The property was less appealing than expected after reading reviews and seeing photos online. The structures seemed outdated, awnings were missing from the parking spots, rats (or some animal) were crawling around in the ceiling of our unit and kept us awake, and the showers sprayed everywhere and made a mess in both bathrooms. The staff at breakfast were very friendly, as well as the receptionist. We enjoyed our boat cruise as well, although the activity was organized through Chobe Marina Lodge. We were also the only guests at the lodge, so it felt empty. There are no views of the river, no trees, and very little natural appeal about the property. It's literally just a place to sleep for the night.

Awsome place, quiet,clean,convenient

Comfortable and clean, perfect for an overnight stay.

We were forgotten at the airport in Kasane and got a room at Tlou Safari Lodge. Aretha safed our lifes and was the most helpful and friendliest person you could have asked for. She helped us with everything, we bothered here severely times that night and she still stayed friendly and kind and helpful. The rooms were perfectly clean and the bed was very comfy. Thank you.

We stayed in the lodge for 2 nights in the end of July. We had a great time there, it has everything you need, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. Whenever we had questions/issues they were more than helpful to point us to the best restaurants or boat trip. You get the full service here for a reasonable price. I can only recommend it, can't wait to be back in Africa!

Absolutely amazing, modern and extremely spacious rooms and living space. There is wifi and dstv. Safe and secure parking. Very helpful staff that are willing to go beyond to help, not to far from the border with shops nearby.

Wonderful place to stay in Kasane. The rooms are huge and well equipped. Everything is spotless. The price is very reasonable for what you get. The staff went way overboard to tale care of us. You will not see a lot of wildlife from the room but, the location is convenient to everything in Kasane.

Nice intimate place. Can't wait for the upcoming restaurant by the pool. Enjoyed my Valentine overnight stay there.

It is a nice and beautiful lodge with some beautiful units for accomodation & it has a park & a beautiful swimming pool The most interesting part is that it is near the river & you don't have to go far to see the wild animals like elephants,buffalo,Mongols & plenty of birds

Fantastic place, friendly staff, great food

Terrific lodge, great service, and minutes from every Kasane adventure. Comfortable lodges with kitchens, living rooms and your own space to unwind. The grill and deck are terrific for grilling out, esp with the grocery store a short walk away. Ronelle and her staff spoil you rotten as you take in all Kasane has to offer, or atage trips to Vic Falls or Chobe National Park.

This location is good for going in to the park by Botati River. And it is self catering with everything you need . Good swimming pool. Beds good. Petrol station round the corner and a shopping for food. All there.

Stayed here for 3 nights and the experience was extremely wonderful. The staff were more than helpful and Aretha especially was exceptionally kind and understanding. Can't thank her enough! Prices are quite reasonable compared to other lodges and perfect if you're looking for a place to relax after a hectic day. The rooms were spotless with nothing much to complain about. On our second night, mosquitoes did sneak in (not sure how since our doors were closed before we left), but the staff provided us with a spray that solved the problem pretty quickly. The breakfast options are limited (not much variety), but the Chef was more than helpful and specially arranged a breakfast catering to my allergies. Thank you Chef! The lodge itself is quite spacious and you quite thoroughly patrolled at night by the guards so we never felt unsafe. You can take a stroll at any time during the night. The rooms are quite spacious and everything works as intended. As this is self catering, we got everything we were hoping. On a side note, I did not see a filtered water tap for us to drink from so you may need to buy water from outside. They do provide a few bottles in the fridge but those finish pretty quickly. The wifi is pretty good and you can do whatever you want without any problems. The lodge provides various activities which are decently priced so you won't have any problems with booking any trips. However, these are managed by Chobe Marina Lodge afaik. Additionally, just outside the lodge are various shops (Shoprite, Nandos) that are just a 2 min walk away as well as a fuel station so you will never really have to go away from that area for anything that you could want. All in all, we had a fantastic time and I can wholeheartedly recommend this if you're looking for a self catering stay in Kasane!
