This place is ultimate, all green and homely. Food is so so much delicious. Must visit place. You can just come and chill hear. Their ginger Kombacha drink is very good. Just in love with this place😍❤🌹

Very homely atmosphere and good food. The host is very helpful. You can get good coffee and tea also. Clam stay and happy place.

This restaurant is hard to find with normal view. At night, one would be confused if there is a restaurant at all. Inner view is good, totally surrounded by trees and a hill view. Restaurant is decorated in the form of woody look. Talking about food, some are good, some are not. Pizza was bit disappointing, but macroni was good. Their juices are the best.

Half Way Home in Gokarna offers a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. The menu has a decent variety of dishes which are tasty .The service is friendly, but there were noticeable delays during my visit. The ambiance, however, with its beachy vibes, is a highlight. Pros-stay is so bohemian, beach is nearby, host is really good looking 😁, not overcrowded or loud and good service, kombucha is a must try here Cons- road to this hostel is really bad And it gets really bad at night,and there is not much time relaxation on check out which is usually given by other hostels if you check in late, food is a little pricey, no parking available for cars you have to park it outside

It was Home away Home for me. The place, vibe, music and the food man, though home made was never less than any other restuarants, best part is how they've multiple cuisines to choose from. Also their discipline requires a shout-out! They also have Pawfriends that are too sweet for life. At the end of the day, I can say I'll choose this place over and over again everytime I visit Gokarna. To more power in the coming years Halfwayhome! Keep rocking :)

We were staying at Halfway Home on our trip to Gokarna. The tents are sanitized and clean. There is a table fan and light inside with a switch board to charge approx two devices. A liquid repellent is there too. There are three bathrooms and three washrooms. The restaurant serves breakfast and meals, really good south Indian breakfast and coffee. The wood oven pizza here is a must have along with different flavours of kombucha. The place is well kept. The owners are really helpful and will make your stay comfortable.

In this era where it is almost not possible to maintain your ethics I found some people or I can say a family which was trying to maintain the ethics and culture. In the whole gokarna it's almost not possible that you will find any hotel or rooms where alcohol is prohibited except this place... All the dishes are completely handmade and give you the feel of home and the service is just not the work it's like love they are giving you.... One thing I found was an economical loss but an ethical win which was... They aren't selling the bottled water because it comes in plastic and it is not good for the environment They give you filter water instead at the place where even normal water costs 30 rupees per litr.... All the food specially the thali along with Kombucha is love

I visited its restaurant once everyday, tried all 3 meal. Best place for vegetarian in Gokarna. Pizza and Garlic bread both were too good. Best part is their home made Kombucha

Awesome. Loved it. The location is great. The interior and ambience was so cool. Food was really great. The staff was really welcoming. We ordered South Indian thali, which was great and affordable. We also order Kombucha, kombucha I must say, it's a must try. I'd definitely recommend going and enjoying your time here

Pizza is for view only,if you are a good photography skills, but pizza was not so great as it was rated on Google. Didn't like the pizza with this price tag. Roadside stall are better than there pizza. As crust was not cooked properly.

Definitely one of the best places to eat in Gokarna. The taste is very authentic and delicious. The best thing about the place is that they DON’T USE ONE TIME PLASTIC. I noticed that in Gokarna there’s a lot of plastic waste around the place and this was great to know a business caring for the environment. For breakfast, I tried: 1. Puri Bhaji - is was great. The puris’ were soft and the bhaji was also good 2. Mangalore Buns / Banana Buns - I tried this first thing in my life and loved it For lunch, I tried their thali which was very fulfilling. For dinner, I tried: 1. Feta Pizza - I personally didn’t find it to be that great but somehow people have loved it. 2. Blue Tea Kambucha - this was my first time drinking a kambucha and I just loved the blue pea flavour. Definitely recommend Overall loved how the place is run by the owner Kartik. He’s very welcoming and kind. Cheers to such businesses

I visited this place for dinner by myself during my stay in Gokarna. I wanted to try their Local Thali but that wasn't available. I had also heard about their wood-fired oven pizzas and then ended up trying that. The pizzas were really nice with a lot of cheese. I also had Pineapple Kombucha to go along with pizzas which was quite refreshing. It cost. 230 bucks for Onion and Garlic Pizza and 60 bucks for Pineapple Kombucha. Overall, a good experience.

Super yum food and really loved the vibe there. Everything we had from pizza to South Indian thali and Kombucha, tea coffee. All were 💯 highly recommend this place.

I can say Halfway Home is the best stay house in Gokarna. The food, accommodation, cleanliness was on next level it was really very good. And the owner of the stay is very friendly. We just had a great time over there. And I recommend everyone to visit Halfway Home 🏠 😊.

We had our dinner here. It's definitely a must visit for vegetarians . Where most seaside resorts serve non vegetarian food this pure veg multi cuisine restaurant is amazing. We tried their wood fire pizza. Totally recommend them, their cheesy garlic bread are amazing. They also have delicious kombucha that you must drink. And the ambience is so beautiful. Remember to go early as they close by 9.

Definitely one of the best places to eat in Gokarna.and also this place is very quite so just loved the vibe thier. The taste is also very authentic and delicious. I had tried their Pasta it was very great in taste. And also tried their so called famous Kambucha, i tried Ginger Kambucha - this was my first time drinking a kambucha and I just loved the ginger flavour. Giving two stars just for location and efforts for maintaining the nature friendly aesthetics. It's very near to Kudle beach, Gokarna main beach and temples. So u can simply walk to these places. And tent is placed in calm and green atmosphere. Tent is very smaill. Only provided with a bed, pedestal fan and an extension cord which is sticked to the wall. If u want to charge ur phone, u don't have any place to keep it, it'll will just hang from the wall. Floor is matted for only half portion, other side is just tarpaulin, not even put an effort to cover it. And u can't lock the tent, so if u want to leave any belongings, at ur own risk. No chairs were kept outside the tent to chill outside. Morning time, u can't sit inside the tent as it is very humid. Bathrooms and toilets are common. Not cleaned properly. Toilet flush doesn't work and latches also. There're 3 toilets and 3 bathrooms, most of the time u can't use that coz of these reasons. And after booking for queries, u can't contact the owner over phone coz he never pickup or replies. But in person he handles ppl well. Other staffs are not communicative. And if you're going there for food, try their pomegranate Kombucha. That's really nice.

A place you really should check out, especially for the Kombucha. My absolute favorite is the pomegranate kombuch. It's was delicious. The food is tasty too. We tried the mushroom chilly and a pizza. The mushroom chilly was incredibly tasty, something I've never had before. The pizza was a bit too cheesy for my liking, but still okay.
