Rustic Village Experience. The place in situated opposite to Maheshwar city and fort, which can be easily accessed through a reasonably priced 15 minutes boat ride from the resort. It is in a real village, bang on the bank of river Narmada and a 10 min walk to beautiful and clean sahastra dhara. Resort owner Shubham was a great host and was always happy to accommodate our requests. Rooms were basic, but clean and nice designed to go with the village surroundings. Food was locally grown, home made and delicious. You can take a bullock cart ride and try your hands on the farm if you fancy that. Overall great experience. Must go for people who love off beat and rural destinations.

I have visited Shiva Rewa resort at least four times, and every time I have been mesmerized by its peaceful atmosphere. What sets this place apart is its authenticity, which makes it unique from other hotels and resorts. The staff at Shiva Rewa treat their guests personally, rather than professionally, which adds a personal touch to the experience. There are plenty of activities to do here, such as taking a stroll to Sahstrdhara, enjoying a village walk, or taking a boat ride on the beautiful Narmada River. Overall, the resort is nestled in the lap of nature, making it a serene and rejuvenating destination.

Had a fantastic stay during my Parikrama, ended up from looking for a place to just clean up to being in love with the entire experience so much so that I vow to come here and spend a week again. The host Shubham is a lively, chatty and a vibrant individual to meet so definitely ensure he is there to setup and accompany you for the bonfires by the side of the goddess Narmada. If you are reading this review, you dont need to look further, you made the right choice.

Shiva Rewa is a scenic haven on the Narmada, in Maheshwar. A humble village stay - Shiva Rewa remains true to its name. My recent visit is memorable for the warm hospitality of the hosts which will remain with me for a long time. Participating in planting Champa trees and a bit of landscape designing was fun in the midst of friendly banter with the hosts. As a solo female traveller, there couldn't be a safer and warmer environment! I wish the owners the very best in making Shiva Rewa a coveted stay in times to come. I do look forward to visiting the place again and experiencing it all over.

We recently visited this place, location is wonderful. Staff and owner all are very friendly with good behaviour. Food was very tasty as home made Food. Stay was very comfortable , Pets are allowed here. We went with out cute doggo. At the walking distance u can see Sahastra dhara of narmada , and also a ghat, this place is just infront of maheshwar fort. In evening u can see the fort beautiness. But 2 things need to improve : 1) At the restaurant area or sitting area they should place some speakers of the music . Without music place seems very lonely. And 2) in rooms they should place and wardrobe , a small one. And also TV in the room. Because full day it's difficult to pass the time. But overall stay was lovely and I will also recommend this place Thanku 😊 🙏

Beautiful and peaceful place. Safe for family or girls. Very warm and friendly staff. Food was amazing. Only the road to the place was bit difficult to find as we reached there at night time. Do reach in daytime it's beautiful riverside place with amazing nature. If you like nature and peace and simple living (not luxurious) which we like so this is perfect place . Nice natural mud rooms and lush green surroundings.

Situated right on the banks of river Narmada, this place offers a extremely peaceful stay. You get a look into the village life, cows grazing the grass fields, villagers hanging out on the river ghat, fishermen fishing in the river, gazing at night stars, it is a very wonder and peaceful experience.

This was my second stay here for friends reunion and we all had a great experience. Property owner ensured we have a good time and went extra mile to fulfill our demands and showed us around. Property is beautifully located on the river bank away from city which is a peaceful and fulfilling stay experience.

It was a great & memorable stay in home like atmosphere in Maheshwar at this Shiva Rhiwa homestay. We were a group of five families, all enjoyed a lot on the river-side calm & pleasing, rural environment. I recommend staying here for those in search of peace & tranquility. Mr Shubham Tiwari, the owner of this homestay, is also very accommoditing personality. He is prompt in providing every service, just on a single call. on demand. One feels just like at home. The umbrella like large shed with several charpoys and dim light dinner is a never forgettable experience.

Shiva Rewa is a perfect gateway for a peaceful weekend gateway on the scenic Narmada bank. It is a place where you can relax and enjoy your holidays. Owners are very friendly and always there to make you feel comfortable. Stroll on the banks of the river or a boat ride is bonus.

My family and me have planned this years long drive to be from Pune – New Delhi – Pune and being slightly mesmerized by River Narmada/ Rewa (Har Har Narmade Maa) in our earlier visit to Shri Aumkareswar, my spouse Shivani researched and found out Shivrewa for a night halt while on return leg of aforementioned journey. Our concise feedback on our stay in Shivrewa is – we did not make any mistake by staying there and the team and infrastructure and facility have truly surpassed our expectation. In detail the feedback will look like - Shubhamji (Mr. Shubham Tiwari) and everyone of Shivrewa team are true example of hospitable host. - The facility (room and bed) are example how one can stay with nature with minimum requirement. Those who look for star rated comfort and life full of pleasure of dance floor, bar etc. should think twice before visiting the place. Rooms are spacious, tastefully decorated in rustic style, clean comfortable and hygienic. The silence of nature and song of the flowing river are truly rejuvenating. Staying here might be an eyeopener for many on minimalistic living ideas. It seems save mother Nature is the motto of this place. - Food, due to location choices are limited and due to policy non-veg are not allowed, are simple, robust and delicious. Even being hardcore non veg we did not notice the absence of non-veg item here. We simply loved the food where most of the ingredients are local produce (Probably 100% Organic). - Soothing sound of flowing water is added bonus in night. Wonderful Sunrise can be see just sitting in the Verandah in front of the room. - They offer music and bonfire. - For bird photographer this place offers many species. In a short span of three hours we could see some real winged beauties. - Team members or staffs are not trained like star rated hotel but they are epitome of humbleness, politeness and friendliness. The only negative point that we have noticed is Mr. Google is not too much helpful to find this place. While approaching when one is 1.5 to 2 km away should contact at resort team for guidance. We had followed Mr. Google and lost all directions and had to make SOS call to Subhamji for rescuing us. Then we realized we were barely 300 meters away. In conclusion me and my family will like to say we are eagerly looking forward to visit Shivrewa again. God bless them all. Dinabandhu & Family. P.S. shall try to upload few photos after converting them to jpeg , if it is possible to edit this page, in couple of weeks.

Only reason to come @ Shiva Reva is to stay with nature's goodness. A perfect place to get calm 😌 and relax. The beauty of Shiva Reva is its simplicity. You do not get the lavish infrastructure here but peace. The sound of water at night, shining stars at dark and chirping of birds in early morning definitely catch your attention.

In today's time, we and our coming children have become so dependent on material comforts day by day that from where life begins, we have forgotten to live, tolerate, eat, drink, you will get the experience of nature like this. Which is not available in big, big hotels and resorts, in so little money and good environment

The place has a very simple sense of aesthetics which appeals to us as a family. The staff is extremely warm and helpful. The host is truly a super host and was there to provide whatever we needed and warmly indulged our 6yr old. The access to the river is a plus point. Shahastradhara is walking distance if you enjoy a nice long walk. They offer tents to camp in which I'm sure will be on our cards we come next. Thanks Shubham for all the arrangements!

You can find it more amazing and rejuvenating if you are a true nature lover. I never roamed, partyed , chilled and slept so much close to Narmada. That noon, evening, night and morning..was so much satisfying. Hospitality of property owners and raw local staff adds to what we call best you can get in a village theme resort. Away from traffic, crowd and urban worries, a place is there that is Shiva Rewa Village. One can find it safe for family & children and others can find it equally adventurous with friends. I am sure, food has improvised to make it best of its kind. Will soon plan to visit it again, but more than one night for sure. #ShivaRewaVillage

A peaceful serene farm on the bank of Narmada. Equipped with basic amenities, topped up with fresh air, village walks, river views, fresh and healthy food, warm hospitality and pleasant vibes. Network and electricity work fine if you need. Will be visiting again for sure.

This place is magical!!! The most special part of this property is it's organic feel and a view of holy narmada. It's so natural and earthy, didn't feel like leaving the place. Sahastradhara falls where one can easily bathe, is just a beautiful walk away. Paradise for bird watchers. Added benefits of homely grown and cooked food. Quite friendly staff. Narmade haar

Shiva Reva is one of its kind. The best part is the feeling of tranquility with the river side view of Narmada. To be very honest I haven’t visited such a great scenic place ever before. It’s a must visit place for nature lovers.

The resort Shiva rewa in front of the great river Narmada is a wonderful place of peace and relaxation. The rooms are spacious and clean, with the bathroom separated from the shower. Shiva is a very kind and helpful host at every request. For Us it was a wonderful experience to spend 5 nights in this little paradise. At about 15 /20 minutes walk there are very beautiful waterfalls especially at sunset. For those looking for some peace from the frenzy of the world we recommend coming to visit this beautiful place. Shivareva is an excellent place to visit for a break from stressful life. Awesome food. We (friends) had a lot of fun—superb location on the Narmada river bank. A must-visit a place with friends or family.

I visited this place on my anniversary in mid May. Nestled on the banks of the majestic River Narmada, the serene retreat of Shiva rewa offers a truly immersive village-like experience. If you're seeking a respite from the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the perfect place to detox, unwind, recharge, and connect with nature.
