The view at the top is simply breathtaking... This place is the literal definition of being in cloud nine... You can see clouds rising and blowing right past you... Though this may be because we visited during July (monsoon season) this place is indeed worth a visit any time of the year.. You can travel by car upto a certain point and then you will have to continue by foot... The trek is rocky and little steep and slippery during the monsoon but the view at the top makes it all worthwhile... Also visit the kodige falls nearby is also very good .. Hope the tourist department takes notice of this place and improves the roads and basic amenities

Brilliant view, can easily lose yourself looking at the mountains from this view point. Go on a weekday to be left alone from random crowd, you'll truly be one with nature. The sky lights up after sunset and its mesmerising to see the iridescent light show that nature has to offer. If you want a clear view, go in the morning. If you want light show, go in the evening

Visited ranijhari and was left in awe of breathtaking beauty. the panoramic views from the top are absolutely stunning. The trek to the summit is invigorating, surrounded by lush greenery and mist-covered hills. The cool mountain air and serene atmosphere make it a perfect escape from the bustling city life Carry salt as the leaches are there. Path would be highly slippery during monsoon .

The place was awesome. Must visit if you are planning a trip to chikamangalur. If you are going by a car, please drive carefully because the roads are bit congested and entire road is a ghat. From parking spot, you will have to trek over 2km to reach the edge point. Take umbrella or rain jacket for sure. You can’t predict when it will rain. And please don’t make it dirty by throwing your garbage there. πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™πŸ». Let’s keep it clean.

The sunset at this point is beautiful. It's just a 1 km walk to reach the point. Best time to visit this would be during monsoon when one can appreciate the greenery of the western ghats. If you are going to either Bandaje falls or Ballarayana durga fort, this point is a must visit.

The view from the top was fantastic. We drove with our car and from our car parking to the top of the hill around 700 metres . It is a must-see place for nature lovers. We were there when clouds were completely covering the place. It may be a little scary for elders because of the steep descents, but it is a 20-kilometre drive from Kottigehara to this place. Guys, it's a great place to visit.

Heaven on earth!! Such a wonderful place. Small distance to trek, also has jeep services if wanted. Literally on a top of the mountain and view all around. You do have a small Maggi shop down here which is perfect too! Best time to visit would be during sunsets, normally 6 30 pm.

A very refreshing short 15 minutes trek to the hilltop. Mesmerising View. The base of the trek is at crossroads to the starting point of the hike to Bandaje Falls, so don't forget to explore this section as well.

Rani Jhari Viewpoint is like stumbling upon a secret haven in nature. The short trek to get there adds a bit of excitement, but once you reach the top, the view is simply magical. The waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery, feels like a scene from a fairytale. It's a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty around you. Just be prepared for basic amenities, and consider bringing snacks and water. If you're looking for a peaceful escape with a touch of adventure, Rani Jhari won't disappoint.πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

Amazing place... Especially for sunrise. Very good for trekking during monsoon . Full green lush, rainy all day. Clouds under your feet amazing experience. But there will be too many leaches so try wear clothes that cover most part of your body. Try carrying salt or calcium as precaution. You'll get amazing photos there and the trekking to bandaje waterfall start from here. Try to go in morning to witness sunrise rather than afternoon.

One of the best view points. Less people compared to elsewhere. It’s at the foothills of Balarayana Durga(trekking place). You will enjoy this place. Also there is one coffee shop near the parking area. It’s a request not to throw plastic. Be a responsible human being! PS: watch the video and photos I have uploaded. You will love it

This is one of the off beat, a very beautiful view point in Chikmagalur. This place has a breath taking view. The Rani Jari, the edge point of a mountain is a highlight. One also gets to see a beautiful valley, mountain ranges, waterfall etc. During monsoon seasion the view is on another level with the added clouds. There is also a waterfall on your way to Rani Jari edge point. Make this a must view when you head to chikmagalur.

One of the amazing place to check out for explorers and travellers. It's 8 km deviation from Horanadu to bangalore route via Hassan. It's a off road for 4 kms and we must walk for a km, then climb the mountain for 5 mins you will teach this amazing breath taking place. View will make you forget everything and we can enjoy the nature. Both the side view is so nice you will enjoy the mother nature. Must visit place for nature lovers.
