My first meat (chicken cary) in India. The food was tastety, there are plenty of choices. Tge location is in the central of tourist area, not far from New Delhi Railway Station. There are many hotels around as well!

This cafe is an integral part of Ajanta Hotel. The food quality is awesome here. I've had breakfast here, which is a full menu and then some. Great bakery options here. For me as a guests at hotel, they made an exception for serving late for me as it was very difficult to get food that late... Will always remember that... The place is always packed with foreigners, which shows the trust they have earned over years...

The worst service ever. This restaurant is located in India however, they want to serve only foreigners. We waited outside for 30 minutes. Even if the table was available, they asked us to wait outside. No menu card was served to us for next 15 minutes. At the same time, foreigner entered immediately they offered menu card within 1 minute. I understand we should respect foreigners but, you should treat all the customers equally. We are also paying, not eating for free. Don’t ever visit this restaurant again. It’s very congested and service is awful. There is huge discrimination happening in this restaurant.

I'd give them minus scores if I could. Waited 45 minutes for nothing. Totally understand waiting your turn, and appreciate freshly cooked food, but they made us wait forever and others that came before us got served and we were left waiting. They didn't bother to explain and just kept us waiting. Decided enough was enough and asked what was happening... 2-3 minutes sir... I knew they were lying straight away and walked out. Not pleasant at all, and not acceptable. Check their reviews up until now, I'm not the first person to comment on their 3rd rate ""service"".

The name has changed to Saffron Restaurant from Cafe Vagabond. Visited this place, we ordered one Chicken Biryani, Veg Thalis ,Paneer Tikka & Brownie. The Paneer Tikka & brownie were too good, very delicious however the Chicken Biryani didn't take like chicken biryani, it was more of adding chicken pieces in Veg Biryani The rates of their Kadhai Paneer (didn't order, saw a person ordering it) are 305 which might look a very decent price but the quantity is very less (suitable for only one person, that's it) so don't think of ordering Sabzi separately, We preffered to order Veg Thali of the same price range - Raita was too bad, Dal Makhani & Paneer Butter masala were very ordinary, very disappointed with Thali, after having Paneer Tikka as starters had high expectation with them but the sabzi and dal didn't have masala properly, not worth to order

I discovered this cafe by mistake, booked into a hotel close by and cos the hotels food wasn’t nice decided to stroll and find something else and I must say wise decision cos I came back a few times to visit this cafe.. good service, very nice and warm workers and tasty meal

So good. I had the Chicken Biryani which was perfect. Then, I ordered Blueberry Cheesecake, and it was amazing. They brought me some saffron tea, and the staff, especially Bhamar, was super friendly and helpful. I'm staying down the street for several days.... I'll be back. Oh, and I guess they're open 24 hours. Great atmosphere too.

Food i cant review bcz they didn't provide us any! The place was full of foreigners, the restaurant staff behaved very bad didn't let us even sit , lied about reservation which was so clear. Didn't even ask for food. Humiliated withtbis kind of behaviour in my own country.

Been to this restaurant for breakfast and dinner for the past days because the quality of the food, the service and confort has been 5 stars. Highly recommend it. At breakfast theres the possibility of bouffet with a great variety of food and good portions! Will repeat for sure😁😄

Very slow service. I ordered chicken tandoori and steam rice with mutton roganjosh. They simply roasted the chicken and served it. They do not take any continental orders from Indians during lunch hours but same is not applicable for foreigners.

Average quality Indian food. Did not like the club sandwich that i ordered.

Lack of understanding between captain and cook. I've ordered chicken burger and chicken ham sandwich. After 10 mins he said burger is not available. I said no problem just bring sandwich. After 30 mins I asked about update then he went to cupboard and fetching breads to make sandwich. I just cancelled order. They were not even responding bothered to ask reason behind it. I think they only care about foreigners not Indians.

Nice place and good food in a rather busy locality. As we stayed in Hotel Ajanta we had breakfast here and it was good. There is limited parking if you come by 4 wheeler.

Note: The name has changed to Saffron Cafe. We really enjoyed breakfast here. When we arrived all the tables were full, but the staff quickly prepared our table. The breakfast buffet had a variety of items and all were tasty. We also ordered a cheese omelette and it had a great cheesy taste. The black coffee made from the buffet’s espresso machine was also a highlight. We do wish they had told us before charging a drink to our bill, as we thought it was in the buffet. But, not a big deal and it was a drink we had gotten. Highly recommend for a delicious breakfast, kind workers and a comfortable restaurant.

The coffee was great. I expected a small cup but the one they provided was perfect. The puff pastry was ok although the filling could have been more. I had to take several bites before i got to taste what was inside the pastry but overall it was ok. The blue berry was ok as well. The place overall was pleasant. It was just a few meters from my hotel so i would definitely be coming back again. 😊❤️

We had the Peri-Peri-Pizza and the Vegetarian Thali. It was really good and high quality food, we really enjoyed. It's a nice ambiente to spend the evening and service was good and fast. We also loved the blueberry cheesecake for desert.
