Very standard place, a guest house to go to when in Chobe or Kasane, the manager is very wonderful , workers are amazing, the place is elegant and clean. I highly recommend Chiloto Guesthouse. There us a clean pool too and relaxation chair, and cheap compared to Guesthouse of its standard. I recommend

["I wouldn't stay here again. It is in a rather dodgy are - see the picture of the outside, and generally not really a well run place. Reception is run by teenagers who try hard, but there were a lot of issues.... See the cleanliness of towels in the picture, for example, or a bundle of wires at the entrance to the bathroom. But my chief complaint was amount of noise at night. There are people in and out, talking loudly (teens' friends? \"Security guard\"?) Other guests being picked up by tour companies at 5 am - the door bell rings. I usually don't care about the noise, I am a heavy sleeper. But this was unbelievable.\nReceptionist knocking on my door at all hours of the night, saying \"room service\" and asking to break up bills. Place is in a bit of a random area and the rooms could do with a bit of fixing up but overall clean, safe and very friendly staff. The night Watchman Bimbo was especially nice, he walked us to the bus park in the morning to make sure we got on the right one. Good place to stay if you're in Kasane for a couple of nights. They also organise trips to chobe.

Stayed here for a night after chobe safari. Was an excellent stay, clean rooms and toilets with air conditioning. Shops not too far. Good price/locations. The owner tifu and his wife were very helpful in trying to arrange a way for me to get to maun. They contacted people they knew at the airport to try and get me a cheap flight, unfortunately the planes were full but they got me a bus ticket and dropped me to the station. Went above and beyond my expectations! Would highly recommend this place for backpackers!

["Kasane is a small town with most of lodges being along the river. When i looked at them they were bit over my budget. Chiloto guest house is about 10min walk to the river and bars and about 20min walk to SPAR supermarket. At the first look the area is not convincing. It looked more like as it was in a vilage, not town. Gravel road, chickens and dogs running around. At the end turned out it is nice area. No trouble here. The rooms were well equipped and very clean, comfortable bed, aircon, nice bathroom and good few channels in tv. At night rooster and dogs didn't let me sleep but i kind of liked the villagish atmosphere anyway. If i am around i will stay there again.",null,[0,239]]

Great guest house within a short walk of town centre (10-15 mins). The staff are really friendly and helpful. The double ensuite rooms have aircon, TV, moscito net (not that we needed it much in june), a refrigerator. Game dives can be booked here too. The compound is in a safe area, has a 24hr security guard and high walls for additional reassurance. Taxi to the border with Zambia is $5. Would stay here again.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Short walk to supermarket, banks, restaurants etc. Looks like a dodgy neighborhood but very safe.

Excellent place for the price. No problems with the surrounding area. A few shops and bars nearby. Staff were excellent.
