I booked the place for almost a week. When l entered the room, was the smell! There was a stench especially in the bathroom; and a dead moth on the light stand which l had to request to be cleaned. The sheets had a stained blood and l asked for an extra sheet but the worker says there was none. So l had to sleep on the bed barely. There are no comforters which makes it uncomfortable to sleep with just a piece of cloth. I especially thought it was rude that guests are not informed beforehand for music to be played loudly upstairs despite the fact that people would be sleeping. I enjoyed the air conditioner, honestly the only good thing l could say. The bathroom needs a renovation especially the shower heads and the bathroom doors.

A decent place to lodge for a short while. Great view of the weija lake and a serene environment. Easy access to vehicle to and from the place and friendly staff. The negatives will be the inability of the washroom taps flowing and breakfast. I'll give it a three out of five

Cool place for rest overs

Service is good It is not expensive It is not far from West Hills Mall. Good location You get easily a taxi to the centre of Accra. Nice view on the lake. Quiet because of the sound insolation you hardly hear the traffic noises.

It's a good place but there's more improvements to be done with the beds and washrooms - especially the beds, the need to replace those separating beds with a single King size bed and change the sheets regularly

From the 12th of July till the 12th of August 2014 I was in Ghana. I stayed at Cheers Guesthouse. It's very easy to reach along the Accra-Capecoast Highway. The location is very nice, it's near Shoprite and westhill shopping mall and you have a fantastic view of the Weija lake. It's quite new, so I hadn't read any reviews about Cheers. I was not disappointed; the place is very clean, hospitable, the rooms are clean and spacious and have their own balcony and there is a huge roof top terrace. Nice breakfast, with tropical fruits. You can get easily a taxi or a trotro from the the guesthouse to go to town, the beach or to Cape Coast / Elmina. The owner has put a lot of work into this place to make it what it is and to me it 's been done succesfully.The name "Cheers Guest house" stands exactly for what their motto says: a place where comfort doesn't have to be expensive.Therefore I'd like to recommend this place to everybody who's planning to go to Ghana!
