Review of the restaurant: the location is for the sunset amazing! Enjoy the food with the view and atmosphere. Service and pricing is totally fair

Apartheid-like service! If you want to go back to the old SA inhospitable days, visit the place! The owner apparently believes he can look down at his clientele because prices are affordable here. We showed up at 13:30 and we were just turned down by this guy in his fifties saying it’s full and he can’t accept us waiting here! All this without a single word of apologies! We came back 20mn later on purpose and sneaked in as he was not there: all tables were available! Then we sat and ordered while the same guy showed up and instead of welcoming/thanking us to be back, he just said: « ah! you’re back » and laughed. To him, we’re just « poor whites »since we want to eat in his place. On top of that, a burning smell came out of the kitchen and we waited for our meals more than 40mn. When I asked the waitress why, she said the chef burned the meals! 😂 Still without excuse. Honestly, if you stay in Kasane, better avoid this place although recommended by Lonely Planet. They need learn about hospitality. We’ll try other places this week: keep posted!

In the morning we came here for breakfast. I read before that the waitress was really uninterested and that you will change the service. Unfortunately that didn't happen, your waitress in the morning is unpolite and unfriendly! Even when I said something about it, she didn't change.... The previous evening when we came for dinner the staff was much more friendly. The food and drinks are good, and the place itself looks really nice. I hope you can change a bit to the service, then we will definitely come back.

Close to the national park and they provide guides and vehicles too. Food was good and people were very helpful.

Nice small B&B , good service, easy breakfast, there is an offer for boat cruise to Chobe national park (excellent) and also some other trips which we didnt manage. Wild Pigs in the garden "belongs" to the house:). The only thing we found not so good were too small rooms and very soft matrace (backpain afterwards). Good located for going to the city or direction Victoria falls.

We had dinner, which was a STD steak house menu , wraps, burgers, pizza, ribs and steak. Waitress very efficient and steak cooked well . Owner very rude and un- welcoming even though we had booked a table.

Service at the restaurant was absolutely Horrible. The waitresses seemed more excited to serve visibly foreign guests, but were cold and make you feel like you should not be there. Right from the time we entered the restaurant. Not a great experience.

We Loved the old house. Beautiful surrounds, jetty to the river, small but beautifully presented and clean room for us and 2 kids. Although the menu was small, the food at the Restaurant was excellent, fresh and the best we had at any of our southern African accommodation. The staff were lovely, very helpful and efficient. I left 2 mobile phones there and before I could contact them they had contacted me to let me know. They then posted them back to me. Thank you so much! Trudy

I can not say anything about the rooms. There aren't many places to eat well in Kasane. When eating there, a Shirloin Steak which should be lean, but its mostly fat meat, a Salad with already prepared Knorr Sauce, waiting time 20 minutes to get served, than Sorry Managment, obviously no need to make any efforts. Tourist come anyhow.

Clean, cool, comfortable rooms. Service is good but the food is slow to come out and we were underwhelmed by the flavor (we got pizzas). There was a ton to see on the river cruise but our pace was quite slow because there was one (very hardworking, informative) person driving, looking for wildlife, and providing information for the whole boat. Suggest 2 people go out.

I cannot think of a better place I would want to stay in Kasane. A bliss of a hotel, so very cozy and nice, with a pool and a good restaurant, right at the banks of the beautiful river.

Service way too long. After being rejected on the first evening, we made sure to book in advance, thinking that the food was qualitative. Actually, we were served … one hour after ordering … and with delay between our plates … ! The food was extremely simple, sometimes cold and obviously frozen …
