The Kharga Corps has set up Kharga Heritage Park at Ambala Cantonment to showcase the grit and valour of its warriors. The park highlights the martial traditions of the Indian soldiers, raising of the Kharga Corps in October 1971 for the liberation of Bangladesh, the impact the corps made in the defeat of Pakistan and the birth of Bangladesh. The park has statuettes displaying various activities of the Kharga Warriors, models of equipment depicting various arms, a replica of the Chattri Memorial of the First World War, statue of Lord Buddha and a prayer wheel depicting the Buddhist traditions of Ambala as highlighted by Chinese traveller Huen Tsang in his memoirs.

Wonderful place. If in Ambala, don't miss the chance to see 'making of Bangladesh' (estwhile east Pakistan) live like. You may view the place from outside anytime but can't go beyond a particular point during late hours. Ritual of Reveille and retreat of national flag (tricolour) is performed daily here.

Beautiful memorial in the memory of the fallen ones, the place is very well maintained and clean. They have an indoor museum too. An excellent place to visit with kids and even more beautiful at night. I would say it's a must visit place to gain information and understand the contribution of our brave warrior's. There is a park also for walking and it has some swings for the little ones.

The moment you pass by this park, I can guarantee you to to feel the patriotism. It's just amazing to see the details put into making of it and also salute to all the kharga warriors . Thank you for your service for this nation. Also people visiting this place, please see to it that you respect this place not to litter around. They have worked really hard in maintaining this place so it is our responsibility to keep it that way.

A very sacred place for dedicating deep regards and respects to the soldiers of the nation who have steadfastly withstood the vagaries of nature and the enemy across all wars. History is replete with the valour and sacrifice of the Kharga Warrior.
