Dear Ministry of Foreign affairs This your online application is not helping in any way. It's been 3 months since I started following up on my passport I applied online yet they keep tossing me. Your " online passport application" is no different from your manual passport application. If you don't give middlemen anything (money) then they keep tossing you. If this is your definition for online then I think you guys should stop deceiving we citizens that online is fast and less stressful because I don't see the difference.

The phone is never answered when you call the Ministry. I have been following up on an online passport application for my mother which was supposed to be ready since 15th March 2019. The old lady have been following up at the Passport Office to no avail. Whenever I call the contact numbers provided online by the Ministry, the call is not answered. I am soo disappointed.

It is only in GH that you find advertised contact numbers on websites that isn't working. Wake up GH. This doesn't speak well of us. so why do you put the numbers there if you know they are not active.

The only ministry you will go and be welcomed like a king/queen. If any question walk in and see for yourself.

The new home of the Ministry is large and spacious. Though it lacks the kind of security you would expect at such an establishment. The offices are neither setup ultramodern, nor plush. Pleasant staff though. Lots of young people.

Something need to done regarding the issuing and renewal of passports. At this very moment procedures; gathering information from web and communications wise is very very stressful there are no options provided also customers service is very negative especially, in case of emergencies. My understanding of the changes, had been made due to Security reasons. Can there be other identifacation methods such as legal personnels, employer, banks and other reputable personnels, can they be as witness after the applicant has final finished filling out the forms. This option and opinion is regarding those who might not have any help due to internet, or computer knowledge also travel from their States to another state because of getting a passports or renewal. This is opinion if it can be evaluated. Thanks.
