This is a unique restaurant that has been operating since 1991 and the chef himself serves visitors. The food is fresh, everything is very tasty, the prices are very affordable and it is completely incomprehensible how one person can serve so quickly and efficiently? Water was free, and for dessert they served a cold, delicious watermelon as a gift. I recommend it. Excellent cuisine.

We arrived in Kylinia late in the evening. Settled in the hotel and decided to eat. We were recommended the restaurant Stivas. 16 girlfriends, hungry from the road, we saw the owner of one and thought that we would wait a long time .... but, the owner began to serve our dishes one after the other, one tastier than the other ... and in the end, we got a dessert - a delicious watermelon, For a present. In a pleasant environment, we rested, ate delicious food and were very satisfied. In the morning we took the ferry to Zakynthos. A few days later we returned through Kylinia to Athens, and of course, we visited Stivas, dined with a friendly owner - a cook, a waiter. Thanks Andreas for everything! Good luck, Suzanne .

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a wonderful lunch here before our ferry departure. The owner was super friendly and attentive. Our meal was delicious, we shared a Greek salad, she had the bean soup and I chose chose the oven baked chicken. Bonus points for his little dog that wandered from guest to guest in the hopes that something might fall down from the table. 10/10 experience. Would love to visit again!

It was an outstanding experience. We had eggplant salad as the appetiser, pasta with fish-tomato sauce and also grilled sardines as the main course and ice cream for the dessert. All were really delicious.

The owner advised us on the freshest of catches, took my husband back to pick which fish! If you have never had dandelion - HAVE IT HERE! Close to the ferry - Worth the visit for just for the food!

Great traditional Greek cuisine. Variety of dishes to choose from. The sea food is excellently cooked, with local herbs and spices. The meat is also very nice and we had some freshly baked bread as well. The staff is helpful with the recommendations and the service is excellent.

Came here to have the fish soup while waiting for the bus. The soup was delicious and it’s nice to dip with bread too. Owner is very friendly.

Nice cosy restaurant a stone throw from the ferry terminal. Food was yummy, flavourful. According to our guide, the restaurant is run by the owner alone. Amazing he was able to serve a group of twenty plus tasty warm food. I love the tomato stuff'd with fragrant rice, generous portions of pork chops and we had yummy home made chocolate coated ice cream. Highly recommended.

As per other posts, they didn't have all the items on the menu, but that should be a good sign. It means their food is popular and freshly cooked. We had a few dishes there, including grilled fish and octopus, bean soup and spaghetti. All very good and good value. Is visit again if in the area.

We just had to wait for the ferry to Keffalonia and hadn't had lunch yet. We ignored the noisy food places near the port and walked 50 metres in a street to discover this gem of honest and super fresh fish. A warm and genuine welcome completed this wonderful Greek lunch.

a really nice place, the owner is very friendly, he invited me to come into the kitchen to see the food baking in the oven. I had gemista, a really nice vegan option!

We came for lunch because of the reviews and weren't disappointed. The owner gave an excellent break down of the menu along with details of the freshly caught fish - delivered an hour earlier. We had freshly grilled sea bream and red snapper with freshly made chips and dressed salads (olive oil from home grown olives). Best dining experience of our whole holiday. Thank you!

We ate at this restaurant while we were waiting for our ferry, and it turned out to be one of our favorite restaurant experiences in Greece! Not only was the food so delicious, but the owner/chef was so hospitable and kind. Great service and food! The lamb meals will not disappoint you.

Excellent local food in a beautiful place. Andreas, the owner of the restaurant, is a great hostess. The best place to eat when in Kyllini. When we are in Greece for holidays we always make a stop there on our way to Kefalonia
