A gem in vipingo! We loved all the hours we spent there. I'm still I awe. The food is equally amazing. Nothing beats having seafood feet away from rhe shore

Vipingo Beach Bar is a secret gem! Honestly, this place is perfect for a day getaway from Mombasa (only an hour away) to enjoy a pretty quiet beach, hanging beds, and lounge chairs...and lunch and drinks of course! I recommend the Mango Margarita! The only issue is that they are known for Seafood and there aren't always good vegetarian options (sadly). That said, the ambiance makes up for it. If you're a seafood lover who wants a nice beachside lunch...head here!

The staff are very attentive. I ordered lamb chops. The meat was tough. However the ambience is great. It's a good spot to enjoy the beach. It's a members only club, accessible to residents of Vipingo Ridge.

Perfect place by the beach to chill during the weekend. The restaurant is open only on weekends and during public holidays. The palm trees are perfect for shade and the jazz music sooths the soul. You can get leso pouches , trousers , shirts and dresses being sold there The shore is clean.. The food is amazing though experience

Beautiful and clean beach, don't go on weekends and public holidays if you need privacy. The hotel provides fully furnished changing rooms.

Wonderful view and atmosphere too. Unfortunately limited options when it comes to drinks, can do much better. The apple and ginger juice was very diluted. The hawain pizza and the spring chicken were great

The fish is exceptional. The waitress was really friendly, well trained and best service I have come across. Cant remember her name

What a great place! On the beach - hence the name! Wonderful setting, quiet and peaceful. Service is amazing and the food is to die for. Specials daily and good choice. The staff are wonderful and the owners look after everything expertly. Occasional boules tournaments, special functions and an upcoming New Years Eve Special Party. Wander down for the best meal in the area - you won't regret it.

Went for lunch on Monday. We were a group of around 12 people. Terrible service. Ordered food and drinks. Some were served some were not. Some were served while we had already eaten. We were overcharged on the pizza topping. Drinks that weren’t served were charged aswell. Food was ok too. Terribly disappointed. And despite the management knowing that we left disappointed they never bothered to issue an apology. Bill came up to around 34-35k.Expensive for nothing. I understand the location and stuff but with that kind of service and food.. Im sorry but a total waste of money. Never going back and wouldn’t recommend you going as well. Wish i could give a lower rating than 1star.

White Sand Beach.......

Rustic. On the beach. Pristine beach. Good food too. Pizzas, pastas, etc... If lucky you may see whales breaching the surface beyond the reef!

Ideal location for a day out. Private beach, great food and service. Staff are very friendly.

A nice and peaceful place. You can eat and drink, have a swim in the ocean. Take a shower, relax. Nearby apartments provide space for a longer stay. It's worth it. From the main road you can take a boda boda to the place. In the nearby village there is also a market to buy nice products.

Great place, wrong day. Wanted lunch on Valentine's day. After snorkeling out on the reef, but it was Vipingo's loss, as we had a great lunch with Angela and her crew less than 30 meters away. Give the shack a try you won't be disappointed. Trish, Tony and Derek

Very nice and quiet place. The service was slow. We had ordered sea food. The lobster was not cooked well at all hence could not finish the meal.

They have poor service, seemed to prefer nonlocals. They also don't have designated smoking areas so nonsmokers are made to endure.

Stunning location and views. Sitting out st the beach bar eating delicious barbequed seafood was brilliant. Service was fast and friendly. The sea just out from the beach bar was brilliant for snorkelling too.

One of my most favourite places to have sundowners and relax on a breezy sunday afternoon. The price of food and drinks is affordable and I think its worth checking out for any traveller
