The place is having lot of parking space and is maintained well. Adjacent to this, there is a dining hall, where free lunch/prasadam will be served. There will be meditation and cultural activities going on in the complex area.

It was difficult to find car parking, there is a small road by the side of the temple where I parked the car, it was not clean, paid parking charge Rs.10. Temple is clean and well maintained, there is a safe place to leave your footwear, temple is not usually crowded. Rooms are available for over night stay. Good hotels are not available in Kaivara so you don't get quality food. It is a nice spiritual place for a brief visit.
